- Vaca (4/5): Mal - Limpio No me dieron lo q pedÃ
- Wayne (8/5): Nice and clean place to stay - Very clean No heater so the room was too cold for this weather
- Jim (6/5): -
- MARGARET (10/5): - .
- Johnny (8/5): Very good -
- Donnis (5/5): Passable - Location. Good manager. Very loud ac unit
- Leo (2/5): Not as advertised - I did not stay. After driving off my route to stay there, I showed up at the location. It was not in a safe location and was not as advertised.
- Donald (2/5): - I didn't research this hotel because we had to find a room due to get away from a hurricane. I regretted my choice as I got there. The room was smokey smelling and staff swears the room was newly repainted. The chairs' cushion were ripped. The staff could not take customer's credit cards without the hotel's owner's approval. Same with refunds. Ridiculous. The worst hotel I ever been at period. We left the premises immediately as fast as we could.
- Rebecca (6/5): Close to the springs but not clean nor comfy - Motel served it's purpose but that was about it. Beds were hard as rocks, may as well have slept on the floor. Found rat droppings under the beds. Had window AC that barely cooled the 300 sq ft room. Only opted to book due to how close in proximity to De Leon springs to be close enough to make it to the springs before capacity was hit on the 4th of July. If your looking for a comfy likely cleaner stay, this isn't it.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Cory (6/5): - Need mirror in bathroom. Need new beds.
- Yu (8/5): not luxurious but it has everything you need - Large and spacious Not very sanitary
- Gary (7/5): Good -
- Kemling (1/5): Bad - Location was good One of the best was wet from a previous occupant. When told management, were disgusted by the situation and were leaving, asked about a refund, was told they would get another mattress but no refund.
So after being there about 2hrs we left.
- Waples (10/5): Exceptional -
- Delaney (2/5): - The place was dirty and unsafe. Was harassed by the staff and the overall experience was the worst I have had at a hotel. There are sketchy hotels and then there is one, I did not even stay the night. I chose to drive home at 2 am after an exhausting day vs staying there. This is not a safe establishment on all accounts.
- eric (6/5): -
The smell of the room was not present. Being a Florida Boy the one roach did not bother me much.
so close, the room was freshly painted with nice tile bath but the little things did not mach the new look: heater cover needed paint, furnishings need a coat of paint to hide stains, They may still be working on the updates.
- Terrion (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terrion (9/5): Superb -
- Rodrigo (3/5): Poor -
- Amy (4/5): - Disappointed, needs a good cleaning.
- Donna (2/5): Worst stay in my life - This was the worst place I have ever stayed. When we arrived there was a drunk person by the office. The room was dirty and there we're roaches. No wash clothes or clean towels. Management was a joke. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
- Silvey (5/5): Passable - could use little cleaning and painting staff was nice
- Mary (5/5): need new blankets and sheets - fair poor
- Wanda (3/5): will not stay there again -
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Dirty, I did not take my shoes off. The smell is horrible.
- Evan (4/5): - Horrible
- James (8/5): - Was clean room , quite, was just there to lay my head down.
- Richard (2/5): - Motel was straight out of the fifties. It's a good thing my wife wasn't with me she would have never stayed there.
- Candace (2/5): - The office was a mess and smelled like stale cigarettes. The room was so disgusting we turned in our key and left we could not even stay there. Filthy stained sheets , a back door to the kitchen that didn't close , it had a 1/2 inch gap. No safety lock on it, anyone could have had a key to it. And it opened to the outside you couldn't even put a chair under the knob. The bathroom was disgusting. I will never book through Expedia again ,they should be ashamed to book that hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No need to stay here. 3 dead cockroaches on the floor, pool of brown water on the bathroom floor, mold along the bottom of the walls, and it smelled like a bug bomb. We chose to not stay and surrendered our money, that's how bad it was.
- Jennifer (6/5): Tangerine - Pretty good..updated room service was crap
- Verified traveler (2/5): - horrible
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I don't recommend that anyone stay at this hotel. I surely was shocked when I checked in. Unprofessional check in, the one level hotel was rundown and was obvious it wasn't cared for. The room itself was pretty barren ~ old blankets, dead cricket on closet floor that could have/should have been removed before someone took that room. Hot water took forever to come on, but it finally did. This delightful room cost me around $100! I was shocked at what I got for my money. Again, I don't recommend this motel for anyone.
- Anthony (6/5): Mid grade level - Flew in very late, at 1am. Had to call the manager to come to door, which understandably, was late and he was not supposed to be working at that time. But the location did allow us to book it after midnight. For the area and timing it was ok. The room was outdated and bed was not too comfortable but the bathroom was remodeled. I was only there for 8 hours so it was ok for that timeframe.
- Juanita (2/5): Terrible room - This place is nasty. Ppl live there in the rooms full time. No where to park either. No soap no shampoo no coffee pot. Nothing. Bed spread has burn holes. Entire place was dirty.
- CHRISTINE (4/5): Sleeping in my car has provided a better stay. - The room smelled so horrible. Clean enough but there was only a fitted sheet, flat sheet and coverlet, no blanket.
