Guest Reviews
- mark (10/5): - The location was perfect for exploring Strasboug. Hôtel was spacious, updated and lovely
- Heike (6/5): - great location. Room was in first floor, yet felt like a basement room with window looking against a wall and very low ceiling
- Rachel (10/5): - We had a great stay. The staff were excellent and we would recommend. There is a hotel and spa and also separate pavilion area nearby.
- Richard (10/5): Staying in Strasbourg? STAY HERE! - What a stunning and beautiful location!
WOW!
- Amar (8/5): - Right in the heart of Petite France. Building looks amazing from outside and fits in well with the surroundings. It attracts a lot of attention from tourists and Tour guides. Inside, the room had a bit of a smaller / independent hotel vibe to it compared to what I would imagine at the main hotel building across the road. Some minor compromises to the fact you are staying in a historical building such as being able to hear passers by and average shower pressure were worth it in my opinion.
- Susan (10/5): - Our stay at Pavillion Regent was perfect. Everyone was so helpful. The room was quiet, and the most comfortable bed with a perfect location. I enjoyed the spa. A must if you enjoy saunas, jacuzzis after a lot of walking and travelling. Fatya gave us a tour of the ice museum. Very informative and an excellent host. We were sad to leave.
- Craig C (10/5): Staff was great and center of town - Wow! This place is literally the center of town. The river views and sites all around were amazing! The staff was second to known. They took care of anything you needed. The rooms were great and new. The breakfast was off the hook. You will find it all there. Walking to everything in town within 10-15 mins tops.
- Steven (10/5): Perfect location in Petite-France Strasbourg - Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Center of Petite-France, Strasbourg, with an attentive, warm welcoming staff. From our arrival to departure the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, supportive when we needed help (finding a restaurant or museum or boat trip and ESPECIALLY dealing with an errant ATM or a left-behind item). There is so much to see and experience in the Strasbourg Alsace region, from the wonderful museum to the inner city to the historical background to the European Parliament, and the Regent is in the middle of it all. Breakfast Buffet is expensive and not a great value compared to what’s available in town, though the a la carte menu is certainly acceptable. We had never been to Strasbourg so being in the center of the old town was essential to our exploring and enjoying, especially since the weather did not cooperate - raining and windy most days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel to all who travel to this wonderful city at strategically located for exploration: in the Alsace French/German region of France.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Great location
- Robert (10/5): - It's hard to imagine a picturesquely located urban hotel than this one. It's in the middle of the historic Petite France district, and I was lucky to secure a room with a balcony that looked out on one of the Strasbourg's historic canals lined with beautiful houses. The room was generously sized and the hotel itself has an air of quiet luxury.
- Betty (10/5): - Both bell desk clerks, Sebastian, Johan and the front desk Marie were very helpful and super friendly. The pavilion stay was enjoyable. Merci beaucoup!
- John (10/5): Stunning - Our upgraded room was stunning, from the amenities to the service, and especially the view. This will be our go to place in Strasbourg in the future.
- Sandra (10/5): - Highly recommend! Our room was lovely, and spacious. Very well decorated. The staff wonderful. Every night they vame by offering a nice selection of teas, asked if you needed any more towels. Truly great service. The location was fanaticw, waking distance to lots of shops and great restaurants. Plenty to choose from fir whatever your taste.
Close enough to walk to the train station if you dont have heavy luggage. But just a 10 min walk. Very safe and beautiful surroundings. I have stayed in hotels all over tge world and it definitely one of my favorites. as
- Julius (10/5): - Our stay at Pavillon REGENT PETITE France was absolutely enchanting, with impeccable service, luxurious comfort, and a perfect blend of historic charm and modern elegance.
- Erin (10/5): - Charming property in the heart of Petite France. Modern, stylish and spacious room
- Ronald (10/5): - We stayed in the annex in room 351, beautiful room, very comfortable king bed, bathroom was large and the shower was amazing. Large windows that opened onto the canal. Would definitely stay and recommend this hotel when stay in straubourg.
- Jennifer (10/5): - I have stayed here twice now, and each time I have had a wonderful experience! I would stay here again!
- Donna (2/5): terrrible experience - communicaiton nightmare - supposedly we were given directions as to how to navigate around the construction- yes we were- it was in french. we missed our city tour due to waiting in the traffic deviation for over an hour. when the concierge assisted with the luggage and baggage in which we specifically told him not to touch he sat it down and a bottle of wine broke. we were very unhappy with the stay
- Gary (6/5): Strasbourg Visit - The location was very convenient for sightseeing from Petite France section. Be sure to arrange entrance to the hotel through the pedstrian only area by contacting the hotel days in advance for parking. Hotel staff were fantastic. We were told that we were upgraded to a nice room on the 3rd floor of the older hotel building. Unfortunately the elevator only went to the 2nd floor, which made it difficult transporting luggage. We did get staff help on the way in though. The upper floor room had sloped ceilings which hit a low point at the tub/shower. Could only take a bath or hand held shower.
