• Jonathan (10/5): Super place to stay whilst travelling around the South Island. We loved it! - This was a great stay, we were driving so wanted a motel. It provided comfortable and clean accommodation, located near enough to Nelson and the surrounding areas. Interesting to have the aeroplanes flying over but not a problem. Well kitted out kitchenette. Nothing to dislike.

There didn’t seem to be enough car parks and the car parks that were there were quite small. I feel a number allocated to each unit would have been good for people to know which was their park.

• Nicholas (10/5): Excellent service and your classic kiwi motel, cozy and comfy - My wife and I had a wonderful time at the arrow motel. David checked us in and was so accommodating. He gave us an upgrade on the room so that we wouldn't suffer in the heat due to the heat wave going through at the time. He also allowed us to check out later due to our flight arrangements. He was so friendly. The room was lovely and so clean! The staff at the Arrow do such a good job! The facilities in the room were great and well stocked. It was a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this accommodation if you are in the area.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Superb Budget Stay in Nelson - It began with chatty and helpful David at checkin, who offered us an upgrade to an upper floor, larger suite with better airflow through the windows. He personally walked us over, and pointed out the cafe out the back gate right next door at the campground, and the bike rentals place beside it. And of course we could now see the sea too, 400m away. Big suite with comfy sofa, kitchenette, kithcen table and balcony with table and chairs too. Good sized bedroom with huge, comfy bed. Bathroom with good if creaky shower, instant heat and plenty of water pressure. Will definitely stay again if we ever return to Nelson.
