- Terry (6/5): - Close to where we needed to be. Bad lighting, uneven walkways, shower head didn't work properly, couldn't darken the room in the day time, shower very hard to get in and out of.
- Dean (10/5): - Great staff very unique incredible restaurant !! Burger was amazing
- Gralnik (7/5): -
- Matthew (10/5): - Igreat
- VITORIA (6/5): - They close check in at 8pm, and I found that a little
- Dustin (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): - Just wish there was EV charging on property
- geoff (6/5): - The place is very dated
- Kathryn (2/5): - The size of the room, and location to where I wanted to be. Where do I start. Our first room the ac didn't work the room was dirty and the beds moved every time you sat on them. We got moved to a different room ac worked ok but still needed fans to even more the air. The water presser was better in a garden hose then this shower. It was coming out more in the bathtub then the shower part. The shower was in a big jetted tub that was a safety hazard as it is very slick stepping into it. The toilet was almost to the ground. The room looked like a remodel a kindergarten did as half the walls were painted or had puddy on them. The room was dirty the staff was partially helpful. This place has so much potential with lack of care into it.
- Matthew (7/5): - Clean, big rooms Showerhead didn’t work properly
- Alfred (10/5): The resort was so nice !! It was such a nice quiet and beautiful stay .. the staff was so nice . We will definitely be g - The property was so nice!! The room was nice !!
- Georgina (4/5): - Not at all what I expected, old and dirty
- Jordan (10/5): - Great
- Robert (6/5): - The property was fine for our stay. We needed a 2 night stay to hike at Pinnacle National Park. It was clean enough but out dated. It was probably a very nice stay in the 80's but updates could be used. Beats staying at a motel 6.
Overall it was fine.
- P (9/5): Superb -
- Virginia (4/5): Bathroom sink - Bathroom sick was dirty floors were dirty. Overall it was a dirty room
- Scott (1/5): Nice location, nice price. The property has seen better days. Needs to be refreshed. - Location. Price. Shabby conditions. Unfinished drywall repairs, needs paint, Curtains did not cover windows. Curtain dragged on floor/dirty. Lights did not function properly. Shower head needs to be replaced. Refrigerator did not function properly.
- Angela (2/5): - The beds were uncomfortable. The toilet rocked and the fan in the bathroom was loud. We cut our trip short.
- Virginia (4/5): Disappointing -
- Faith (10/5): - Loved it very quiet clean nice spot
- Abigail (4/5): - Unfortunately I paid way more money than the property is worth. The room was dirty and not ADA accessible. The tub was a jacuzzi tub with no step in shower option. We requested toilet paper because there was little provided for 2 people. Coffee maker was dirty (only option if you want coffee) no room service...microwave, sitting on top of mini fridge but not bolted down, didnt work and Im pretty sure thats an OSHA inspection write up! The size of room was nice but in the winter Hollister is very cold so the old heater was loud and we couldnt use the energy save because it was really loud! Had to keep getting up to turn on and off...no in between temperature option. TV no cable, local channel's only.
- Janelle (2/5): - The facility is very run down and dirty. The staff treat you like an inconvenience. I have stayed before out of proximity to family and hoped it had improved. It has not and we won’t be back.
I’ve noticed now the complete disregard and lack of accountability in mgmt replies on other bad reviews. Just awful.
- Randy (1/5): Bad -
- Randy (1/5): Room had no hot water and was filthy - No hot water room filthy
- Heather (6/5): - our 2 King room was large, but very dark even with all the lights on and curtains open. the AC was LOUD and struggled a bit in the space. We never got the internet to work, no matter which 'golf' option we tried. Water pressure was great. Hotel staff not super helpful. It was reasonably priced and we felt safe and comfortable. I would stay again but know that I was using my mobile hot spot.
- Julian (6/5): - Room amenities are a bit outdated. Very open rooms and great restaurant/bar.
- Tenille (9/5): Superb - Nice room, clean, spacious Definitely could upgrade the bathrooms fixtures but it was clean so it was fine
- Andrew (4/5): - Wasn’t that up to date
- Karen (8/5): - The room has pretty basic furnishings, a comfy chair or something would be nice.
