• sonalib72 (10/5): Paifect (Perfect) in all ways!!! - A long due trip to Tirupati was fulfilled and so perfectly and the stay at Pai Viceroy Hotel, played an important role as I was travelling solo and I felt so much at ease and at home the minute I entered the reception on 2nd Feb 2026 late evening! I had found many a hotels while researching but the three main reasons I stuck with this one was that it was rated very safe for solo women travellers and secondly for its perfect location and thirdly it was owned by a fellow GSB like me..which gave me some silly comfort during my apprehensions about solo travel. The staff at the reception are very warm and helpful. The check in was super quick and smooth. I loved the option on their website of paying 50% in advance for the booking and the rest once you check in! My mountain facing room was super neat and I had views of the Kapilatheertam Temple lighting right from my room window. Most importantly, the room had a safe wherein I left my brand new Samsung S25 ultra, extra cash, digital watch etc when I visited Tirumala for the darshan. A number safe in the room is most important as most temples in Tirupati do not allow electronic items including digital watches and many leave these items with their cab drivers or locker rooms at the temple. On the first evening I explored their gorgeous Gufha multi cuisine restaurant on the top floor (5th)..loved the way they have created a playarea for kids in this concept restaurant. Though, I was shown many restaurants enroute by the cab driver, which serve good thali meals, I loved the food at Pai Viceroy that I just did not feel the need to try any other restaurants during my 3 nights stay. Loved the gulab jamuns and the dosa's...the South Indian in me was truly happy! The breakfast spread is good and the filter coffee is fantastic. They do have a travel desk at the hotel but I did not use their services. Location of this hotel is just perfect close to Kapila Theertam temple 500 mtrs, Iskcon Temple 1 km and gates to Tirumala just about 2kms away. The bus stop for local AC buses plying to Tirumala is few steps away from the hotel. On my 3rd evening here I did a walking tour of 3 temples in the near vicinity. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to revisit Pai Viceroy Tirupati in the near future.

• ssprasaad (8/5): One of the well maintained hotels in Tirupati - Our three days' stay was pleasant. Rooms were compact but neat. House keeping by Padmini, Sajid excellent; supervised by B. Subramanyam in 4th floor. Breakfast was wide spread and good. Restaurant staff Guna, Vinod, Sridevi (with spectacles... unsure of the name) and Avantika, supervised by Mr Chandrasekhar, were attentive. Mrs Haseena Bee, house keeping member, always maintained neatness in the restaurant and in the front office. Overall experience was very good. The front office staff viz., Hemanth, Jaideep, Naveen and Sonia need special mention. These are quite efficient and committed, with a zeal to serve the customers, despite the every day heavy rush, ensuring smooth check-in and flexible check out process. Mr Balachandra has got very good manners. He is successfully leading his team. He is also lucky to have such agile front office executives. Only glitch is that reply mails sent by me before arrival to the given email ID went unnoticed by backend/reservations team. They need not call if mails are promptly attended. Time to focus attention on this one.

• preethams2013 (10/5): Excellent stay - Excellent stay. The hospitality offered is no less than the best of the 5 star hotels. The food is excellent as well. Hot water is available 24/7. Rooms are very clean, comfortable with ac, fan. The location is very close to Kapilateertham and the Thirumala check-point. Lot of ATMs near-by including the bus stop to head to Thirumala. Extremely high value for money. Tip: Book directly from the Pai Viceroy web-site. That offers the lowest rates.
• 353prateeks (8/5): Decent Stay with Room for Improvement - Our stay at the hotel was overall fine, though not without its ups and downs. Positives: Breakfast was nice and enjoyable. The room wasn’t very spacious, but when requested, the staff provided an extra bed which was helpful. Negatives: * The check-in staff explained that snacks in the room were chargeable, which felt confusing and inconvenient—especially with kids, since it’s hard to monitor what they eat. The explanation wasn’t clear and didn’t feel welcoming. Moreover why the need of keeping those in room if it is not provided. My suggestion - have a snacks counter or vending machine on every floor. * The extended stay charges were poorly communicated. I was fine paying extra for 6–7 hours, but the way the figures were explained seemed inconsistent. Later, another staff member quoted an additional 1K on top, which felt fishy. * Regarding cab booking - The travel desk wasn’t much help. I’d recommend booking cabs from outside instead. Overall: A decent stay with good breakfast and responsive service when asked, but the communication and customer handling need improvement.
• Sunshine63598728616 (10/5): Pleasant Stay at Pai Viceroy Hotel Tirupathi - I did two rooms booking for two nights stay through Hotel Manager Sri Bala. Our stay was excellent in all aspects from smooth checkin, house keeping, dining and till check out. We stayed in suite rooms with hill view. Very nice. Break fast pure vegetarian dishes and delicious. Hot dosa and puri were served. Main Credit goes to Mr Bala and the chef. And the best part is vegetarian restaurant at ground floor and non vegetarian restaurant in top floor. So, for vegetarians like us, it was very much comforting. Enough car parking also. In future, whenever going to Tirupathi, we will stay in this hotel without any further thinking.

