• CLARENCE (6/5): Great location - Good location. Clean & friendly staff. The first night the lights were not working (we were informed at checkin & that it would be fixed next day). However the AC is controlled at the front desk & there was no AC for 2 nights even after complaining. We were told to speak to the supervisor who did not bother. So this was a big let down after paying for this.

• Ellie (10/5): - Got the single room which was really spacious and had a sink. Bathrooms were pretty clean. They were all single cubicle with a shower and toilet which was nice. Kitchen and common areas were spacious and the place did not feel crowded or loud. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Good value! Will stay again Inside the hostel felt very safe. The area including the bus stations did have quite a number of homeless but this is probably a more systematic issue.

• Ieva (10/5): This is an excellent budget place to stay in the center of Denver. place - It is a very clean, nice place. The ruleas are clear. The lication is excellent. You cannot open windows in the room.

I didn’t like that in the shared rooms the beds don’t have curtains to maintain privacy. I also didn’t like that the sink to was your hands it is not in the bathroom, it is in your room.

• Brady (10/5): Beautiful hostel with a great staff in an excellent area - Friendly and helpful staff. The hostel is immaculately clean and in a great location. The water temperature in the shower frequently oscillated between scalding hot and ice cold.

• Martin (9/5): - Very clean. Staff nice and helpful. Convenient location..Modern but no frills. Bathrooms always clean. Nice shared common room and kitchen stocked with kitchen tools and appliances. Can cook simple meals if desired. Always felt safe inside hostel and in neighborhood as well..Several good eateries within walking distance. Especially Jordan's Deli. Bathrooms were private but separate from room. Made nighttime bathroom runs a little inconvenient, but still not bad. While generally we had a quiet experience, our room was above a room used for a dance class one night. Music was loud until 10:30 pm. Not ideal. While kitchen was nice, we had no groceries and no coffee available except in the coffee shop. Overall, it's hard to find legitimate complaints.

O quarto era confortável e limpo. A cozinha com geladeira conjunta foi muito útil e as áreas comuns estavam sempre organizadas. O pessoal do atendimento foi muito gentil e eficiente. O quarto possui apenas um local para pendurar as roupas, seria legal ter um pequeno armário.

• Cateleine (10/5): Verassend goed hostel voor een fijne prijs op een prima locatie - Dit is een heerlijk hostel. De kamer die ik had met eigen bad (op pootjes!) was top. Ik vond de gezamenlijke keuken, eetkamer, zit-lees kamer en spelletjesruimte ook top! De koffie is geweldig, de ruimte beneden is ook aangenaam en het personeel is top. Dat de stoel weliswaar heel goed zat, maar te laag was om mee aan het tafeltje te zitten, dus ik kon de tafel niet als bureau gebruiken. Ik was er voor werk dus dat was wel handig geweest.

• Rylie (9/5): Friendly Hotel/Hostel in Denver's Golden Triangle - Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had a private room but still used the amenities and found them great. The location was outside main downtown but honestly, it was perfect walking distance from the Denver Art Museum and Civic Center so still very convenient for the most part.

• Becky (10/5): I will definitely be coming back to the 11th AVE Hostel, for meeting next year in Denver! - Friendly and caring staff - Quick elevator up to the room with my bag, then started taking the nice wide staircase down when leaving the hotel. GREAT STAIRS! The shared community kitchen was great too. I didn't realize that there were several coffee makers /pots, that I could've brought my own coffee in to use, so instead I paid $2 each morning for their 'coffee vending machine' which was 'ok'. Otherwise the public rooms were all nice and clean, just like the shared bathrooms, which all seemed to be 'single bathrooms' along the hallways that showed as being 'in use' or 'vacant' which you'd just have to run across the hall to use, if you didn't opt for an en-suite room like the one that I stayed in. The only things that would've made the stay/en-suite room PERFECT would've been a personal coffee maker with a few coffee/tea services, an additional shelf or something in the bathroom, so that your grooming stuff wouldn't accidentally fall off into the bathroom sink, or if you were using the toilet back to store items, then into the toilet accidentally. My bathroom travel storage bag has a hook on it, so even an extra hook in the bathroom would've been welcome, so I could've hung my bathroom stuff on that. Lastly, I had a prescription that needed refrigeration, but the type of room that I was assigned to, couldn't accommodate a mini-fridge, even if I was willing to pay a little more to rent one, so I made due with a portable home cooler of my own. The nice front desk person also suggested that I could put the medication in a bag with my name on it and date of check out, and store it in the Large Shared Commercial Kitchen Fridge, which would've worked out fine too, I think. I also wished that I could've gotten ice somewhere. I ended up asking the ice cream shop that is located on-site, for a zip-lock bag of ice, which was 'crushed', but hey, it worked in a pinch and I tipped them $1 for it.

You either put a bathroom in each room or place the sink in the shared bathroom outside. We also didn't have handsoap for the sink and I went to buy one, and the room was very cold and we couldn't change the temperature from inside.

They are friendly and responsive. Cleaning crew cool too. Noise near kitchen room. Elevator down hall. However convenient so it's a wash.

• David (9/5): It's cozy - I liked that it was near enough to downtown Denver. Other guests leaving the communa bathrooms/showers a mess. That the temp in our room (and all others probably) is set at 65° F and if you want to change it you have to go to the front desk and ask. As well if you're going to keep the room so cold , at least provide 1 thicker blanket.