- Gina (4/5): Nope, not again. - The room had vinyl flooring that was dirty, the bathroom sink didnt drain, the shower/tub was ancient and the showerhead was broken so it shot out a single stream of water like a garden hose. Towels were the cheapest threadbare scratchy things you could find. I realized after the first night the sliding glass door had not been closed all the way or locked when I arrived. The wifi would connect but there was rarely any internet service. The mattress was very old, the springs could be felt and the pillows were flat and almost useless even when stacked 3 high. The TV had no streaming services available and the remote control was for the wrong TV (Philips remote for Vizio TV) so most of the button controls didnt function. Checking into the hotel after dark was very difficult, the Open Key wasnt working so I had to find the front desk (which was nearly impossible) because it was poorly lit and signage was non existant. Last but not least, the bar and grill onsite stopped serving food at 830 (even on a Friday night) so very little available here for a guest.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Great! - Easy to find; plenty of off street parking; clean; fridge/coffee maker/microwave in room/ quiet location/comfortable/easy room entry with virtual key
- David (8/5): - Great
- Len (5/5): good value - there was no breakfast could have vacuumed room better like under bed
- Jeremy (9/5): Superb -
- Samantha (8/5): It was perfect - It was great, the only thing was the size of the television and distance from bed Bigger television
- Kelly (6/5): - There were no ice machines that we could find on the property. No staff available after hours. No phones in the rooms. Property and golf course were beautiful.
- Robin (6/5): I would stay there again to learn golfing and upgrade to a better room. - The property outside the rooms/lodges were nice and kept clean. The gold rounds were spectacular and I’m not a golfer yet.. The interior of the lodges looked dated, old and not ADA capable. The lodge rooms could have had a small couch/settee area and a cabinet to hang clothing. There was lots of wasted space in the rooms. The mattresses felt that they were “not changed out in years”. The microwave and tiny dorm style refrigerator were stacked together in the bathroom sink area. The bathtub would have been risky for an elderly person or someone with disabilities to get in and out of. An accident waiting to happen. The patio area outside the rooms were ok. The chairs outside needed to be cleaned more frequently as they were covered in dust and dirt. The interior rooms looked run down with minimalist furniture. There were 2 EV 40 kwh chargers but only one was available, -1- CCS, -1- chadmo. Had to call the 800 number to help with the process of initiating a charge, need the app to charge, call support was very helpful.
- Prince (10/5): - This was a simple check in check out process. For the view you couldn’t beat the price during Car Week…very practical lodging.
- Luca (8/5): Very good -
- Eva (8/5): Great place! - The room was nice and roomy and clean. Room had all the amenities, microwave, refrigerator etc...
- Gilbert (7/5): Good - The bathtub was slippery, when taking a shower
- Marlene (7/5): Good - Beautiful setting!! Comfortable bed. I think property needs some TLC!!!!
Very dated.
- Wendee (4/5): - Not worth the money. Bed and pillows were terrible. Room was smelly. Housekeeping opened door 1.5 hours before we checked out. Yes, she knocked bit there weren’t that many ppl there and it’s not keyless entry so front desk should have said we didn’t return the key yet.
- Raul (2/5): Worse hotel/ resort in California - You would think a cottage at a golf course, would have a view, not the parking lot, these units were built in 70's, with no renovations, and poor maintenance, heat and AC, out of old beat up wall unit, club house over 200 yards away, all ice machines removed from units, you gave to drive to the club house for ice, web site claims to offer breakfast, but they stopped that 4 years ago, bushes over growth covering security lighting, 7 police cars, came in at midnight, lights and sirens, didn't leave for 2 hours, then someone knocked on door. Sleepless night, no security, no front desk after 9pm , no phone in rooms,
- Cook (5/5): Very Un Helpful girls at the Front Desk ! - Had a lot of trouble at the Front Desk ! Unqualified help ! Couldn't get into our room because of the Stupid Door system ! Have to put an app on your phone to open the doors ! Very Inconvenient ! Tried and Tried 20 minutes to open door. They kept saying use your phone ! They could have made a Key. The unqualified girl at the desk never mentioned You Had to Have your Bluetooth On ! Thats all it Took ! They Need Training ! All of the Above Not going to Rewright it all !
- Verified traveler (8/5): - While the stay was overall decent, the rooms were terribly outdated and worn. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and pillows were paper thin and sweat stained.
- Carol (10/5): - The room is spacious. The view of golf court from the room is very relaxing.
- William (2/5): - There was no wifi in the first room that they gave us, the "heater" that they had was in bad shape and was just an air conditioner working in reverse basically. Then when we complained about there being no wifi we had to go walking around to find a place that did have it (room 70). Then they moved us to there. In that room there were 2 king beds, one of the beds had a stain on the sheet that looked a lot like blood. The jet tub in the room also did not work and the control on the wall was busted. The only reason to stay here is if you like to play golf and got too drunk to drive home. Other than that save your money and stay in town. The lack of care that is being shown from the staff attitude to the lack of investment into the property or even enough to just clean the dang sheets is blaringly obvious.
