Gute Zimmerausstattung und viele zusätzliche Möglichkeiten wie Fitnessgeräte und eine Poolanlage Die Klimaanlage machte während des Betriebs starke Geräusche. Nachdem wir dies an der Rezeption gemeldet hatten, wurde sofort ein Techniker geschickt, welcher den Mangel beseitigt hat.

Le monsieur du check-in nous a proposé une chambre plus grande sans coût supplémentaire. Nous avons vraiment apprécié ce geste. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas un choix plus large pour les repas mais il y a des supérettes à proximité.

Alot of things to do in the hotel and just around the area. Must stay for those going to the Polynesian Cultural Centre and those staying around North Shore. Aircon wasn't working by the two last days and made it uncomfortable to sleep in
• Herly (9/5): Highly Recommend! Beyond a family friendly hotel, it is an experience. - Ideal for visiting PCC, Laie Temple and visitor center, local beach and local food. Classes: Ukulele, lei and necklace making. Extra towels, clean, great front desk. It may just be me but, the pillows were to flimsy, no support even using 2, neck pain, affecting breathing.

The family in the room above us was up very late at night and very early in the morning. It sounded like elephants stampeding. We asked to move if possible and were told all the rooms had noise issues on our floor. It was very hard to sleep.

Due to the Kona low storm we had no power for 2 days and as a result no amenities such as pool or hot tub and the worst was no hot showers. I feel like a partial refund should be due. Or a discounted future stay.
• Brooke (3/5): A mediocre hotel in an excellent location. - A rain storm was expected and the hotel had a lot of games for kids to play. The staff friendliness was a mixed bag, some were very nice and professional, but some were the exact opposite. The swimming pool was small but nice and the staff there exceptional. Location next to the cultural center is ideal, if you plan to visit. In the morning no free coffee. $4 for a cup of coffee out of a thermos. Free WiFi was not free even though it was so advertised, television was not free although it was advertised as such.
• K7513QZscottc (10/5): One of my favorite hotels to stay at - This is one of my favorite hotels. Not only is it located in one of the most beautiful spots on earth, but it's got an amazing staff as well. It's located a five-minute walk from the Polynesian Cultural Center, which is an incredible place to visit. And it regularly features amazing cultural classes, like Aunty Kela Miller teaching the ukulele and hula nearly every morning. She's a local legend. When we were there, we also were treated to a "Talk Story" entertainment night, where Eddie Maiava and others (including Kap from the PCC) performed music and dance right in the conference room by the front desk. Everyone associated with the hotel does such a great job making your stay excellent. The atmosphere, it goes without saying, is amazing. There is a beautiful beach just steps away across the street. The rooms are great, the showers are really good, and the beds are comfortable. The cleaning staff even leave little gifts of chocolate macademian nuts on the bed every day. I love it here and can't wait to come again.

He didn't even seem to mind that I was the only one there for it at that time. I felt very valued as a guest and person! The Cafe seemed quite expensive for not a lot of food. What we did get tasted okay though.
• Catherine (1/5): Way too expensive for the location, facilities and service. - nothing The iron in the closet fell on my husband’s foot when he took out the blanket on the shelf above. The view from the window was onto the highway a few feet away and the pedestrian sidewalk was even closer so anyone passing by could look in. The windows did not open so couldn’t get any fresh air. We could hear the kids running and jumping on the floor above us. The staff was not very friendly - very much like automats. They charged extra for parking and for a very simple breakfast, and the room rate was very expensive for the location, facilities and accessories.

The lobby also has tons of seating and hang out areas. Rooms are clean and convenient. Loved walking across the street to the peaceful beach for sunrise. Great location for being in the jungle area as opposed to the city of Honolulu. Five stars for this impressive and affordable hotel.

It was a family friendly hotel with a lot of board games, pickleball court, yard games and swimming pool. Great location and a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again!

• sandiablonde (8/5): good rooms but no view - Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice view. Breakfast was decent but nothing special. Pool very nice and has a hot tub. Problem is those people who think that the hot tub belongs to them alone and hog the whole thing for hours. This place sits in the middle of an outdoor mall which is nice because lots of restaurants nearby but no view at all and parking can be difficult.

Ausserdem gibt es Workshops im Hotel (Ukuele, Hula, usw), welche besucht werden können und toll sind. Im Zimmer war es sehr kalt und man konnte das Fenster nicht öffnen. Wir waren bereits etwas angeschlagen, als wir eingecheckt haben und mit der Kälte im Zimmer wurde dies sehr schnell schlimmer. Das Zimmer war sehr teuer. Das Hotel ist zwar schön und das Personal sehr nett, doch trotzdem finde ich den Preis zu hoch.

This means that there are many food and shopping options within 5 minutes' walk. The pool is very nice and there are fun facilities like a pickeball court, volleyball, basketball etc. Also free cultural activities every day. Limited food options inside the hotel. Also bear in mind, for drinkers, that it is a dry hotel and a dry town so there is no alcohol.

Each staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly! They have made the most of the property grounds with lovely seating areas, wonderful pool area and lawn games. The lobby area has a great living room feel to gather with friends and family. The rooms were clean and we appreciated the unique layout of our room with a king and 2 bunk beds!! If you are heading to north shore definitely stay here!

• Simone (8/5): Beautiful location, nice pool area, relaxing and comfortable! - It was an excellent location, right next to the Polynesian cultural center which was convenient to come back to after the luau. The room was comfortable and clean. The hot tub was nice and the pool area had nice seating available. Very close to a lot of the North Shore restaurants and beaches. Nothing really.

