• bernd (8/5): - Relativ einfache Unterkunft, man sollte keinen Luxus erwarten. Man kann im Hotel auch einen Roller zu guten Konditionen mieten. Ich war zufrieden und würde wiederkommen.
• Justin (10/5): Great Stay! - It was a great stay. Very clean rooms and great location. A short walk down the Soi and you are on the main touristy/commercial street in town. Also close to the beach.

I thought the upgrade to a VIP room which I was given was great Lovely comfortable bed and pillows, ac worked well. 2 bottles of water everyday plus room clean when requested. It’s also in a good location being about a 5 minute walk to the beach and about the same time to roads with bars and restaurants. The shared taxi from Ban Phe pier cost 20B but it’s easily walkable in about 10 mins. Would stay again for sure.
• Rosemary (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Miss Hongs House. Excellent value, really comfy sheets and bed. Also provided with two bottles of water per day and there are facilities in the room to make your own coffee. Steps are quite steep, therefore not ideal if you have mobility issues, but we were fine.
• Sophie (8/5): - Chambre correcte et propre. La clim et le frigo à disposition. Pas loin de la rue où ça bouge un peu et de la plage, on peut faire à pied. On entend un peu le bruit des voitures mais à partir de 22h environ il n’y en a plus. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de rangements. Je recommande sans problème.

• REMY PHILIPPE (10/5): 5 stars place. (10 for the staff) - I cannot be more satisfied about my stay at Miss Hong House. The location is very convenient at walking distance to the high street and lovely Thai food places.Taxis and motorcycles at available at the House or within 10 min walks.I have been to beautiful several beaches in less than 30 min drive from the House which is very clean and silent. And not the least..A very warm and big appreciation to May who is running the house but also helping you in a Thai manner (it says it all) may you have any questions or doubts. Try her coffee too. Boyfriend is very kind and helpful too and the kind and friendly cleaning lady make sure that your room is always in a pristine condition.Thank you so much May for everything, Thank you very much to the 3 of us for making my first stay in the island a total success. • Johan (10/5): Book it now! - Fantastic hosts Mae and Tong together with Oun made us feel like family. Fastest check in ever. Very near the beach and main street 5 min walk. Perfect location and still too far from the bar street so you can sleep quiet. They renovate rooms during our stay so now even more nicer! Great value for your money! Book it!

Comfortable bed, good wifi, slightly dated but acceptable bathroom and shower. Interesting temple just steps away, beach very close too. Good air conditioning, quiet in evening, very relaxing stay. Bars, restaurants, convenience stores, etc all within walking distance.

• Nina (10/5): Super séjour ! - Un accueil au top. La gérante est charmante et à notre écoute. La chambre était propre et confortable ( confort asiatique donc lit un peu dur ). Possibilité de louer un scooter et tout autres activités ! A quelques pas de la plage. Seul difficulté au début, trouver le logement ( près du grand Buddha blanc ) Je recommande fortement, nous avons même booké une nuit de plus.
• Jeffrey (8/5): Like staying at your grandma’s and great location - Perfect budget spot on Koh Samet. Old fashioned Thai style Guest House...like staying at your grandma’s. Great quiet location but only 5 minutes walk to stores, restaurants and bars on the village, and 12 minutes from spectacular public beach. Room basic but comfortable. Mostly quiet other than one night when a young family was in next room...but they went to sleep early! Room has typical Thai bathroom where shower is the whole room. Air Conditioning worked great. Great atmosphere.
• Siow Har (8/5): Convenient location without the hustle and bustle - Location : It was pretty close (about 10 mins walk) from the Nadan pier though it took a bit of finding to get there. Although it was near the beach, there is a resort in front of Miss Hong House and one had to walk down the street and do a left turn / detour to get to the beach. It wasn't that far, but it was a little cumbersome for a lazy me...!! If one walks down the street (without making a left detour to the beach), one reaches the "village", with lots of eateries, shopping, massage and services. It was pretty convenient considering there were two 7-11s right at this junction. The owner was friendly, helpful and provided with tips on the places to go etc. I was not able to make it in time for the 6.30pm check-in and gave her a tinkle. She waited till 8pm for my arrival before she could "knock off" for the day.
• Susanne (6/5): Helt greit for en billig penge - Det er et billig 2-stjerners hotell, så du får hva du betaler for. Helt greit rom med en hard seng, men overraskende bra Internett, selv om det datt ut litt her og der.

• youth-73 (8/5): 静かな立地 - 年末年始に利用しました。ビーチには歩いて10分以内ですが、島内の移動を考えるとレンタルバイクを利用すると便利です。この宿にもあります。ビーチ近郊ですが、とても静かです。スタッフも家族で経営されてるのか、まさしくアットホームです。愛犬も可愛くもてなしてくれます。 唯一のネガティヴポイントとしては、ドライヤーやアメニティに欠けてるところや、ベッドが古く？硬く寝心地は良くないです。女性や気になる方は工夫が必要でしょう。 ただ全体の評価としてはコスパも良くて好印象です。

