Mike reached out to confirm details about our booking. He was still in the office when we checked in and went out of his way to explain the amenities in town. Mike recapped some of the best dining choices as well as how to get to each. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and an awesome breakfast per his recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

We didn't have our dog this time, but on the last visit, plenty of field space to let the dog run. Very convienent to the town of Skeneatles, less than a 5 minute drive to get there. Was very quiet, rural atmosphere.

Now a destination rather than a stop as you go by. Very convenient to local community with parking options at companion boutique hotel.

The location - just a couple miles outside of downtown Skaneateles - is ideal for us too. The higher-numbered bungalows in the back are quieter (no road noise), but the front ones a fine too. Always clean, and the staff is always friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

- Anne (10/5): Girls weekend getaway - Stayed at the cottage house with family members for a weekend. The house was clean and well stocked with goodies for the morning, snacks, drinks, coffee and cream. Bathrooms were clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The cozy corner fireplace was lovely especially on a dreary, rainy fall day. Very close to town. Had no trouble getting Ubers when we didn't want to drive.

- Jill (8/5): skinny/atlas - We drove here for a romantic getaway after driving our child to school in Ithaca and the hotels in that area were astronomical move in week. We wanted a small personal inn or BnB and chose this for a variety of reasons but we didn’t know it was near a wonderful town. Turns out the town was the best part!! I completely recommend Skenateles. Mike at the Inn was welcoming, personal and gave us spot on recommendations. The units are private bungalows or duplexes. The private ones are on the road side and you do hear the trucks during the day from your patio but not at all at night. The unit was large, well equipped and comfortable but I do have a few suggestions/minor complaints. The kitchenette could be slightly better equipped, the chairs on the patio are very uncomfortable and a small table out there would go a long way It seems that housekeeping at hotels has changed as this is my third place this summer that only replaced towels and toiletries but did no cleaning on a short trip. For such a thorough check in, this should have been mentioned and I wouldn’t have been upset when I came in. Also I think the tip envelopes are tacky but that’s just me. Overall great place. .
- Thomas (10/5): Outstanding Experience - We have stayed at this motel before and were very pleased. The office was very helpful at check-in by providing us a zip-lock bag of extra ice that we could easily store in our refrigerator. We find their individual cottages very easy to access. We both have difficulty walking and can navigate the two small steps from the parking space to the room. The suites are spacious, clean and well-decorated. We plan to return.

We were shocked to see these were not nineteen rooms, but rather bungalows! Not what we expected. Would not go back, especially at that price!

The living room had a gas fireplace which we used and was lovely. There were two porches, one off the main door and one off the larger bedroom. There were complimentary snacks too. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and we brought our dog who loved the bigger space.

- Elizabeth (10/5): A wonderful getaway! - Our stay here was wonderful. The room was clean, and welcoming, there were complimentary snacks and drinks in the room. The rubber ducky on the hot tub was so adorable. My boyfriend even took advantage of the romanctic winter atmosphere and proposed!!!

- Edward (10/5): - It was quiet and safe and was bigger and had more amenities than I expected. It was more like an efficiency than a room, which was a very pleasant surprise. It was super clean and every inch of the room was up to date!

- Richard (10/5): Yes! - Spacious and clean. Great place for our dog with green fields right out the door. Staff was very friendly. Our only problem was that the directions gps on our reservation confirmation sent us to the wrong location, sane name, same company, different location - but that was quickly straightened out. We will stay here again
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely Motor Court - This is a lovely motor court that has been completely renovated and updated. The bungalow was clean and well equipped. They even provided us with a few breakfast items. The little kitchenette had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. I do wish we had chosen a jacuzzi suite as it was further back on the property and away from the traffic noise. However, there was no heavy traffic and virtually none at night.

- Edward (10/5): - I liked the private area you access from the patio door at the back of the unit, which lets you be outside, and see much of the grounds, but there is a wall dividing from the next unit so you have privacy. The staff was so welcoming and helpful and friendly.
