- Mika (7/5): - Onsen was zeer goed. Voetbal veld dichtbij weet niet of je erop mag maar ik vind het mooi om te kijken. Het id wel wat ouderwets al helemaal de tv. Veel onduidelijkheid en amper engels bij de receptie, ik heb 20 - 30 minuten bergop gelopen naar dit hotel vanaf het dichsbijzijnde treinstation de bus die naar dit hotel gaat is niet echt een bus meer een klein bestelbusje met een random gast erin die af en toe rijd.

- Martin (7/5): Hotel had seen better days but don't miss the Onsen ! - The hotel itself is a very large complex with good size rooms for a decent price. Staff is exceptionally friendly, as usual in Japan. We had the choice of western style rooms (facing the land) or Japanese style rooms (facing the sea). Beds were western-style in both, just the other furniture was different. What was exceptional was the outside part of the Onsen, where one could sit below the stars and look out on the sea while enjoying the hot water. Just for this I would return. The hotel clearly has seen better days. Some of the carpets in the hallways would need replacing. Time clearly has left marks. What we really didn't like was the buffet - the only option (no a-la-carte). It was too late to go outside and fine some nice place to eat, so we stayed in. The food was ok, but - as often with buffet - not on the same level as fresh in a restaurant. And for 8000 yen per person probably the worst price to taste ration we had in all of Japan. Yes, the drinks were included, and the selection of hard liquor was not bad. So one could have gotten the money worth by hitting the bar area hard. Unfortunately, we were not in the mood to get wasted. While returning only for the Onsen, I would not choose the buffet again.

- phil (9/5): Stunning place to stay with a great spa. - An amazing location with stunning views over the sea and penisula. Good size room with good facilities. Clean and comfortable. Social evenings with free nibbles and drinks were very weilcome, plus the SPA was excellant both inside and out. Great location, just a short distance from the town and the most southerly tip of the main island. Easy free parking. Not far from stunning views on the rock structures and beaches. The area was a little challenging to find more western style food, but the local supermarket provided a great selection of ready meals which compensated.

- Masako (2/5): 虚しい - 特にない スタッフの使えなさ。アーリーチェックインについて聞いたところ、？？？もう一回お願いします。が続いて話にならなかったので会話終了。オーナーが変わったことでまだ移行できていない施設の雑に隠した部分が至る所に見えて悲しすぎました。温泉は良かったですが使用後のタオルを返す場所もなくそのまま部屋に持ち帰らなければならない。ホテルも全体的に暗すぎて、シックというよりは陰気臭いと表現した方が的確なイメージ。以前の姿を知っているが故に、本当に残念でなりません。改善を求めます。

- Susan (10/5): Prachtig uitzicht, onsen en zwembad - Wij waren er in het weekend. Samen met vele Japanse gezinnen die hier massaal ontspannen in de grote onsen en zwembad van het hotel inclusief relaxruimte met na afloop ijsjes en drank. Geweldig om mee te maken. Doordeweeks zijn de prijzen aanzienlijk lager en is het een stuk stiller. De Hashiguiiwa rocks zijn zichtbaar vanaf het hotel en makkelijk te bezoeken. Wees op tijd met het zoeken van een plek voor avondeten. Wij waren op zaterdagavond 19 uur in het dorp maar nergens konden we meer terecht. Overal Sold out of Almost closed. Gevolg is dat we bij een supermarkt wat hebben gehaald en opgewarmd om dit op onze kamer op te eten.

Ils y à tous les équipements nécessaires dans l'hôtel, onsen public privatif, looby, petit boutiques etc... La chambre de style japonaise étais top. Agréable moment passé au sein de l'hôtel. Le personnel est agréable et à l'écoute des différentes demande et questions.

- Sam (9/5): Amazing value and excellent service! - A fantastic hotel for the price. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. The on-site hot spring was great, and had amazing views out to the coast. The free-flow drinks in the hotel lounge from 3 - 10pm every day were a massive plus! There is a lot to explore near Kushimoto, ideally with a car. We didn't have dinner at the restaurant but the buffet breakfast had a huge number of options and was delicious. The beds were not the most comfortable, and the pillows were definitely not comfortable. The location is a bit out of town, but the walk was not too bad (about 15 mins) if going the 'short' way past the back of the baseball field and down the steps. We were able to get a taxi back from town very easily when it rained one evening.

