Guest Reviews
- Dan (8/5): Great but small things help - could use a
---3rd wash cloth and face towel
---a courtesy pen and small 3x5 pad with a few sheets
- Min (8/5): - I was unable to contact the front desk using the phone in my room, and there was no guidance or explanation at all about which number to use to contact the desk at the time of hotel check-in or in my room, which was disappointing.
- Brittany (8/5): - Clean room, staff was friendly. Good location. Easy to park
- Judy (6/5): - Oxford is a bit old and you can tell it needs a remodel. However it wasn’t terrible. The rooms were clean and neat. Downside when we were there was that the elevators were broken so we had to take the stairs every time. The hallways were really warm too. But luckily the room had good AC. Staff was friendly and helpful. There’s two dining options in the hotel. Outside of the hotel the area is a bit dirty but it is LA so not surprised there. However, we are in Koreatown so plenty of food and drinks to enjoy. Some places were also open really late so that was great. There’s an HMart and a plaza about a 7 min walk away so there’s plenty to do. I would stay here again. Just hopefully the elevator doesn’t break down again haha.
- Steven (4/5): - The elevator was broken. The coffee machine was also broken that was in our room.
- Isabel (10/5): - Always good place to stay
- John (10/5): Quirky Koreatown Boutique Beauty - Quirky Korean-themed contemporary-modern boutique hotel with comfortable bed and Jetson furnishings; but the push-no-knob drawers didn’t always work, the lighting was challenging and the bathroom had a full length counter but only one small basin. The staff was friendly but their ability to help was limited.
- Alicia (10/5): - Great place to stay
- JONG HOON (6/5): - Old property except for room. Only room renovated and clean.
- Tammy (6/5): Just a place to sleep - Front staff was super friendly when arrived!! Hotel is a bit outdated. Bed was not comfortable at all and room did not have an iron. Overall it was a place to sleep, but probably wouldn’t stay again.
- Sangjik (10/5): - Very quiet and comfortable
- Edwin (8/5): - Great location to Western Ave. Lots restaurants, especially Korean, in the area within walking distance.
- Anthony (2/5): - Smells
- Paa (8/5): - The AC too noisy
- John (10/5): - The hotel was conveniently located. The room was well appointed. The parking was sufficient. The housekeeping service was excellent.
The Direct TV offered an insufficient choice of channels.
- Ivonne (10/5): - Great service and location! I called ahead because we were going to get there a little past 11:30pm and they stayed open to let us check in. They upgraded me to a deluxe room for free and the room was beautiful, spacious and clean! Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, bars and taco stands. I really loved the free parking too!! I would definitely stay here again!
- HYUKSANG (8/5): Moderate for staying in LA Korean town. - The hotel was within walking distance from the main Korean town. The facility seems a little bit of old. During one night staying the hotel, we got fire alarm which was caused by unknown origin. Our room’s cable TV did’t work properly, the service showed up and spent a period of time to fix it but ended up replacing with new TV. The car parking was free and spacious.
- Michael (8/5): - Easy spot to keep as a home base, close to public transport and very friendly staff.
- ki (10/5): - Comfortable and easy access with safety.
- ROCIO (10/5): - Good place to stay.
- lizbeth (10/5): - The room was clean.
- Hyunsik (8/5): - Thank you for good service.
- Krysta (10/5): - No ice vending machines on any floor but ask front desk they bring it to your room. Quick and simple check in/out process, easy self parking and clean. Definitely stay here again!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent but outdated - Decent outdated hotel with good location in Koreatown. Underground parking was easy. Overpriced for condition of facilities but no issues during our stay.

- BO HWAN (4/5): - It was so noisy at night.
- Caroline (10/5): - All staff are friendly, and the location is convenient to everywhere.
- David (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions and concerns. Def would return back for another stay when I’m in town. Close by to all local shops and restaurants. And a plus that it’s free parking.
- Cesar Jr (10/5): - Good experience overall
- Ethan (10/5): - Great place, nice staff
- Petronilo (6/5): - Not use to many homeless, but hey it’s LA
- Jinmo (4/5): - Dirty and old and noisy
- Amelia (8/5): - The hotelnis a little outdated but the room is clean and spacious. There a re a lot of korean restaurants withing walkong distance along with korean shopping malls. Its my second time staying here due to walkable areas of interest
- Joseph (4/5): - WiFi was barely functional, walls are thin and you could hear every thing from the neighbors and the hallway. Would not recommend.
