Mary (10/5): Beautiful, friendly with unforgettable views - Beautiful location overlooking the harbor and the rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Also the service was exceptional. Breakfast is continental but there’s lots of options from cereal to yogurt to muffins to fruit. And of course coffee. Alicia baked cookies every day in the afternoon that my husband loved. She made a point of reminding us when the cookies were to be fresh from the oven. Some low-level humming from the bathroom which I assume was due to the heater. We were there over Christmas.
mary (8/5): Great. Would stay again in a heartbeat - The location is great. The hotel and facilities were great. The front desk staff were amazingly friendly and helpful My only criticism is the room was very small but even that wasn’t too bad.
Mahlau (10/5): Everything from the staff to breakfast to the room and amenities were perfect for our holiday visit. - Breakfast every morning was perfect and just enough options. It made getting going for the day easy and comfortable. Two things that really did not take much away from our otherwise exceptional stay. The pillows in the room were a little soft and I realize the room was a bit small for it, but a small chair even in the room would have made getting shoes on to go or sit and read easier on our aging joints than sitting on the platform bed. But they are again very small issues for us.

jean-christophe (8/5): - We have a late check in, and not a great welcoming at this time. But the day after the staff was very friendly. We were in the Veranda house so nice and historic. We enjoyed our stay of 1 night. The lobby is beautiful and offers some snacks at anytime. The breakfast is perfect. Our room and our bed were pretty tiny, until the bathroom was nice ad spacious, but this is an old house. To my opinion the price is too high, but it is Nantucket.

The main thing for us being an older couple was we were put on the third floor with no elevator in the building. The young receptionist offered to take our luggage up… but we said we would try to manage. We would not do this again. I feel we should have been offered a room on a lower level.
Kate (2/5): - We paid for an upgrade to our room, the screen door to the balcony was completely broken. We were on the third floor, and the elevator had an expired inspection, and when I brought it to the management attention, they texted me back siting "issues with being on an island". The place burned down a few years ago, you would think they would be more vigilant? With so many options on island; this one can be missed.

Timothy (6/5): - Right from check-in the balcony door key did not function… Sam stated it would be taken care of & it never was, first night the folks above us from 10:30-11:15 were crazy loud, we called front desk left message and over 24 hours later addressesd this with front desk (Jillian). They seemed somewhat but never any action to resolve. At 4:00 the next morning a woman ran down the stairs hysterical crying. On the third night is was noisy again above us. On the 4th night a gentleman was outside yelling Betty Miller for 3 ish hours. Finally, the cops come and wow who knows what happened. Besides all this the pillows are awful. We stay in many many hotels and never have had such a poor experience. Although Nantucket is beautiful and we still had a nice vacation/birthday, this has left a very poor lasting impression of Nantucket Resort Hotels.

Lauren (10/5): - Wonderful and charming place! Easy to walk everywhere from there. We ended up not renting any bikes or cars because it was so doable on foot. We had the best time.
Sarah (8/5): - Our stay was great but beware of the room type when you purchase. We selected the Chapman Queen and ended up in a Petite Queen. We were able to switch our room on the 2nd night which was much bigger than the first night. Fantastic location and would definitely stay there again.
Rosalind (8/5): - Our room was very small which was not a problem, but the aircon unit was positioned so it blew directly on our faces in bed making it very uncomfortable. The second night we slept with the aircon off and the window open. Also, the floor of the room had a slope which meant the bed had a slope too 😂. If I stayed again I would ask not to have a room on the first (ground) floor. The hotel itself is perfectly located and was lovely, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Drinks and snacks were also available throughout the day.

Denise (10/5): Perfect Nantucket Stay - The inn was beautiful, clean, & well kept. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries that were amazing with delicious coffee. Snacks & beverages were available 24/7. Staff was attentive when needed. Location was great, easy 2-3 minute walk into town. Highly recommend.

Gina (10/5): Cozy stay with special touches everywhere you looked. - The location was perfect. Close to the main part of town. The decor and furnishings were beautiful. Loved the access to beach chairs and bikes. It was a bit pricey but a great deal for Nantucket.
Jan (10/5): Lovely spot in Nantucket town - We loved this hotel. The atmosphere and staff were lovely, the bed comfortable, breakfast simple but yummy, lots of amenities, and we loved the location, being close to the main part of town yet a little out of the way, so in a quiet neighborhood. The only negative was that the room was a little small - not the purported 250 sf., more like 200 sf, at most.

Scott (10/5): Nantucket stay - The location was perfect, walking distance to town. The breakfast is great continental. The community space is really convenient we were traveling with family and we used the screened in living area alot. Also there is outside seating with a firepit. They also have water, juice and snacks available all day..chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. Everything was perfect

Verified traveler (4/5): Good stay ruined by loud fire pit guests past 2am - There were loud guests by the fire pit until around 3am. Multiple attempts to reach someone at the property to ask them to move were not responded to. Ruined an otherwise good stay because of no sleep the last night.

Delicious breakfast! The availability of coffee and other beverages and snacks all day long was greatly appreciated. Comfortable and handsome room. Super friendly and accommodating staff.

Hayley (6/5): This was a beautiful hotel with very kind employees , but needs a little bit of TLC to call itself a 4 star stay. - The property was beautiful and very clean! The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It may have even been broken. It was very uneven and my husband and I had a difficult time sleeping the entire trip. For the entirety of our stay, we only received two rolls of toilet paper. We could hear our neighbors complaining about this as well and calling repeatedly for toilet paper. The lock to our door was broken and it took about a half hour to fix and it was obviously something that had happened before. Everyone that we met that worked there was incredibly kind and a lot of these issues seem fixable! Provide adequate toilet paper, change the locks on the doors, and make sure that the rooms are actually serviced when requested and that amenities are properly replaced.

B7770SLbrianm (10/5): outstanding customer service - Very nice stay, but the customer service from Alisha was truly outstanding. We visited during new years so she was running the show on her own. She was efficient, pleasant and helpful for all our requests while she prepared breakfast, cleaned the rooms and kept the inn running. We texted her for restaurant recommendations (most were closed) and she texted back immediately. When our ferry was delayed, she offered to let us stay as late as we liked. We had a problem with the bed in one room and she quickly moved us to another. Drinks and snacks available in the kitchen at all hours were great and the afternoon cookies (sometimes we caught them warm) were a nice treat. Very nice winter getaway.
Stephen (10/5): Wonderful family short stay in wintery Nantucket! - We had a wonderful family stay-over of one night! Arrived early and they let us drop bags. Walked all over charming downtown Nantucket and returned an hour or so before checkin. They allowed us to checkin early and lit the gas fireplace on the porch. It was dreamlike. Wonderful service and very nice breakfast. Thank you!
