La ducha doble está excelente, salía buena cantidad y a buena temperatura. La climatización de la habitación muy bien. La cama bien, pero se hundía un poco (8 de10), almohadas bien. Los restaurantes si bien ofrecían comida rica y bien presentada, no eran excelentes, no eran de primera. Cuando son a la carta tienen un menú gourmet diferente todos los días, pero es muy reducido en las opciones del día. La cerveza disponible es la cerveza local más barata. No se ofrece de buena calidad, ni importadas ni cerveza negra/roja. Los bares de la pileta están muy descuidados y se ven muy precarios. No ofrecen jugos o licuados naturales en todo momento que era una de las cosas que me interesaban. Demasiado caro para no cumplir nuestras expectativas descriptas. La playa no es agradable para bañarse.

However, they said that’s only for visitors who are coming to the resort not leaving the resort! what’s funny was that we didn’t even get towels or welcome drink when we got their on our first day! so basically they don’t care that you leave happy and be a returning visitors! yes it’s more happening resort for bachelorette party and birthdays! but don’t expect a lot! cause resort is not that great.

- Jalise Brie (4/5): - During my stay at breathless my husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon. Upon arrival the staff was friendly but the room we stayed in was not clean and completely smelled like mold/mildew. The smell was so unbearable we called the front desk on multiple occasions someone then calls us at 2 AM to ask if we would like to change our room. Being woken up out of my sleep we changed rooms in the middle of the night. This was not the experience me and my husband planned. There was also no entertainment except for the weekends which I wish I knew prior to booking. The food was mid and not worth it. I would not be coming back to this location.

- Vanessa (4/5): - The property is very nice, it’s very spacious and the rooms are beautiful. I do feel like even though it was adults only it was very limited. The bars did not serve shots, the cabanas were only available for use if you spent $200+ on bottles. So if the beach chairs were taken you had nowhere to place your things. The pools had a lot of “ cabanas” which were always empty during my stay because no one was willing to buy the bottles. Other than the buffet, the x amount of restaurants were always “ booked” and limited. There was a few people I traveled with that had problems with their rooms (no hot water, toilets not flushing, flooding). The road to the hotel is in the poorest conditions. Considering the name of the hotel you would think they would have a paved road. It was a dirt road with more holes than you can count. This would in turn make the drive from the main road to the hotel ~15 minutes. The staff was friendly. The club hosted “ DJ no request”, don’t ask for certain music, because he’s not gonna listen to the crowd.

Overall, it was okay-staff is generally nice but never booking here again. I feel like I was scammed

- Giselle (8/5): - My husband and I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. We had a great time! The food was delicious, the staff were all lovely (shout out to Vicente by the xhale club pool and Joseph in the Mexican restaurant), the spa amenities were top notch, and the property overall was very clean. I don’t give it the full rating because there were a couple of things that I wasn’t fully satisfied with. The WiFi was terrible everywhere, the drinks weren’t all that, it seems that the air purposely gets turned off during the day in the rooms so when you go back in, the room feels humid to the point that the sheets feel wet. I also think the entertainment by the main pool should be better. But it was overall a nice stay!

The pool Was nice and spacious and the water aerobics was nice. The Spa service was really good. Overall a nice stay.

The food was absolutely amazing with so many options to enjoy. The beaches and pools are beautiful and well-kept, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—there’s a fun party vibe, but also plenty of calm spots to relax. Truly a wonderful experience all around!
- Naomi (6/5): - Nice resort. The only 2 things I didn’t like was they basically only served tourist foods. We looked forward to eating tacos and there were none on the property. The second thing was I was allowed a free bottle of wine and free spa service. I never received the spa service and I had to remind them everyday about my free bottle of wine. They kept saying they came to my room but the privacy light was on and that wasn’t true. I left it off purposely for that reason. I didn’t receive it until the last day

Charley Boy, the bartender on the beach was so attentive and always knew just what to bring us. There were so many others that made our experience awesome. There was always something to do during the day and entertainment at night. No reason for anyone to be bored here. We can’t wait to start planning our next trip here.

