- Latham (10/5): - This was a perfect spot before getting on the ferry at Tapee Pier. All expectations met and a 10 minute walk to the night market.

- Alba (10/5): Muy bien - El hotel está muy bien sobretodo las habitaciones
- Em (7/5): Ideal for a one night cheap stop over whilst travelling through - Staff very helpful although difficulties with language barrier the reception staff used their translation app to support our needs. Basic room, with minimal extras…no Kettle, hairdryer, minimal toilettes,
Breakfast very poor… toast would have been better with butter and information about the spreads provided. No juices… I don’t drink coffee or tea, so having this would have been nice.
- Tanakorn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Duncan (9/5): Superb -
- Olga (7/5): Ok for an overnight stay - Good location - walking distance to night market. Clean facilities The breakfast was a coffee and a cookie - suppose it’s nice to be offered something, but there were no clean dishes or cups.
- Lady (5/5): Passable - Pillows are super tin and we ask for extra and they charge us for the extra pillow.
- Noam (9/5): Superb - Went for one night before moving to Koh Tao,
Had everything we needed. Nice rooms, kind staff. Allowed us to keep our luggage after checkout. Big plus - there is an elevator A bit off the center, but not very far - 12 minute walk to night market

- Richard (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff, easy check-in process, security at the door. Nice complimentary breakfast. Good walking distance to town and bus station. - Ffion (10/5): Good location, comfy beds, perfect for a short stay. - comfy, large rooms. We stayed here prior to our trip to the islands. Night market 5 minute walk down the road and shops very close by. Everything we needed. Fresh water and bedding everyday. Only thing that could’ve been better was that we thought the balcony was bigger on the pictures than in real life and the lock didn’t work on the balcony door. Other than that, great stay.

- Macallum (8/5): Very good - Clean and tidy hotel. Good for one night stop over.
Bed was firm (Like most in Thailand)
- Norman (8/5): a very reasonable stay - location, cleanliness the bed was to hard
- Joel (10/5): Exceptional -
- leoa929 (4/5): Omg! - Hotel is Oriented on the Thai. The staf speaks poor English. Breakfast is for Thai people and is cold. Internet is worse. The rooms are nice and clean.
Overall, stay here for 1 night, arrive late and leave early.
- olliecross (8/5): 1 night stay - Pretty good hotel, was very quiet when we were there not much going on also not much to do around the hotel. Room was big and had small balcony. Swimming pools was decent size and had a small part where you could turn on the jets.
- deeuutee (6/5): Good for an overnighter - We stayed here while waiting for the morning ferry. The room was clean and basic, had a small fridge and a small balcony, AC but no fan. Bed was hard, as is normal in Thailand, but not as hard as some.
Staff didn't have a lot of English, but were helpful and called us a tuktuk in the morning to go to the ferry office. There is not much around the hotel as far as restaurants go, they directed us to a night market about a kilometre up the road. There is a shop about 100 metres up the rod for some supplies and snacks.
The only issue we had, there was no toilet paper. Had the usual hose, but not even a roll holder so it wasn't something that had been forgotten. There was a box of tissues in the room so it wasn't a real problem.
There was a bit of neighbourhood noise, barking dogs and car noise etc, but the hotel faces a laneway so it wasn't too loud.
Great cheap place to put your head down.
- 476curtm (6/5): Good for the price - A good basic hotel: shower, tv, bed, ac, wifi (not reliable), balcony. The bed was little better than the hard beds you often find in Thailand. No breakfast, only instant coffee in the lobby. The staff speaks little English and the hotel is not close to any restaurants. There are some food stands but they are not always open. The nearest 7/11 is about an 8 minute walk away. There's a good night market about 1km up the street. If it were in a better location and there were a few stores or shops nearby, I would give it a 4 for the price.
- zanadu1234 (6/5): Basic but fine for one night - We stayed here for one night on the way to Koh Samui. The rooms are basic but very clean and spacious. Wifi is good and the staff are very friendly but with limited English. Very good value for money though, only 590baht per night. Close to the night market and also to a very large, rather strange shopping mall called Sabathai Garden plaza where the majority of shops have closed down.
- 908marijkek (6/5): Spacious and clean room - We stayed here for one night. Room was really spacious and clean. The bed was good as well, didn't feel like you were laying on a concret slap for once. The location which is stated on the map isn't right though. It's way down down the road, approximately ten minutes walking from the point on the map. If you pass a big school complex it's on your right hand side.
- NoWayUCanStopMe (10/5): Better and cleaner the expected. - Stayed for single night waiting for flight to KL.
It's clean, have friendly staff, elevator, big room, free water, free internet, good shower and it's very cheap at 590,-THB for king size bed. Hard to bear that.
- ItsfionaW (10/5): Good enough for a hotel. Only one with balcony I could find in Surat. - Nice hotel. Clean. Secure entry system.
10 minutes walk from main town and night market. 5 minutes 7/11 for those who need easy pickings.
Friendly staff.
Free coffee and toast by reception in morning as no restaurant (better service than other popular tourist hotels)
Also coffee shop/convenience store on site, mainly open for school hours.
