Un séjour bien trop court de seulement deux nuits dans la sérénité de la campagne toscane à 15mn de Firenze. Nous reviendrons pour rester et profiter plus longtemps, c'est absolument certain. Il est à noter que l'ensemble des personnes avec qui nous avons interagi ont été très amicales. Une mention spéciale pour la dame du petit-déjeuner, calme et souriante.

I visited for 3 days with my friends to celebrate my birthday, and they gifted me their own house wine for this special occasion and personally wished me a happy birthday, which was of course completely unexpected and not at all obligatory. L’unica pecca è che fosse non troppo tenuta bene, avrebbe bisogno di una rinnovata e forse non è all’altezza del resto della struttura.

• Eric (10/5): A winter Honeymoon in the Tuscan / Florence region of Italy ! - The staff was. So. Welcoming, and eager to assist us with our stay from the moment we arrived. Ilaria. Was fantastic with our initial arrival. She explained everything clearly, and she gave us several options for dinner nearby, as well as how to navigate Florence. The next morning, we also received excellent advice from Denise. She sent us several key pieces of information via WhatsApp, and this gave us additional insight for our time in Florence and the surrounding area of Tuscany. Monica ( spelling ? ), gave us an amazing wine taste, complete with exceptional education on the grapes, and the wine making process!! Alessandro, and Lorenzo were so friendly and kind, and instrumental in our wine purchase and shipping process. An amazing time in Tuscany. !!

• Qiangyu (10/5): Too short! :) - Every single thing!! The location is perfect for exploring Tuscany and Grassina has great restaurants. We stayed in the La Torre Villas and it was breathtakingly beautiful! Breakfast was delicious and they were so kind to put up with us showing up 5-10 minutes before it ended. Our suite had everything we could have needed: washer/dryer, dishwasher, espresso AND drip coffee machine, dual showers, dual sink vanities, lovely toiletries products…sublime! We did a tour and wine tasting/charcuterie with Alessandro and it was amazing. We learned so much and had amazing wine and food. Our stay couldn’t have been better. What a magical place! Can’t wait to come back :) Just that we had to leave ;)

Külön köszönet Katia - nak a finom reggelikért és kedvességéért. A szoba nagyon tiszta volt, a közösségi terek kényelmesek, családias nyugodt hangulat jellemzi. Bookingon keresztüli foglaláskor számunkra nem derült ki, hogy a képeken is szereplő főépület és a panorámára néző nagy kert sem használható illetve látogatható. Ez egy privát része a helynek és csak külön befizetett látogatás keretében vezetnek körbe. Az élményből elvesz, hogy a vágyott és a képeken látott panoráma nem elérhető.

Cependant bien dommage qu’il n’y a pas de bon restaurant à proximité, il faut prendre la voiture et aller sur Florence si on veut bien manger car les restaurants du village le plus proche ne sont pas top du tout (après c’est mon avis personnel car nous aimons bien manger sainement, de bon produit, que le restaurant soit chic et propre) hors vu les photos des restaurants du village j’ai un énorme doute. Un soir, nous avons fait livrer une pizza car nous ne voulions pas sortir. On est comme à la maison, une grande maison de vacances. Que 5 chambres du coup on est tranquille.

Оперативно решали наши запросы по ходу проживания. Классные виды вокруг. Приятный завтрак. Бассейн произвел удручающее впечатление. То ли он старый, то ли не очень ухоженный. Лежаки - тоже не очень комфортные. Плохо работал душ, который к сожалению не смогли починить. Ограниченное количество столовых приборов - на 4 персоны.
• Jessica (9/5): Voortreffelijk!! - Wat een prachtige plek en omgeving! Hier kom je echt niks te kort. Mooie villa met tuin en zwembad met uitzicht! Je bent in 20 minuten met de auto in Florence. Je kan gebruik maken van de gezamenlijke keuken als je zelf wilt koken, een restaurant zit er niet echt in de nabije omgeving. Koffie en thee kon je onbeperkt pakken en vaak staat er zelfs nog een taart klaar. Er is een koelkast speciaal voor gasten. Je kon ook gebruik maken van de wasmachine en droger. Ontbijtbuffet was ook prima. Het zwembad was prima maar wel aan vervanging toe of het moet beter schoongemaakt worden. Er loopt een kat van de buren rond die steeds kwam schooien.. Dat vond ik minder vanwege mijn allergie. Ook de hond van de buren die maar bleef blaffen in de ochtend... Maar daar kan het hotel weinig aan doen.