- James Michael (10/5): - we’ve just returned from a group trip, I can happily say — we had no complaints! We had visited this resort about 7 years ago when it was still just one resort. I didn’t realize Secrets had taken over the original Exhale area when I booked with Exhale again. Maybe Secrets could be considered the “nicer” option, but honestly, I was more than happy with what we had. The Exhale Lounge staff were great — they helped us book hydrotherapy right when we checked in, which was smart because spots were already filling up for the day we wanted. We used the Exhale pool once but mostly stayed with our group throughout the resort. We had an Exhale ocean view room, which I thought was perfect since we weren’t really in our room much to need a better view. The bed was comfortable. The shower is probably a favorite. The beach was as expected and had a bit more to be desired if you are a beach person, but previous posts and having been here before it is what it is. The resort does a great job maintaining it as much as they can. Breakfast at Bites was really good, but we also enjoyed eating in our room using the in-app room service and grabbing light breakfast bites from the lounge. Lunch was mostly pizza by the beach (always a win), mixed with snacks from the Exhale Lounge throughout the day. And Bingo with Eric by the beach while we ate was a good time! - Dave (4/5): - The whole experience was a 5 out of 10, maybe a 6. The food was about a 3. Room-wise, it looked like an 8 but functioned more like a 4. Every day I woke up sliding like someone misted the entire floor was soaked. Even without taking a shower or opening the doors, the condensation had the floor constantly wet — literally sweating at all times of the day or night. I was honestly hoping I’d fall so I could sue. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent — from the moment you walked in, everyone was friendly, from “hola” to “gracias.” I’ll give them that. Actually, thinking back, I take it back — saying it was a 6 is a stretch. It was probably a solid 5

Though there were many Restaraunt options, The food was just mediocre. The path to the nook was not well lit and there were so many raccoons at night trying to get into the nook.

I found myself hungry a lot, and wish there were more variety in late night/room service menus. The most dissatisfying part of the stay were my immediate neighbors. Despite paying for an upgraded experience, the occupants of the next room were yelling, talking, and smoking every night, all night.
- Dillard (8/5): - What the property a lacked from the pool needing an upgrade with the floor so rough you needed to wear water shoes, the staff made up with the best service. I would say the food would be average. The rooms were very nice great setup comfortable bed and fixtures. There were no Bars that were inside air condition all outdoor bars with the exception of one small bar inside the Mexican restaurant. I guess Hyatt is taking over and that worries me. There was some good entertainment with the laser show being fantastic. There was a casino night that was really good. Entertainment by the pool was okay we were there for six nights and if I hear pink pony Cowboy one more time I think I would have had to shoot the speakers at the pool. There's definitely a agenda by Hyatt. The transportation in is close to Cancun Airport but when you turn off the main road they call it the Mexican massage parts of it are paved and then parts are like a bumper ride with potholes as big as small cars. The driver says there's a conflict with the resorts and the government fighting over who should pave the road. All in all if they upgrade the pool and some of the facilities I would give it a A- if not B minus and only because of the good people that work there.

This is our second visit to this resort and we were just as pleased this visit, as our first visit, and definitely already planning to go back. Whether you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere or a party vibe, this resort has it all. You can relax at two of their pools, or go to the party pool, and we loved the option to choose our vibe each day. We decided to upgrade, upon arrival to Secrets Riviera Cancun and in our opinion, it was worth it. The properties are connected, so you have access to both Secrets & Breathless. The service that you receive at both properties is exceptional. I cannot thank the staff enough for going out of their way to make our stay perfection. Our butlers Daniel & Emilio were exceptional and very attentive to our every need. The pool concierges, Enrique & Roger were so very nice and truly seemed to care that you were happy, at all times. We really enjoyed every restaurant and the food was excellent. Even the buffet is great. We also appreciated the great service and were always greeted with smiles at the buffet by everyone, but especially loved Manuel & Olga, as they were so pleasant and friendly every single day. We love Breathless and Secrets and highly recommend both resorts.
- Crystal (6/5): - The rooms were nice but the Xhale club experience was not as expected. We did not have concierge service to assist with reservations, which resulted in long waits for food. The server in the Italian restaurant Christian was great, but the manager and hostess were rude. The Xhale pool experience was excellent. Robeirto was extremely attentive and provided us with great service during our day at that pool. Xemena at the Xhale club lounge was helpful when she was there, but this is experience overall was nothing like the Breathless Resort in the DR of Jamaica.