The room service manager was very kind to serve us food himself. The room service people are always available if u need anything. I cudnt ask for more when I came with my entire family for the divine dharshan of Lord Venkateswaran. I have stayed here twice now. The hotel is neatly maintained , the breakfast is awesome and the location is perfect. On the whole the entire staff is wonderful. Pls do consider this hotel if you need a pleasant experience.

Then they charged full price for the small room. 2) Charged for the service which I never used. 3) Staff members asking for money wherever is possible even for small talk. 4) No option to return money for the service which we never used. 5) sweet talk till you pay money, after that staff response becomes bossy. 6) No proper communication or details what services include in the service and what not. 7) gives only one key. Even after asking for extra. Don't worry Sir we will open ur room if you loose the key. Don't worry Sir you call us if someone with key stuck inside the room. Don't lock the door if someone is sleeping and if you want to step out for a bit. 8) some staff are very rude. 9) finally 1 star service for 4star money.

I’m so impressed, at the time of my reservation, I had requested the reservation team for early check-in & at the time of check-in it was smoothly done without any delay. The staff at the reception is very friendlier, they have given some suggestions for local temples to visit. I had buffet breakfast in pure veg restaurant, it was amazing. I must say, everything I read was absolutely true and my expectations were exceeded. Hospitality & Service: The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly its hospitality. Every employee is well-trained, professional, and most importantly, genuinely warm. They always greet you with a smile, which speaks volumes about the positive culture and management. Rooms & Amenities: The rooms are spacious, neat, and well-maintained with all the basic amenities provided, including complimentary bottled water. Daily housekeeping keeps both the bedroom and bathroom spotless. Food & Dining: The complimentary breakfast is outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious South Indian items. Over our two-night stay, the menu was different each day, which was impressive. Dinner at the hotel was also excellent—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Overall Stay: Our two-night stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. I sincerely appreciate the staff and management for making the experience memorable. Kudos to the entire team for such dedication. Recommendation: The only suggestion I would make is to add a concierge desk to assist pilgrims with temple-related arrangements. It would add great value for those visiting Tirupati for darshan. P.S. – At checkout, I noticed a senior staff member (in a black suit) yelling at one of the receptionists in front of me . Right after that, she still greeted me politely with a smile and asked about my stay. I felt bad for her, and I believe such feedback should be shared privately, not in front of customers.

Boycott this group of hotels ! - Extremely insensitive & arrogant Front Desk persons during my arrival on 14th June at 9:30 am The guy gives me form & asks me to write my mobile number & email ID. I told him that my mobile number is available with the hotel as I had got a call on 13th June evening asking me the time of my arrival. But the arrogant front desk clerk insisted that it is their procedure ! Then I was made to wait for nearly 15-20 minutes before a room could be given. While checking out, the front desk clerk made me sign two copies of the invoice and said “That’s all”. When I asked for my copy of the invoice, she said it will be mailed to me. Till now, the invoice hasn’t come. If the invoice was supposed to sent by email, then why was I made to sign two copies ? No answer for this. That’s why I say this hotel is totally insensitive & arrogant. Please avoid or rather boycott this hotel !

• ESRMURTHY (8/5): A good hotel I would recommend for a short stay - The room was up to expectations- spacious , clean and mostly sound -proof, something essential for a pilgrim town. The staff were efficient; though they could be more friendly. The food in the restaurant was good and bad. The breakfast was delicious and the service was good too. However, the much -touted lunch was a disappointment. It was typical Andhra cuisine , spicy to the extent it will repel many from the other states. Considering the Hotel receives guests from all over India, it could be more balanced. The menu card could display items that are extra spicy using standard norms, so that the guest is suitably fore-warned while choosing the dishes.