- Hsing-Mei (10/5): - 熊野古道4次，第一次住在串本，滿意度最高，性價比也最高，住宿日式海景房，整潔寬闊的和洋式房間，每天在晨曦美景中醒來，房内欣賞橋杭岩日出，真是幸福。外出走累了，回飯店，還有大浴池可泡溫泉舒緩疲累，並且有接駁巴士往返車站，門口也有觀光巴士往返各觀光景點，下午和晚上還有不同酒類和小點心免費使用，櫃台有台灣來的親切Lin等職員，耐心詳細說明串本美食小冊子和交通時刻表，溝通無障礙，價位可親，CP值很高的海邊飯店，房間和飯店整理也很清潔乾淨，一點都沒有老飯店的陳舊異味，離開真的覺得依依不捨，已經規劃下次要再回來住。 房間沒有咖啡包，但大廳下午有提供咖啡機，個人習慣一早喝咖啡，有一些不習慣，但也談不上缺點，因為現在各飯店可能為了環保，都是統一在公共空間供應咖啡。

- phil (8/5): Despite the carpets being a bit stained, the Hotel is well worth a visit - The location was great, the room large and the Hotel generally of a high standard. Th beds were fresh and spotlessly clean. The free drinks and nibbles between 3pm and 5 and then 5 till late were an unexpected bonus. The spa was very hot both inside and outside and lovely to spend time in. The carpets all over very stained and look like they could do with a good clean.

- Michael (7/5): - Schöne Aussicht aufs Meer, große Zimmer und gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Schönes Außenbecken im Onsen. Für Alleinreisende eher stressig, der Fokus liegt anscheinend eher auf Familien und Gruppen. Restaurant und Onsen sind daher vergleichsweise groß dimensioniert, haben eher den Charme eines Flughafenterminals. Besonders das Onsen wirkt eher wie ein flaches Schwimmbad mit warmen Wasser. Die große Oberfläche führt zu einer hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit - hoffe die Rostfahnen an der Decke stammen nicht von tragenden Elementen. Die Lage auf dem Hügel ist gut für die Aussicht, allerdings weit von den meisten Restaurants im Ort entfernt.

- YOSHIKI (10/5): リピート確定 - ・駐車場が広く、駐車場所探しに困ることがなく難無く駐車できた ・ラウンジでドリンク（アルコール、ノンアルどちらも有り）とおつまみが楽しめた ・客室含め全ての施設•設備が清潔で充実していた ・大浴場というだけあり浴場が広く、露天風呂で星空を楽しむこともできた。また、WEB上で浴場の混雑状況も確認することができ、混雑を避けてゆっくり過ごすことができた。 •浴場へ入る際はカードキーで解錠して入るシステムで、防犯面もしっかりとしていた •浴場から出た後、浴場エリアにあるラウンジで湯上がり後もゆったりとした時間を過ごすことができた。また、遅くに入ったためお茶類は無くなっていたが、1人1本の無料アイスが残っていたため、風呂上がりのデザートとして楽しめた

- JUN (8/5): 最高でした。 - 朝食がかなり種類が多くてどれも美味しかった。 特にドーナツと豚骨ラーメンはうまって声が思わず出てしまうほど美味しかった。 夜のラウンジもお酒やドリンクバーが豊富にありおつまみも止まらなくなるものばかりで大満足でした。 和室に宿泊したが照明の調整がしにくかった。 クーラーも自分で温度設定できなかった。 布団が夏の割に分厚くて暑かった。

- Lucile Natsuki (10/5): Parfait - Logés au 9e étage, nous avons trouvé la vue superbe et la chambre très spacieuse. Le personnel est professionnel. L'hôtel était bien rempli mais nous n'avons pas eu l'impression qu'il était surpeuplé. La palme revient tout de même au onsen, extrêmement relaxant. Il y a deux bassins, un à l'intérieur et l'autre à l'extérieur, avec une vue superbe sur la mer et les étoiles, un sauna et un bain froid.