• Robert (4/5): would never stay here again, glad our stay was only 2 days, wish it was less. - breakfast decent, but nothing particular authentic or special, it got us by and started. other guys during our stay were abit loud, there is virtually no sound proofing, you heard everything (read into that as you will), we complained to staff, they listened, but things did not improve. pillows hard as rocks, bed very firm and between this and other guests noises, we did not sleep well either night which then made our days challenging because of general fatique. hotel management should have done something to counter balance our issues, but did nothing. the location is remote and we are used to all types of travel and locations living in europe 6 months of the year in the s. of france very close to monaco. we thought we would get a tuscan countryside feel at this location short of renting out own villa, but that did not happen at-all. they did, upon specific asking, allowed us a 5 min. tour of the grounds so we could see the land around, but we felt we almost had to beg for even that. we had a very tiny view from our room, but there is a high surrounding wall making any views and that private villa experience not possible. quite disappointing. the drive back from dinner each evening to on a very, very narrow road with little street lights from florence I would not recommend to any traveler unless you have alot of experience in such driving (we do). how tight was the road, enough to scratch the mirror on our car from a local resident driving opposite direction too fast. it was that or go into the ditch on the side of the road. there are better options elsewhere and I personally counted on some of the other reviews in my decision to stay here and having been there, do not agree with all of those reviews and level of satisfaction. writing this with 127 trips to europe of experience over the past 34 years... I would have rather paid double elsewhere and been happy and gotten the real experience and if they offered a free stay I would not accept the offer. see above. ps. all close by to hotel restaurants were not at all acceptable unless you were local village italians. we were min. 25-35 min. drive into florence for our meals each evening and the drive back after dinner and alittle wine is not recommended given the remote location of this property.
• Maria (7/5): Good - Perfect location and polite staff. Unfortunately the toilet was very old (could be replaced) and the shower room had mold on the wall and the tiles. The breakfast was too simple regarding the price paid.
• Maria (4/5): Disappointing - Nice location and helpful staff. The a/c suddenly stopped working during the night (in both bedrooms).Also, while using the one toilet, the water start leaking in the second bathroom… Finally, we woke up at 4am due to a barking dog at the villa.

The tranquility of the location, surrounded by lush vineyards and olive groves, made for an incredibly relaxing experience. The proximity to Florence was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the city while returning to the serenity of the villa each evening. A special mention goes to Katia, who made our stay even more delightful. She is incredibly warm and welcoming, and she brought the same sense of hospitality to the breakfast table each morning. Her thoughtful touch made every meal feel special. We also had the pleasure of participating in the wine and olive oil tasting. The experience was not only delicious but also informative, allowing us to learn about the local products in a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend Villa Medicea di Lilliano for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to Florence and the surrounding countryside. It was the perfect blend of relaxation, hospitality, and beauty. If you're planning to enjoy local restaurants outside of Florence, I highly recommend renting a car. It was difficult to fully experience the area without one, as taxis weren't readily available for trips to local spots, and the villa’s on-property dining options were limited during our stay, especially on Easter. I was hopeful for a local recommendation, but despite asking for assistance in securing a reservation, there wasn't much follow-through. Unfortunately, this led us to drive into Florence late at night in search of a meal, as we couldn't find a place to eat or a taxi to take us. It would have been helpful if the villa had informed us of these challenges in advance, so we could have planned accordingly.

• Cherese (9/5): Highly recommend! - It was such an amazing stay with the best tour and wine tasting. To get to either town you need to drive which is not ideal if you want to drink. But to walk is a 25 min walk as there are no taxis available.