- Sunmi (4/5): - The facility is too old
- Jaekyung (10/5): - Quite, clean and
Convenient area
- youngkyung (8/5): - Convenient location and free parking but building is old and need renovation.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel is old and has a smell to it. The hotel has potential but it needs upgrades. Carpet in the room and hallways.
- Kyung (10/5): - The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was clean.
- Leah (8/5): - It was good. Bathrooms are nice.
- PATRICK (6/5): Smelly Hotel - The hotel was run down and the entire hotel, including the rooms had a very strong and strange smell. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel probably due to the smell. The staff were nice.
- young sun (6/5): - In general, the Hotel need remodeling, out dated..
- hyong su (10/5): - Ok
- Verania (10/5): - always so generous and attentive.
- Christine (10/5): Great return visit - This is probably my 8th time staying at this hotel over the last 7 years.
The previous trip, it was looking a bit run down, but still clean, safe and affordable. This trip, it seemed a bit nicer. I heard they were remodeling some of the rooms so that is an improvement! Still a clean, safe and affordable hotel where we feel like home each time we visit LA. The rooms are huge and AC works well.
We found our room cleaned each day no matter what time we left the room and returned.
We love that you can watch Youtube and Netflix on the TV. This a huge enjoyment factor for our family.
We also love that the hotel is walkable to many of the Korean businesses we like to frequent when in town.
These are the reasons this is our favorite hotel when in LA.
- Lap (6/5): - Need better wifi.
- ILGOO (6/5): Won’t recommend - Carpet, furniture, bath tub, curtain, and so on is all worn, out dated and water temp isn’t consistent.
Staffs are not friendly. Won’t recommend
- Yoon (8/5): - This is an old hotel but kept in a good condition. It was clean and the staff was nice. Only thing missing is breakfast and dining option.
- Sun (8/5): - Good location and cost effective
- Kelly (8/5): - It's nice being in walking distance from a lot of places in Ktown.
- Neelam (6/5): - Property is very old and have old carpet smell. Exhaust was broken in bathroom. AC didn’t work the first day. Overall not a great experience so would never recommend
- Jin (10/5): - Overall, my experience was great.
- Maritza (10/5): - A perfect place to stay for any upcoming concerts. My three nights here for the Ateez concert were easy to find transportation and get home safely and the doors were always open and someone in front. It was nice to know I was arriving at a safe neighborhood in koreatown. The breakfast and many dining options were amazing ! Will for sure be coming back. Thank you for the amazing stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place. I will stay at this hotel again later.
- Joleen (8/5): Decent Hotel - Stayed here for the weekend to attend a kpop concert at BMO. It was a good price for the location and they have free parking secured with gates and an attendant at night. Beds were comfy and room was clean for an older hotel. Found a little creature crawling in the bathroom, but the staff was super nice and accomodating about it. Everyone who works at this hotel is super nice. If you're a kpop fan, this hotel is centrally located between all the major kpop stores so it is a quick walk to all the restaurants and shopping. Neighborhood is sketchy but I definitely felt safe staying here.
- sean (10/5): - Received a great service and front desk staff were very helpful.
- Ashley (10/5): - Service was phenomenal and a great location.
- Kellie (10/5): Dated hotel but very clean - Courteous staff. Rooms are very clean but also very dated. The hotel could definitely use some updating. No complaints about the stay though. Walking distance to The Wiltern. Free parking is always a plus. Will book here again.
- Kandice (10/5): - I love that there is no parking fee and that it is walkable to a lot of good food places and shopping in the area.
- Kyndra (8/5): Clean and convenient - Very simple hotel and little outdated, but it doesn’t matter because it’s clean! Free parking is nice too!
- WARREN (8/5): - I had a good stay. Not a 4star hotel but clean enough. Staff is great, front desk and housekeeping. I'll stay here again. And it's great because they have their own free parking.
- Paul (8/5): - general service and condition was good
- Yasutaka (8/5): - The elevates broken. And poor morning.