• christinediaslmhc (10/5): Absolutely Amazing - This is our 4th visit to Hawaii and 3rd at this hotel. I travel a lot and this is the absolute best hotel experience I have ever had! The hotel is clean with great amenities and an amazing staff from the desk to the cleaning staff to the restaurant. They are incredibly friendly and will do whatever is in their ability to accommodate your needs.

• lokanata (10/5): Excellent stay - The location of this property to the Polynesian Cultural Center wins it for us. We stayed here for 2 nights, to thoroughly enjoyed the Center. The Center would really need a 3 day trip if you would really want to enjoy every activity they have to offer. This is also a great base to explore Eastern Oahu as well as the Kualoa Ranch. We came around 11AM. We were assisted by a very bubbly and kind gentleman. Check in was smooth and quick. The room was not ready and we were told that they would notify us via the apps once the room was available. They made the room available at 1PM. Woohoo. The room was a little bit dated but comfortable. The room was spacious and immaculately maintained. Their 2 double sized beds will be perfect for family of four. The bathroom was nice with basic amenities provided. We slept like babies. The pillows, linen and bed felt nice and fresh. Overall, an excellent stay, and we would not hesitate to come back the next time we hit the North Shore. Do not forget to enjoy their beach, just across the street, via their private pathway. Do not forget also to check out Giovanni's at the Kahuku food truck areas.

Very comfortable a d fabulous decide through hotel , classy and chic . We had Excellent staff - truly ! Friendly and so professional . Great little bistro , and coffee. Right across from beach with affordable rentals for surf boards etc. simply fantastic outdoor area & parking is right there . So many gorgeous cozy areas outside & very private and relaxing . We were sooo impressed . Would be perfect for families .

• Mark (9/5): - Good location, good facilities, helpful staff. Very expensive for what it is! Then to charge $20 per day for parking on top is taking the proverbial. It’s not an inner city area where space for parking is at a premium! Parking charge feels like gouging.

I recommend the Hotel especially for a visit in the PCC. - The Hotel has an amazing location, right next to the PCC which is a must do when in Oahu. The pooal area is fascinating we loved it with our 3 year old. The building is clean with a chill Hawaiian vibe. We also liked the beach that was right the other side of the road. Only downside is the alcohol free policy but we kew it in advance and did not dissapoint us to much.

• krewerka (10/5): Country life ocean side - Serene country life with access to open beaches, hiking and the North shore. The very opposite of Waikiki! Large spacious rooms, easy parking, luxury and a large pool. And the perfect beaches walking distance away!!! Empty of people, views for miles and near amenities. We come here for 5 days every time we come to the islands. Just to relax, swim my and hang out on the north shore. No night life, no open alcohol, and very quiet. ( unless there is a school group here and then!!!! Energy abounds).

Close to things like dole plantation, PCC, great beaches Breakfast set up was odd, yum, but odd set up with what you can get and what makes a meal.

• Susanne (7/5): Viel Platz aber kein Frühstücksbuffet und schlechte Luft - Gefallen hat uns die Größe des Zimmers und der viele Platz um das Hotel herum. Es gibt innen und außen viele Sitzmöglichkeiten sowie Parkplätze (allerdings kostenpflichtig). Die Deko ist schön und alles war sauber. Da es im Norden der Insel kaum Hotels gibt, würde ich in diesem Marriot wieder absteigen. Es gibt kein Frühstück für 9€ pro Person, wie bei Booking angegeben. Für ein Frühstück an der Theke haben wir 45€ für 2 Personen/Tag ausgegeben für 2xSandwich, 1 Kaffee, 1 Saft. Dieses war am Counter zu bestellen und teilweise bildeten sich längere Schlangen, da nur 1 Schalter. Im Zimmer war die Luft nur bei laufender Klimaanlage erträglich, welche aber nur ab 75 Grad F. und darunter ansprang. Ansonsten bildete sich in kurzer Zeit ein meicheliger Geruch. Dh. man hatte die Wahl zwischen Kälte oder schlechtem Geruch. Fenster liessen sich leider nicht öffnen.

We do not like having the air con in the room having to be run continuously without getting any fresh air. Wish the rooms had a balcony. We cut the stay short by 2 nights.

It was right across the street from a nice sandy beach. The bed was way too soft. There was no full service restaurant in the facility. The windows do not open.

It’s right next to the Polynesian cultural center and BYU Hawaii if visiting there so that’s convenient. Also not far to things on the north and east shores of Oahu. It’s a pretty location. Pool isn’t huge but nice. Not too crowded like Waikiki which I enjoy. Not beachfront but can walk across the street to the beach. I recommend this hotel if visiting the PCC or the north shore of Oahu, The rooms are nice and had a big roomy bathroom. A lot bigger bathroom than other hotels we stayed in in Hawaii. Nice hotel.

• 365nunob (2/5): Avoid this hotel – scams and dishonesty! - I have stayed in more than 500 hotels around the world, and this was by far the worst experience. I booked my stay through a tour operator, but upon check-in the hotel forced me to pay the full amount again, claiming they had not received the payment. The next day, after my complaint to the operator, the hotel admitted the mistake and promised to refund me within two days. First it was “2 days,” then “7–10 days.” Now it has been over 20 days and I still have not received my money back. This is not just bad service – it is unacceptable behavior and feels like a scam. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to stay away.