- Scott (10/5): - The property was gorgeous and artistic and tucked in by a canal and historic buildings. Impressive site! Doing outside was waiting for some time to get processed into my room.. but the room of the lifesaver on a crowded night in Strasburg. There were literally no vacancies as the European Union was having their Parliament in session in Strasburg.. this room was a godsend and the property is super impressive
- Elizabeth Jane (10/5): Stunning rooms and location - The location of the hotel was exceptional, in the heart of Petite France but also peaceful. Our room, in the Pavillon annexe was stunning, spacious and well appointed with triple aspect views over the canals.
Things we loved- the room, the waterside terrace for drinks and breakfast, the views and the location. We had a meal in the restaurant which was memorably delicious.
Things that were more average- let me be clear, there was nothing bad at the hotel. It is very well run and charming. However, breakfast was less good. We arrived at 10am so on the later side, the food was a little cold and congealed, there were no menus and we only found out as we left ( by overhearing a waitress talking to other guests) that we could order specialist items like omelettes. The view from the terrace almost made up for it and we would certainly book to stay again without hesitation.
- Dania (10/5): Great location with great restaurant! - Stayed in one of the annex rooms, which was a good size and very convenient to the entire town. The hotel restaurant was fabulous.
- Matthew (10/5): - It does not get better than this in Strasbourg. Highly recommended
- Lo (10/5): - This place was lovely. Sitting right in the center of Le petite France, it had a beautiful view, lovely staff, and everything we needed. About a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, so make sure you can haul your luggage over cobblestone that far, but it’s worth the effort. This was the comfiest stay on our trip.
- Matthew (8/5): - This property is in the PERFECT location. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel wasn't overly busy during our stay so we were upgraded to a canal view room.
the bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. The only thing we had an issue with, which probably isn't the hotel's fault but the way they do things in Europe, is one night our room was too cold for our comfort and they told us they couldn't change the thermostat because they were on summer mode. But they accommodated us with a room heater and all was good. So just a blip in an otherwise perfect stay for three nights
- Melissa (10/5): - Amazing location, great view
- jacob (6/5): - Impatient staff members
- Yuri (8/5): - Good neighbourhood, European institutions, everything in close reach
- Michael (10/5): loved it - beautiful location, great hotel, wonderful stay
- John (10/5): Awesome experience in Strasbourg - Located right in Petite France, you can’t find a more charming location in Strasbourg! It’s a short 10 minute walk from the train station, although the hotel does offer onsite parking. The hotel restaurant is exceptional, we loved our meal there on the second night there. Rooms are new and modern, and everything is in excellent working order. Very clean, very comfortable. And the service was outstanding from our arrival to our departure. Highly recommend!

- Paul (10/5): Perfect location - The location was amazing. The service was unmatched and potentially the best service we’ve ever had. Our room was very large and had views of the town. The only drawback was the bathroom only had a tub with a wand instead of a shower
- Katherine (10/5): Wonderful stay - Very comfortable and beautiful building. We loved the location and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Would love to return!
- Sean (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic hotel! 5 stars!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing hotel, right in the middle of the waterways and conveniently located inside the old town. Truly a jem, worth a stay.
- Christine (10/5): Canal views - This hotel was in a great location with beautiful views of the canal. The room comfy and perfect for a couple. The staff was nice and accommodating. I would stay here again if the future brings back to Strasbourg.
- Gabriella (10/5): Wonderful hotel - We really loved this hotel. It's in the heart of Petite France. We've stayed in the Pavillion and one of the room on the 3rd floor. The room was nice and clean, bed was really comfy and the shower was just wonderful!
- Mark (10/5): - Incredible location and beautiful room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our room was amazing and we loved the view!
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Can’t beat the location. An easy 12 minute walk from the train station and numerous dining options.
- Ehud (10/5): - Friendly staff. Great room
- emilie (2/5): - This hotel sells « pavillon » side dhich is seperate from the hotel without explaining its the old part of the hotel but most importantly Expedia sells queen beds and gives instead two twin beds united in one. Its horrible to sleep in the crack. The hotel « fixed » it but never apologized and at first said they could not do anything.. then the manager said he upgraded us toa. « Luxurious » room which was just a normal room in thr main hotel and we did this at 1 am after having a hard time sleeping. Horrible!
- David (10/5): Petite France hotel - This hotel is amazing in an amazing location. We had a terrific deal rhrough hotel.com. go if you can, location amazing,
Building amazing historic building in perfect location but absolutely perfect location. Any issue? Well it is atrick to get ice in any european hotel but they were up to the task. Loved this place.
- Ned (10/5): - We will stay here again when we return to Strasbourg! Wonderful room overlooking a beautiful canal, great staff, and accessible to great sites, food and shopping. Loved this great hotel!
- John (10/5): - We were located in what seemed to be a newly renovated building across from the main hotel. It was nice and secure and everything was in great condition. There's a bit of a funky smell coming from the water outside, but that's not the hotel's fault. Would definitely recommend, especially for the location in Petite-France.
