Es gab heißes Wasser und das Internet war dauerhaft stabil. Von der Dachterasse hat man einen tollen Ausblick über Kathmandu.

A notre arrivée, la chambre de luxe choisie sur booking était occupée . Première proposition chambre avec toilettes communes que j’ai refusée. Seconde option, chambre avec toilettes, non rénovée, froide, triste, sale . J’ai accepté et je n'aurai pas dû. Les autres établissements que nous avons réservé depuis sont accueillants, propres. Je regrette que le propriétaire loue des chambres qui ne correspondent pas aux photos de booking.com. les prix sont identiques ailleurs. Certaines chambres semblent rénovées , propres et ensoleillée s. Pas de chance pour nous, pour le premier jour au Népal.

Man ist etwas mehr in local Straßen aber trotzdem in 5 Minuten Fußnähe zum Touristenviertel Thamel. Die Dachterrasse ist toll, man hat einen Wahnsinnsblick auf die gesamte Stadt. Das Frühstück hat uns auch sehr gut geschmeckt und das Personal war immer sehr aufmerksam und freundlich zu uns. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das ist der Grund warum wir am Ende unserer Reise in das Blue Mountain Homestay zurück gekommen sind.

- Skirmantė (9/5): Cozy rooms in a perfect location and with the kindest staff - Blue Mountain Homestay truly felt like home! Very nice, friendly and accommodating owners and staff, very cozy building carefully decorated with family pictures, historical trinkets and love. The location is ideal for walking around the tourist district and reaching the interest points of Kathmandu. The wifi on the upper floor was good enough for my work video calls. When choosing a hotel and homestay this one seemed with character and homely, and it didn't disappoint! I will be returning. The attached bathroom did not have ventilation which made the bathroom and the room stuffy and unpleasant after a hot shower. However, so far I've noticed this is a Nepal-wide issue.

C est amplement suffisant (oeufs, toasts, beurre, confiture, fruits frais et une boisson chaude au choix qui peut etre resservie si besoin). Merci d avoir contribué à notre bien être à Katmandou. The setting was beautiful and had such a lovely vibe. The rooftop restaurant was very reasonable and really good and fantastic views accross the city and mountains beyond. The staff were also just so lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend! If we return to Kathmandu we will definitely be staying here!

The shared bathroom was exceptionally clean and so was the bedroom. Lots of space and really comfortable. The location was also great, just a 5 minute walk to Thamel and nice and quiet. The staff were so lovely, on our last day they gave me a complimentary tea and helped to carry our bags down. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

- Miki (1/5): Bad - I paid money to reserve 3 rooms on Booking.com, but only 2 rooms were reserved. When I asked him why only 2 rooms were reserved, he said he forgot to reserve 1 room. And he told us that since this place was overbooked, one of us should go to another hotel. So I told him we would both cancel if we couldn't all sleep in the same hotel, but he told me he couldn't cancel. He then went further and demanded money from us, saying we had not yet paid for the room we had booked. I told him that I had made a reservation using my credit card on Booking.com. He persistently asked us for money, saying he had not received any money from Booking.com. As a hotel owner, how can you be so rude?

- Olivia (10/5): Blue Mountain is a very nice place to relax. - This home stay is very colorful and cozy! The room was a really good size and nice and clean. There is a power outlet near the bed, which can really make a difference! Also, the hot water in the shower takes a minute to figure out, but does work really well! The staff is very friendly and will help with any questions you have about your trip. Blue Mountain is a little bit of a further walk from many of the attractions in Kathmandu- but if you are looking for a nice, quiet place to relax and unwind- this is a very good place to do so.

I needed a room with a table or desk to work from which I initially didn't get, but they made everything possible for me to be comfortable and changed my room to one that satisfied my working needs. The internet on the top floor works perfectly. Everything was fine within what I expected of the place.

- Marc (10/5): Perfect, quiet, comfortable spot located very close to but away from the chaos of Thamel. - What a fantastic spot—comfortable and spacious rooms, immaculately clean both in the rooms and in all the common spaces (and with a fresh coat of paint), a very kind and helpful owner, and located the perfect distance from the heart of Thamel (close walking distance but much quieter and calmer than being in the middle of all the chaos). The shared balcony on each floor was a lovely and quiet place to relax, with comfortable seating. Each floor has no more than four rooms, so the common spaces are not crowded and the shared bathroom is nearly always available. The owner went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and even treated us to a delicious complementary dinner on our second night. The included breakfast, which we ate on the beautiful rooftop terrace every morning, was delicious and filling; it included tea or coffee, toast with butter and jam, eggs prepared to your choosing, and fruit. It was a perfect place to stay and we plan to stay again in the future! nothing :)
