• Connie (5/5): Good location but felt a bit sketchy for this solo woman traveler. - I am a woman traveling alone. There were rooms occupied by what appeared to be temporary workers around me, but they were quiet enough. My room was clean. It was unsettling to walk past open doorways of workers staying in the rooms; again I am an older woman traveling alone. The people staying in the room next to mine threw out old dog crunchies onto the pavement - just nasty. My dog had to be walked around the mess so he did not eat it (because he would!). I understand that the owners are not responsible for these actions, but it's the kind of people who rent these rooms. I wished I'd known this before renting it. I left a day early and forfeited the rent.

• Marissa (4/5): - As a traveling medical professional the distance from this venue to work was convenient. I didn't particularly like the check in process if having to wait fir staff to arrive to get checked in. Also the lady that works there assuming it may be family is rude. Needs to change the attitude and be more available and make customers feel like they are bothering her. She is working and should be available to help without attitude.

• Jacquelyn (2/5): Stench was almost unbearable. - There was a room available. Our room had a horrible stench of septic gases. My husband is a contractor and noted it seemed that the toilet upstairs was pulling water out of the toilet p-trap allowing septic gases to flow into our room. He also noted that it probably would not get repaired as the fix would be costly.

• William (4/5): Spacious, but dirty - Spacious room Stained and torn linen, and the room was very unclean. Surfaces weren't wiped down, nor were the floors mopped. There was something that appeared to be ketchup like dried on the side of the nightstand and, after showering, walking around the room made the bottom of my feet nearly black with dirt. We booked the room for two nights but didn't stay after the first night.

• Susan (8/5): - Our room had a wonderful bed, king size, soft and just right firmness. The refrigerator was great to put our drinks in for the next day. Unfortunately, while they have been working on upgrading a few fixtures, the room badly needed a coat of paint. The floor had recently been redone and was good too. We weren't there for amenities or luxury so it did the job. Staff on check in was friendly and efficient. It looked like a great place for bikers on the AT a they had several things in the office for them.

• Michael (4/5): - I’ve stayed her for 25 years. New owner obviously. Bathtub full of dead bugs. Room floor filthy. Full ashtrays everywhere outside. Parking lot not swept and general detritus everywhere. Door did not seal room 11 to outside. Room full of bugs, some still alive. Whatever. I cant go back. The front desk lady was very nice. I did not complain because I was so tired from my day. Office is full of junk and crap. Used to be a real gem. I mean sapphire.

• Angie (6/5): - I was in Franklin for a couple nights in between travel. It’s a beautiful little town. Location was super convenient to highways. Staff was friendly and helpful. Updates on the horizon but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. I will stay again if I find my way in this neck of the woods again.

• Verified traveler (6/5): FLIES! Otherwise good - Room was clean and decently maintained/updated. However there were flies everywhere in the room to the point we did not use any of the towels or shower or anything in the room. If flies were not there I would give it a 4 stars, as everything was good not exceptional. Also pet fees for conditions of rooms are a bit high if you have a pet, more than the $30 their website says.
