• Jana Fulínová (10/5): Hotel je skvělý - Potřebovali jsme s rodinou přespat v Manchesteru na cestě zpět z dovolené. Zvolili jsme si tento hotel z důvodu jeho polohy, kdy bylo možné dostat se na hlavní pamětihodnosti pěšky nebo z blízké zastávky autobusu. Apartmán byl se dvěma ložnicemi, 2 koupelnami a kuchyní s obývákem. Jelikož jsme potřebovali přespat jen jednu noc, nevyužili jsme pračku, která byla na ubytování k dispozici. Ocenili jsme, že přestože jsme přijeli dříve, než byl check-in, tak personál nás i s dětmi pustil do pokoje dříve, takže jsme se mohli po dlouhé cestě opláchnout. To bylo opravdu milé. Po check outu jsme využili možnost, kdy nám na recepci schovali kufry, jelikož naše letadlo letělo až večer. Oceňuji i docházkovou vzdálenost na vlakové nádraží, ze kterého odjíždí vlaky na letiště. Hotel i pokoj byl čistý se vším, co člověk potřeboval. Vše bylo ok.

• Sally (10/5): Conveniently located in central Manchester and easy access to night life. - Centrally located. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were on the first floor and the street noise from late revellers interrupted my sleep. This is no fault of the hotel.

I also enjoyed that the property has a safety lock for when you are inside the apartment so it can’t be opened from the outside, even with a key card. This was great for me as a solo female traveller and allowed me to feel safe during my stay.

Quick walk from Piccadilly Station and handy for catching trams and the free buses, but also a comfortable walk to many top sites. Another window would have been nice. Also, our apartment felt quite spartan. Not much in the way warmth or charm.
• Rebecca Joy (10/5): It was a great stay, and I would be back again when I return. - The location is great - walkable from the train station which we came from, and also to various parts of the city centre. There is also a tram stop not far away which offers connection to other areas that are further away. Room is well equipped - comfortable beds with extra pillows, cooking facilities (microwave, toaster, oven), washer/dryer. The staff at reception were always warm and friendly, ready to help. We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our luggage at reception. When we came back later to check in, our luggage had already been moved up to our room, which was a nice touch! The surrounding area is generally quiet. If you are a very light sleeper, you would be able to hear occasional noise from the street below when people are walking by (laughter and talking), or sirens from vehicles. We stayed on the top floor and there were window blinds.

Well worth the money and staff could not be more helpful. Traveling with Daughter and a friend for a concert and staff assisted with booking an uber and locations the next day to check out before we left Manchester. only comment I have was lights in hallway were sensor activation but 1 of the sensors was broken.

Five minutes walk from Piccadilly Station, two blocks from the Garden with dozens of public transportation. A lot of places to go to eat and drink. The apartment is spacious and beautiful. • Nick (3/5): Decent Facilities, Dreadful Service - Facilities are basic but a good standard. The facilities are decent enough and reasonably well-maintained, but that’s about where the positives end. For the price point, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The staff were the biggest letdown, unhelpful, visibly put-out, and laser-focused on squeezing every penny. Want a late checkout or parking? Expect to be charged before you’ve even had a chance to think about it. In all my hotel stays, being made to pay upfront for extras before you can access them was a first and not a welcome one. It may be a Cove brand policy, and sure they’re well within their rights to state that. But it creates a transactional, unwelcoming atmosphere that’s hard to shake. To top it off, housekeeping knocked at 1pm sharp. Again technically within their rights, perhaps, but hardly the kind of gracious hospitality you’d hope for at this price. For what you pay, you’d honestly get a far warmer welcome and better value at elsewhere, save your money and book there next time.

• Luke (8/5): Quiet, comfortable, modern & great value for money - Good spacious layout to the apartments, lots of space in the bathroom, lounge & bedroom. Kitchen had a fridge with mini feezer inside, very handy. It had some nice plates & bowls, cutlery, etc. as well as soap & a tea towel for cleaning up, + more. It really feels like your own mini apartment, and for what you pay it's ridiculously good value. The lobby and corridors have a nice scented aroma to it, and brilliantly, it's not overwhelming because it doesn't seep into the rooms at all, which is a nice touch. Also worth mentioning the staff here are exceptional. They offered help to find my way around since it was my first time staying in Manchester, they were friendly over the phones and didn’t rush me to check out the following morning. All the main restaurants are in walking distance, you can find somewhere nice to eat just up the road. Some tiny mould marks around the shower, not the end of the world, many 4 & 5 star hotels have it, just worth removing ideally. The bedside lamps would flicker when the dimming wheel was at a certain point. Another very very minor detail was the shower head being impossible to angle straight. It would always turn to the right or left - something wrong with how the shower hose was fitted. Again, really minor and everything else was fantastic.

Absolutely perfect for Manchester marathon long weekend, and really would be great for any trip to Manchester if you prefer apartment living to a hotel. Just be aware that unlike some apartments I've stayed at, no kitchen essentials (oil, salt and pepper, etc.) are provided other than washing up liquid and some tea and coffee bits. Not a problem, just advice for travellers to bring/purchase their own.

Very friendly staff, we were able to drop our bags off early and also collect them later after we had checked out. Accommodation was immaculate, beds very comfortable and all in all we had a fabulous stay. We had a self catering apartment and the only criticism is that we could have done with a smaller saucepan.
