This is a very busy little hotel and the staff are amazing. I loved the wall art on the stairs (yes there is a lift but when you choose to eat pastries for breakfast you have to climb the stairs, it's the trade off). Location, fantastic. It was more of a budget hotel and it showed but the positives outweighed the negatives. The rooms are small, the carpet was warn and the join had come apart in the door way. The sink stopper got stuck. The bathroom is tiny. Bed was ok.

- James (9/5): Beautiful location in the heart of Bern - GREAT staff, very helpful. Especially Manuel, Costa and Orlando, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Loved my quiet room at the back. I did not see my guests' room at the front with the little balcony but they told me they loved it. Great location just two mins walk to the parliament building, with old town also just two mins away. Safe neighborhood. The annual Bern marathon was taking place on our arrival day and driving to the hotel was impossible, with no help at all from local authorities. I called ahead the day before to ask about driving to the hotel, and was told there would be assistance via both Google Maps and the police. There was not. I had to struggle a bit. We finally just parked in a garage and walked. As this marathon is a planned event and takes place yearly, the city needs to do better. Finally, I hate those coffee machines. They are awful. Coffee is bitter. PLEASE go back to the "old way." The new "all in one" machines which have spread like a cancer to many hotels need to be scrapped. They are loud, there is always a waiting line, and the taste is crap.

- Hugo (9/5): Cooles Hotel in einer spannenden Stadt. - Das Hotel ist ca. 7 Min. vom Bahnhof Bern sowie nur 3 Min. vom Bundeshaus entfernt. Wir hatten das Zimmer 225 im 2. Stock. Das Zimmer war gross, sehr ruhig und die Klimaanlage ebenfalls top: Wir haben super geschlafen. Auch die Dusche war angenehm gross. Das Frühstück liess ebenfalls keine Wünsche übrig. Das Hotel können ich und meine Frau nur empfehlen.

- Bruno (9/5): Très bel hôtel, je reviendrai ! - Emplacement dans le centre parfait, parking à proximité, personnel parfait, hotel chaleureux et design accueillant, chambre spacieuse et confortable, propreté impeccable. Juste un petit défaut qui n'est pas dû à l'hôtel, mais la situation plein centre avec des commerces entraine des nuisances sonores le matin, livraisons et autres manutentions de personnes extérieures à l'hôtel.

Kein Duschmantel (für 4 Sterne finde ich, könnte man das erwarten). Kleenexbox nach kurzem Gebrauch nicht mehr nachgefüllt. TV funktionierte nicht gut (Bild wurde immer schnell dunkel, sodass wir kein Programm geniessen konnten. Haben es gemeldet, aber da es am Wochenende war, konnte man es natürlich nicht sofort beheben). Für den gehobenen Preis hätte ich einwandfrei funktionierende Ausstattung erwartet.