- Alan K (10/5): A great hotel to stay - I am happy to choose this hotel purely for it's central location but turn out give me a big surprise. It is a hidden gem and we love it. Will stay in this hotel when I visit this town again ! Especially, thanks for Shamil's good service.
- ALEXANDRA (10/5): - Absolutely a very nice stay
- Susan (10/5): The Perfect Spot - My stay here was wonderful. The hotel was perfectly located on the canal as advertised. The room was comfortable, clean, conveniently located and extraordinarily quiet. So easy to walk all over from this location. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.
- Salah (10/5): - Fantastic location in the middle of Petite France.
- RAPEE (10/5): - The hotel is pretty and convenient. The service is the best.
- Raisa (10/5): - Pavillon REGENT PETITE is an excellent hotel. Ideal location to all the hot spots you'll want to visit
Staff is very friendly and always ready to help me. Welcoming from the moment you walk in, personalized checkins throughout your stay and a warm farewell will ensure you book another stay. Thanks to the fantastic team for always making me feel so welcomed!
- Beth (10/5): - We loved our stay. Quiet, spacious rooms and great walkable location!
- Mark (10/5): - Unique beautiful area- hotel staff were lovely
Parking was a little tricky but it was my mistake- I didn’t realize they sent an email with directions on entering hotel/ parking
- Victoria (10/5): - This charming hotel has historical characteristics with modern finishes. The views are spectacular. The city is beautiful and looks like it’s straight out of a movie or story book. If you like Marriott but want something more charming, stay here! There’s no AC, but the windows open and offer a nice breeze.
- Jill (10/5): Lovely room, excellent location - The hotel is an easy walk from the train station. Service was friendly and helpful for local recommendations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!
- Ian (8/5): Nicely located in the historical centre - Lovely hotel, comfortable and quiet, staff friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for visiting the historical centre with a great selection of bars Ned restaurants.
- Tram (10/5): Nice, clean hotel with great views! - A nice clean hotel with great views of the Litlle Alsace town. Nice & friend staff. Check in was quick. Though, if you are driving, getting to the hotel & parking can be a challenge since the town is mostly pedestrian friendly.
- Minha (10/5): - I like everything about this hotel. :) But unfortunately, the risotto of the room service was undercooked. :(
- Rita (10/5): Fabulous Stay - One of the best hotels on my one month travels through Europe and UK. I had a beautiful big, amazing room with fabulous views. It was in the historic building part of the property. The bathroom was amazing, the bed was so comfy. The hotel amenities were wonderful. The champagne bar and restaurant were great. And it’s just in the middle of the best part of Strasbourg. Highly recommend this hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location. Top service. No complaints at all, would stay again

- Stanley (10/5): - We absolutely loved this property. The staff is so very helpful and kind. Sebastien went above and beyond to help recommend us some restaurants and bakeries and was so kind and friendly. If all of the places that we stay were as friendly, clean, well staffed, and as caring as those here as Pavillon are, the world would be a better place. I CANNOT say enough nice things about this hotel and property.
- Leah (10/5): - Perfect location! Definitely will stay here again!
- Kay (10/5): - It is not very easy to get to the hotel by car. I wish i would have received instructions.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

- Gail (8/5): Perfect location for rail travelers - Nice hotel near the train station and cathedral. Delicious breakfast
- Vy (8/5): Nice Hotel - A lovely hotel.
Excellent location.
Pity we were in the annexe which is down the road and not in the hotel.
WiFi very complicated to log in they need to change it to a more user friendly version.
We were locked out on our last day so had to go to reception to get new keys the staff didn’t come to us which was disappointing.
- Lisa (10/5): - Incredible stay at the top of the hotel!
- Chris (10/5): - The restoration of this historic property is nothing short of phenomenal. It is in a great location and the Staff is excellent and attentive
- Verified traveler (10/5): Delightful stay in beautiful Strasbourg - A very comfortable hotel room in a picturesque area. Excellent service and very helpful staff at hotel except for one less than pleasant waiter! Highly recommend for a stay in delightful Strasbourg.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfortable accommodation for independent travellers who do not require all the trappings of a hotel. The rooms are in a beautiful annex with secure access and across the road from the hotel. Our only complaint was the extraordinary complexity required to access Wifi; the instructions in our room were incorrect but staff at the hotel quickly helped us.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location overlooking the canals and the park
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beautiful location.
No breakfast service at Pavillon (only at the main hotel building)
- MARK (10/5): GREAT HOTEL - Fabulous large room.Very comfortable bed and huge bathroom.
Very well presented with a great view of the river.
Perfect location within easy wslking distance of the main square.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent location in Petit France, with pretty houses, canals and restaurants. Hotel has 2 buildings, the main building has rooms, the restaurant, spa, bar and gym; the second, 'Pavilion', building is across the road and has rooms and a meeting room. Lift to all floors although there was a small step in the room between the entrance/shower area and the bed and sitting area. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Room was very warm. I had the air conditioning on max all night and woke up to find the room just as warm! I mentioned this at reception and they said that Strasbourg tends to be cold, so they keep the rooms warm. Overall a very good and comfortable base to explore the centre of Strasbourg.