I would definitely recommend to all friends and family and anyone who wants an authenti - The property was stunning and our villa looked exactly like pictured. Immaculate, very comfortable beds and well stocked. The staff is kind, very helpful, and friendly. Customer service is the best we’ve ever experienced!!! We had a few issues, but the staff rectified them all promptly. I’m definitely giving the property a five star review because of the beauty of the property and the extremely accommodating staff who addressed every single problem we had. The staff and the grounds are excellent.

• Ariane (10/5): Exceptional - It was just fantastic. The accommodation itself is beautiful. It is very close to Florence - but in quiet surrounding within beautiful nature. You can see the stars and night and hear the birds outside. The views are spectacular. The whole team staff is staff was great and extremely kind and accommodating to us. We had vegan and gluten free options for breakfast. A fantastic stay and we hope to be back soon!
• Simon (7/5): Amazing wine tour and tasting. But rooms are not near the main house. - Location of the main house was exceptional. The property we stayed in was some way away from the main house. Our room was directly next to a road, so the car noise was disturbing. There was no reference to this during the booking procedure. Had I known, I would not have booked the accommodation.
• Freya (10/5): A wonderful relaxing stay in a beautiful Tuscan villa - We really loved our stay here. We came for 2 nights during our honeymoon and we're so glad we made the trip out of Florence for it. All the staff were wonderful, great at communication prior to the stay and very friendly, helpful and professional during our time there. Our room was also lovely, really spacious, comfy bed and a massive bathroom with 2 showers, bath, double sinks. They left us a bottle of wine and a lovely note which was such a sweet gesture! Beautiful views out the windows to the rolling tuscan hills. We had a room with communal kitchen which they also serve breakfast from. We cooked on 1 of the nights and although the equipment was basic, we managed to make tasty meal. The breakfasts were good, we are both vegan and they got special vegan things in for us which we really appreciated. The grounds are gorgeous, we loved sitting out on the lawn or at the table to have lunch or evening drinks, just so peaceful and serene. The pool was a nice addition, it wasn't super hot during our stay and the pool was cold, so we only used it once and there were quite a few mosquitos! In the warmer months I'm sure it's lovely and refreshing! We took a lovely long walk around the area, they provided us with a map and it was such a highlight. We passed so amazing views, all the vineyards and olive groves. We didn't have a car so we just explored the local area. We stopped in a local town called Grassina during our walk for a drink, and we walked back into the town later on for a really really delicious dinner! A car might be useful if you're staying longer than a couple of nights, but we found it easy enough to get from Florence in a taxi and walk whilst we were there. We also did oe of the vineyard tours and wine tasting up on the estate and if was such a memorable experience so would recommend booking something whilst you're there! Mosquitoes/bugs by the pool. Maybe some additional more lounge seating in the communal garden area would be nice for when you want to enjoy being outside and taking in all the lovely views. The chairs and tables that were there were great for meals but not super comfy for relaxing for longer periods of time - the sun loungers by the pool were good but as I mentioned there were mosquitos so we didn't feel like spending too much time there.

The villa Torre and the main villa whit the gardens and winery was amazing, you can’t miss a wine tour when you are staying here. The staff made it even more perfect, the service and the help. Especially by Paula! They were friendly, helpful and full of knowledge about the place and surroundings. I wish I had an extended stay and I will definitely come back. Nothing bad to say! But I recommend having a car or transportation to make the trips to the countryside even more enjoyable

Lovely hosts❤️ In some rooms the bath was not privet (a bath in the room not separating from living room). Some taps was broken and water didn’t run properly.
• Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - The grounds were amazing! The villas are a little ways away from the reception, but we didn’t have a car, and it was not a problem…. The crew took care of us. Our every request was just a text away. They taxi’d us from the reception to our room, handled all of our food requests, and hand delivered bottles of wine to our room when we asked. The service was truly unparalleled. Our villa was beautiful, breakfast each morning was included in the cost of the stay and was delicious, and the pool was as serene as any I’ve experienced back in the states. I 10/10 recommend! We booked a wine tour through the Melichinni estates, and the experience was phenomenal. Giovanni was our guide, and he exceeded all expectations!