• Rie (10/5): 噂通りの素晴らしいスタッフ - 立地が良く、島の先端にある港から歩いて10分程度です。大変居心地がよくシングルルームに3日の滞在予定でしたが1週間に延長しました。従業員がとても親切でいつも笑顔でいてくれるので癒されました。 唯一の欠点はWi-Fiがたまに切れてしまいます。もしかしたらこの島特有のことなのかもしれません。ネットを繋がず過ごすいいきっかけにもなったので特に気になりませんでした。いざとなればフリーWi-Fiがそこら中にあるので問題ありません。
• Jens (4/5): Reinfall - ich kann jetzt nur von dem zimmer reden was ich bekommen habe. Also nichts für langen Aufenhalt ist was für Rucksacktouristen.Die Matratze war total alt und durch gelegen keine Schrank für Sachen vorhanden.Sehr laut liegt direkt an der Straße last die Finger davon viel zu teuer ich habe 1200 baht pro tag für einen Kaninchenstall bezahlt da bekommst du auf der Insel viel bessere Zimmer. Ist mir ein Rätsel wo die die guten Bewertungen her bekommen. Nie wieder so eine Hütte.
• Andrew (8/5): Basic rooms but Super friendly staff - If you can get the room on the top floor (two double beds) I highly recommend it, because there is a great patio up there that you basically have to yourself. The rooms are basic, but clean and have the essentials you need, including a mini fridge. They have scooters to rent right at the hotel and a store that sells drinks next door. It's a bit expensive for this type of hotel in Thailand, but that's probably because it's on an Island.

• Verified traveler (10/5): スタッフさんが最高でした。 - 3月にツインの部屋に泊まりました。 立地はビーチからもそこそこ近いですが 少しメインの通りとは外れるので、静かに眠ることができます。 部屋もそこそこ快適。 唯一難点を挙げるとすると、夜の道が少し暗いのと、シャワーとトイレの部屋の鍵穴が錆びついてたくらい。 お風呂のアメニティも無く、ドライヤーもありません。※借りれたのかな？？聞くの忘れました。 →でも、ゲストハウスなら全然許容範囲かな。 それでもオススメしたいのは、スタッフさんの対応。サメット島は初だったので色々と気にかけてくれるのがありがたいです。本当に素敵な笑顔で対応してくれます。 また、バイク（原付、ズーマー的なやつです)も良心的な値段で借りられるので、是非借りて見て下さい。サメット島はバイクでまわるのがオススメです。 また来たいと思うゲストハウスでした。
• Randy g (6/5): Convenient and clean place to stay. - Staff were friendly and helpful. Arranged a snorkelling trip for us, called a taxi when requested. Hotel was clean, bathroom shower had a small glass partition but a shower curtain or sliding door would keep the bathroom drier. No sitting area other than room. Would recommend this hotel for couples.

• Robert (8/5): Bra för billig peng nära stranden - Trevligt litet hotell nära största stranden på Koh Samet. Tretlig och behjälplig personal även om alla verkar blåsa turister till höger och vänster på ön. Men de får man kanske leva med ibland.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Enkelt och bekvämt - Miss Hong House är ett enkelt men bekvämt hotell för den som inte kräver särskilt mycket. Vi var nöjda med allting, eventuellt en lite för lång promenad till stranden för den som är lat.
• Elias (6/5): Alright for a cheap getaway weekend - Miss Hong House was an alright visit, for a weekend. The staff are very nice and personal, and the room is surprisingly big... but the beds are very hard and the wi-fi is barely existent (I could barely send a text message). Very close to the beach though which is a big plus, and good cleaning.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Prisvärt - Jag skulle tippa på att det här hotellet är en av de mest prisvärda på ön. Det ligger 5min från centrum. Jag skulle inte vilja spendera mer än tre nätter här, för det är inte jätte fint. Men trevlig personal och rummet är hyfsat.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Not for family, only for backpackers - I didn't like this guesthouse, bed and pillows were hard, local people live near by and make noise in early morning, most cars in the island drive trough the road where this guesthouse is located, reception is alsobclosed in the evening.

• Hanako (8/5): 清潔でお値打ちホステル - 島で一番にぎやかなサイケオビーチまで徒歩5分くらいなので便利でした。宿周辺も5分ほど歩けばセブンイレブン、食事ができる店、屋台が数軒あります。宿自体はお安いところなので、特に多くは求めていませんでしたが、清潔なタオル、ボトル入りのお水もあり、お湯シャワーもエアコンもあり、充分でした。ヘアドライヤーもスタッフに言えば借りることができました。宿のスタッフもみんな笑顔で感じがよかったです。しいて言えば、湯沸しポットが部屋にあったので、コップも部屋においてあると便利かなと思いました。

• YOKOHAMA BOY (10/5): とてもいい家 - 夫妻がとても親切で、部屋も綺麗で快適に過ごすことができました。 バイクのレンタルも行っており、助かりました。 価格もリーズナブルでカップルにはいいかもしれません。 それと、虫や蚊が多い時期でしたので、部屋に入る時は、注意が必要です。 香取線香、殺虫剤などは近くのコンビニで売ってました。 ぜひ、機会があれば、また利用したいと思います。

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was basic but very clean and bright. Only problem: no shelf or anything where to put your clothes. Wifi was very good. Best thing about our stay: the owner and her family were so nice. They gave us a kettle to prepare coffee in the morning (even if it was not provided in the room), they let me print my boarding pass without any charge and they drove us to the ferry pier without any charge. Really lovely people.
