The history of this place, the food (the best I've had so far in Java), and it's within walking distance of the railway station. They organized a nice driver and a breakfast box for me to visit Kelud, the Penataran temple and Sukarno's grave. The bathroom could use some renovating, but the price for the room is very cheap, so that's totally fine.

We hadden de suite echt heel leuk, terug in de tijd, maar schoon en netjes. Het ontbijt is Indonesisch buffet maar ook a la carte met heerlijk brood en croissants. We zijn hier 1 nacht geweest, dat is ook voldoende voor Blitar. Bezoek ook de koffieplantage in Blitar. Terugblik in de koloniale tijd. Leuk om er koffie te kopen. Niets

Vackert skött med alla växter och blommor. Varmt välkomnande av personalen. Personalen fanns alltid till hands och vi kände oss 100% omhändertagna. Vi fick hjälp med allt vi frågade om. Vi tyckte om allt. Möjligen lite tråkig utsikt från vårt rum då det var ett bygge helt inpå men det kompenserades med att vi satt i restaurangen och de andra ställena som inbjöd till umgänge.

The manager and her staff treat all guests as special and do whatever is needed to ensure a memorable visit. I was a frequent visitor to the spa and treatments were very professional and caring. - Jan-len (10/5): Charming Stay at Tugu Hotel Blitar – A Touch of Soekarno’s Legacy - I had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made me feel welcome. The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-kept. A special mention to the massage therapist—she was amazing and had very strong hands. I felt completely relaxed afterwards. I would definitely come back! The air conditioning was working, but I think it could use some servicing to improve performance. Also, the bedding could be upgraded for added comfort.

As there aren't many nearby dining options we ate at the hotel in the evenings as well as breakfast. The food is very good and well presented. On the down side, our "deluxe double" room was rather shabby. The bathroom was of a quality we would expect in much less expensive hotel.

Because the bathroom is party open in the ceiling,there where mosquitoes,fries an small bloack insects on the room. Other than this,everything is good. The only thing I am not satisfied is the restaurant do not have air conditioning and cannot suffer eating there in the hot weather
