- Jennifer (9/5): Superb - Comfy little hut and a quiet and relaxing spot to stay
- Nicolas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eve (8/5): Lovely, welcoming, inspiring (could we do the same.....?) and perfect for a break in the summer. - Location was fab, but we only spent one night and arrived in the dark because of traffic and poor planning, so we didn't get to appreciate the experience. We didn't meet the team, but our communication with them over the booking.com app and phone was easy. If better weather could have been ordered, that would have been amazing....I can only imagine how lovely the space is on a warm sunny day / evening. It was tough in the dark and rain as the space is beautifully appointed, but very small for four people and a dog inside.
- Ashton (7/5): Good - The welcome cupcakes were a lovely touch.

- Becky (10/5): Fabulous countryside get away - The shepherds hut was perfectly located & equipped. Everything we needed for a weekend in the countryside. The animals and outdoor toys on site were perfect entertainment for our son, who thoroughly enjoying spending time roaming around the grassy area. We would love to come back one day!
- Hannah (9/5): Peaceful and comfortable - I loved my stay. Very relaxing, comfortable with attention to detail. The animals made it a nice experience. Not that I didn’t like anything but I think a small piece of butter would be a good idea with the eggs and milk you leave for guests.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful sanctuary for a well needed brief escape!
- Lucy (10/5): A wonderful place to stay inside and out! - We had the most wonderful stay in the South Down Shepherd’s hut. We came as a a family of 2 adults and 2 young children. It was the perfect quiet place for us to stay.
On arrival we were greeted with the most beautiful and well considered hut. It has everything you need and more in a small space that is extremely well designed so that it feels spacious and luxurious, the decor is beautiful.
A lovely touch was the cupcakes, eggs and milk on arrival.
The grounds were brilliant, our two young children loved the animals and it was great to be in a safe enclosed environment where they could explore freely. We woke up early to go and say good morning to the pigs and were lucky to collect some fresh eggs. The children loved playing with the wide range of outdoor games and using the bbq to cook dinner. A wonderful space inside and out for us to enjoy a wonderful relaxing as a family. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Good shower. Nothing we didn’t like. It was a great stay.

You have everything you need within the Sheperds Huts with a huge inventory of cutlery and cookware. The owners are absolutely fantastic and were great when our (insulated!) pipes froze due to the exceptionally cold weather, going above and beyond to ensure they thawed out as soon as possible and we were still comfortable with extra water. This was our second time staying and we would 100% come back and stay for a third!
- Dennis (9/5): It was a peaceful retreat and the excellent hot tub made for a simple and memorable experience - The homeliness of the self-contained Shepherd's Hut, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and the proximity of a hut tub, were highlights Nothing

The facilities are small but not cramped, the finishing touches put a smile on your face and the service is welcoming from the outset. Would recommend, and will look to return in the future.
