Steve Hulme (10/5): Amazing stay. - Wow what a lovely place! Super beautiful B&B but oh so much more. Liz was an absolute pleasure to meet and deal with and makes a breakfast to die for! Bedroom was large, spotless, beautifully appointed and with a bed that felt like we were floating on air. 30 mins walk into centre of Halifax, really nice quiet location. Nothing at all.

The house is very tastefully furnished, the hosts are very warm and friendly. The breakfast is prepared by individual arrangement and is simply wonderful! In particular, we benefited from the excellent recommendations for excursions in the surrounding area. We say "thank you" again and would love to come back... Everything fine…
Lynne (10/5): This is the only place to book in Halifax!! - The room was so comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed the sitting room. Liz, the proprietor was so friendly and welcoming. Next time I come to Halifax I’m staying at The Pebble Bed and Breakfast! You will not be disappointed. Oh, by the way, the breakfast’s were so scrumptious!! Nothing, everything was a 10!

Joey (10/5): I have never been to Halifax, but if I ever go back, it will definitely be here at the Pebble!! - The location was superb, and the house was so beautiful. But to be honest, the best part of the property was the host, Elizabeth! Everything was perfect!
Jack (10/5): - Staying at the pebble for our first time was truly a blessing. For ease, let us list some of the important items upfront. The home is beautiful, beds are comfortable, luxurious bathrooms, breakfasts were local, fresh and incredibly delicious (we are foodies - you can’t get breakfast like this other places) and the neighborhood is adorable / perfectly located for visiting Halifax and other popular sights. Our room also had water views. The showers were a treat, with plenty of space, great water pressure, and high-end Molten & Brown products. Our room was also refreshed each day with fresh pressed linens like at a five star hotel. It quickly became clear to us how much love and care has gone into both the home itself and also the experience of staying there. We enjoyed the social areas out on the patio in the morning and in the living room at night beside the complimentary bar, browsing through a wide selection of cool books. Now for some of the intangibles. My wife and I are pretty social, which Liz must have picked up on quickly having hosted many people over the years. So we got to know her and David on the first day over some homemade scones / jam and freshly brewed tea. We left the pebble feeling like we found a home in Halifax and having made two new friends. There are so many subtle touches about this place it’d be hard to express it all in words, but in short we highly recommend it for anyone and hope to visit again in the future!

Noleen (10/5): - I cannot say enough good things about this place. It's absolutely beautiful, the bathroom in our suite was to die for! The bed was really comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The neighbourhood is really quiet and it's a stones throw from the water. The breakfast was delicious and they went out of their way to cater to my many food allergies. The hosts are just the nicest people. So thoughtful and friendly. The place is emaculate. They have put so much thought and care into this B&B. My only complaint is that we only booked one night! It's the perfect spot to get away from it all. We will absolutely be back!
Robert (10/5): Highly recommended - Liz and David provide excellent hospitality. We enjoyed our breakfast discussions with Liz about Ireland and the history of Halifax. There was a variety of breakfast meals that Liz prepared each morning. The Pebble is spotless and the rooms are spacious with a separate sitting area and bedroom. Wifi is included. It is situated for easy access from the airport (40 min) and into Halifax. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Halifax.
Verified traveler (10/5): - We typically stay in 4 to 5 star hotels but would definitely book the same place if we go back to Halifax. You cannot find such a good breakfast in any 5 star hotels. More importantly, the hosts make you feel like you are visiting old friends.