- Winnie (10/5): - Called front desk for help on one night and support arrived quickly. Convenient walking distance from food. Underground self-parking and mini-fridge are very nice.
- Earl (8/5): - No ice machine.
Room door opens outward.
- Sangjik (10/5): - Very quiet and clean room
- Kum S (6/5): - Room furniture is too old and the bathroom sink need repair and replace
- Nikesh Kumar (2/5): - Bathroom door doesn’t work, AC doesn’t work, they lock your keys at the end of the day even when you pay and stay for more than a day.
Elevators don’t work. No toothbrush and paste.
Very bad. I highly don’t recommend it.
- Louis (10/5): Nice Hotel in Koreantown, LA - Great palace to stay, welcoming, friendly staff, clean room, quiet, great parking sacce and spacious. No swimming pool but i wasn't looking for one.
- ILKAB (10/5): - Convenient to access stores and restaurants in K town.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked he area with access to a variety places to eat. The discomfort was from there being no fan in bathroom which turned into a sauna room after showering.
- April S (4/5): - Free parking which is great! Nice staff! But absolutely need an upgrade for this hotel, no gym, no pools, and the toilet was clogged, toilet water flooded the entire bathroom, there’s also no razors. It’s just over all 4-5/10 for me.
- M (8/5): - .
- Shawna (8/5): - Area around the hotel was very sketchy with homeless encampments. Room was nice hallways had a bad smell. Easy parking.
- Shakti (2/5): - I’ll try to be as nice as possible but the hotel sucked. Only 2 young guy and girl who were at the desk were nice everything else was just bad. broken sink in the washroom. Terrible service. Asked them for water and they said they can’t provide me as the service desk is closed. When i was checking out i forgot my water bottle in the room and i asked an old guy as the front desk to help me get it and before i started talking to him he was screaming at someone else and also didn’t understand much English. I was getting late for my bus and uber was almost at the hotel and i asked that guy to get the bottle for me as i didn’t have my keys cus i checked out and i said room number 310 and without even double checking he went to room 510 and entered that room and a lady got mad at him and he get down in the lobby and i was sitting on the couch and he started shouting on me and screamed at me that come here because of you i went into someones room and then started shouting on me and saying wrong stuff. Then there comes the other lady that works at the desk and this guy is still shouting at me and then i just stopped talking to him and i asked the other lady if you have cameras which ofc you do you can check out that i didn’t say 5th floor i said 3rd floor. Then she asked me my room number again and she helped me get the water bottle. Why all of this cause they’ll not give me water bottle at 8 am in the morning even if i am ready to pay there’s so much more but words are limited.
- Asa (10/5): - The staff is super kind and I appreciated the complimentary water bottles each day. The walls are pretty thin so bring earplugs!
- Inock (8/5): - Good
- Michihito (8/5): - Self-parking was free and safe place.
- Joseph (6/5): - ATolilet sink not working to drain.
- Joseph (8/5): - Surrounding area a little run down.
- Joon (6/5): - Good
- Maria (10/5): - The staff was really friendly
- Lianna (10/5): - Clean, quiet, friendly staff. Excellent deal for your money.
- Tony (10/5): - Amazing hotel
- Daeil (6/5): - Hotel is no longer provide Body Lotion and Hair Conditioner that were provided before.
Hotel bed mat is old type hard spring base, feeling like sleeping in the air, making my low back painful
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Beds are super uncomfortable and the hotel rooms are very dated.
- Fernando (10/5): - Really nice
Parking was so easy and convenient
Staff was super friendly
The soosa sushi restaurant was t ally good
- Dianne Jules (8/5): - Self free parking was the best amenity. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. Would go here again. It is a little far to the areas we want to get to in ktown like the clubs/bars but it was a great stay experience overall
- Beatriz (6/5): - It needs some remodeling for the interior hallways and rooms. The elevator needs to be updated and maintained. It made a horrible noise when getting on and off.
- Jason (8/5): First getaway - Hotel is very nice alittle out dated but nice. The room was very comfortable the staff very friendly. All in all a nice place to stay for the weekend.
- Maleah (10/5): - Staff is very kind.