My blacklight flashlight showed clean sheets ( coverlet not so much) but wouldn't recommend touching any surface or the walls.
Sad Strip club across the street with cops at it half the night. My boyfriend was offered 30 min with an old stripper for $200, so i can take a good guess at why the cops were there.
Also i was meeting someone and called ahead so that they could go ahead and check in but was told no, never had an issue doing this at another hotel, so forget good customer service. When i complained about the room smell was told they hadn't smelled anything.
No ice. The fridge was unplugged and never cooled overnight so our bottles of water never cooled.
Other patrons looked like they may live there because there was outside children's toys all over the side walk and the couple 2 doors has some issues they really need to work out and a baby that took forever to be quiet. I say this as a mother of 2 with a lot of sympathy for parents.
This place may need to change their business model to pay by the hour.
- Paul (2/5): - No sufficient heater, no cable TV, no vent fan in bathroom, no coffee maker or area to get/make coffee, no maid service, no phone, no hair dryer.... in other words no room accommodations or service that would make this close to the >$100.00 spent.
- pam (10/5): - close to things we needed to do priced right very friendly and helpful staff will stay again every year now
- Bob (8/5): - Appearance was a little disturbing upon reaching our destination, however very friendly and clean, some long term residents gave the appearance of a noisy environment but very quiet. I fell asleep with the key in my door but no one even attempted to cause any security issue, staff and residents very watchful, aside from the price of this faciloty i eould stay again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Orbitz should not be charging more than $40 a night for this place. It is as bad as it can get when it comes to motels. Roaches, blood spots, dirty sheets, cigarette burns in the mattress. Whole place smells like cigarettes. I got charged $100 total for this room for one night, absolutely ridiculous. I just needed a quick place to sleep for a few hours and every other hotel in the area was sold out so got stuck staying here. At least nothing of mine got stolen but maybe I was lucky.
- Verified traveler (4/5): One of the worst places I've stayed at - I stayed here for one night and wasn't expecting much. Unfortunately, it didn't even live up to that. Both the room and bathroom were dirty, and the bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable. The unplugged mini fridge's door was left open and had rust in it. The cheap bathroom towels were rough on the skin and the toilet paper was ridiculously thin. Overall, not a pleasant experience.
- Jean (10/5): My Opinion Counts : - I live in Deland.. Hurricane Dorian was coming this way.. and decided on the Tangerine Inn. It was clean and comfortable. Bed was awesome.and recently remodeled . My room had a refrig and micro.. Very sound proof and appreciated the accommodations. ;-) Just wish this place allowed pets, especially during a hurricane :-(
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It is old and the place was not something I would have my yard dog stay at. It had a lot of remodeling done to it but it had a bad smell in both rooms they tried to put me in. So I didn't even stay there and I spent 200.00 on it just to leave after 10 minutes later.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - very nice
- Verified traveler (4/5): not worth what we paid - The AC did not work for the 2 days we were there. The toilet was leaking, and the shower barely got hot.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Absolutely nothing to like. we had some of our own blankets in the car and used them. they refused wash cloths. floors pitifully dirty. cobwebs every where. this was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. it should be closed and torn down. no place to park except on the entrance road. this was truly the most disgusting place I have ever stayed and wouldn't have except they had charged my cc three days before arrival.
- Louis (8/5): Two nites at Tangerine Inn - TheTangerine Inn was just fine.Simple, clean, nice mattress,quiet-not fancy-but nice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cockroaches anyone?! - There was a huge cockroach on the wall when we walked into our room. The man at the front desk was very unpleasant and extremely rude.
- annie (6/5): Clean and basic - Adding a coffee pot an extra rubbish bin and a hook on the bathroom door would have made this very clean but basic room nicer
- Verified traveler (4/5): picture not worth 1,000 words.
- internet not working. Small amenties like tv schedule, better pillows... missing.
- Robert (2/5): Pass on this place - Unfriendly check in. Office clustered and dirty. Room large but very poorly furnished, bed fair, cheap towels no washcloths and no blanket. Very overpriced for what received.
- Tommy (6/5): Nice and clean. Base board heaters suck, cold ass - Very nice staff. Freshly updated. Needs additional heating.
- Bill (8/5): Friendly staff and rooms were very clean. - By the exterior and knowing this is an old motel, the rooms were very clean and comfortable beds. Nice Interior paint. The staff was very friendly.
- John (10/5): A pleasent supprise - Room was clean, recently remodeled. A few baseboards missing. Front desk was very nice. TV has antenna reception, and works well. Bed was comfortable.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing - I appeared at this hotel and found it was unsuitable and cancelled my reservation in person. This is a one level motel and not a hotel. It seems that this place in a residence off a highway. This room I was scheduled for did not seem very secure as the back door (on ground level) was in a kitchen location. I was told that the place was under renovation, however was still not suitable and the location was not good. The room was clean, yet the place appeared dingy. I would not recommend this place as a hotel.
- Tommy (2/5): Nothing to see here, move along! - Could never recommend this place. Noisy and extremely dated.
- Matthew (4/5): Old fashion roadside motel - Very old place. Rooms were recently redone. Mattress was VERY comfortable. My room was very clean. NO Amenities at this place.