- George (10/5): - Ran out of hot water when in the shower
- Kevin (8/5): - Old buildings, but good price. Bar and food on site.
- Ray (8/5): Very good -
- Nicki (1/5): Filthy sheets, had to find another hotel in the middle of the night. - When we arrived we found the sheets were dirty. Two spots of what looked to be blood soaked through the sheets to the mattress cover below. It was after hours and we were unable to reach anyone. Had to find snother place to stay in the middle of the night. Later the next day they returned my messages to say it was hit sauce not blood. Either way… filthy sheets. Disgusting.
- Bruce (6/5): - First, I stayed at a pet friendly room with my cats (yup I’m that guy) so the regular rooms might be set up differently.
The positive is the view are of the golf course and are so relaxing and beautiful. Can’t beat it. And nice back patio to sit and look at the view.
Also it is easy to get there, just a 10 minute drive south of downtown. Finally, the price is reasonable.
Unfortunately the positives end there. The room was old and not well maintained (clean, but not maintained). Bathroom light did not work, internet was spotty at best, the pillows were lumpy, the furniture was a box store table and chairs and a tv, etc.
Will I stay there again? Well, yes. It is unique to find a place where you can bring pets with no extra charge.
- Natalie (4/5): - Need to upgrade bathroom
- Sylvia (5/5): Was okay. For the price, was a little underwhelmed with the cleaning, bedding and towels. - Location worked well for visiting the east side of Pinnacles National Park. Close to town. While the aesthetic of the room was nice and it was spacious and the view looked out into the golf course which was nice. The floor could use some cleaning (walked around after showering and my feet got dirty). Towels were quite thin. One of the chairs had sticky substance on it which I wiped off before sitting in. Mattresses were firm/thin. Bedding was warm though.
- Mariah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (8/5): - Dog friendly
- Paul (10/5): Looking out on the GoldCourse - We stayed two nights to visit family. The check in was easy. We were able to check in early with no problems. The one issue was the tub. It was a jacuzzi shower tub that did not work and that was very moldy. Overall, the hotel is above average and we would stay there again.
- cynthia (4/5): - Missing light bulbs in the lamp by my bed. Missing and different size bulbs in the bathroom. No shampoo and bath soap in the container on the wall of the shower. No facial tissue. Towels looked dirty.
- Kylee (6/5): Overall it was wonderful-just freezing! - Grounds are beautiful. The room was freezing-the heater turned off every three minutes and when it was on, it wasn’t even warm. We stayed there after and before our wedding. Also-no phones in the rooms seemed a bit odd!
- Michael (4/5): Disappointing -
- Cindy (6/5): This is an old facility and would love to see some upgrades, activities and events. - We liked the cleanliness and location. The cocktails were good. The heater did not work. Would have loved breakfast, but not available.
- Thomas (4/5): Don’t stay here - Very very spartan room, very dated. Noisy heater, handle on shower was not attached so we couldn’t control flow of water, sink was really old and beat up, no smoke alarm at all, spare blanket was full of holes, NO WiFi, TV remote did NOT work and no dresser or storage for clothes. Also bed quilt was like my grandmas but dirty.
- Sherry (10/5): Healing, POSITIVE, SAFE , Staff go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make you feel at home in the SPECTACULAR HILLS OF BEAUTIFUL HOLLI - GORGEOUS VIEWS!!!! Needs a CD lil face lift ( like us~ all baby boomers
- Ramirez (3/5): Poor - Yes you know what's rattling all night didn't let me sleep
- Cindy (6/5): - The property is very outdated! The room window coverings barely cover the windows and my room was on the golf course. Decor from 1979 and the bathroom was old and cold. It has potential to be a nice location if it was updated. On a positive-the room size was large.
- Martin (8/5): - Friendly staff, Pet friendly, Waking up to a beautiful view of the golf course. (these were all a Plus). Enjoyed our stay most relaxing. Only suggestion for our room is that it needs to upgrade the curtains which were kinda see thru. Shower area was awsome with the exception of the high bath tub which is kinda hard for us elderly people to hurdle over. Other than that it was Great.
- Johnny N (10/5): - Came out of the woods after an arduous 3 day quail hunting trip. Desk gave me an early check in (thank you!). Cleaned up, slept and enjoyed the bar and grill. Ample space in the room and view was great.
- April (6/5): - While the atmosphere around the complex is nice, calm and relaxing a few things need improvement. Breakfast is not available. You must drive for any food prior to 11:00 am. The bathrooms are very old and most sinks, tubs, tiling and fixtures need updating.
- Valerie (8/5): Served its purpose for my brief stay. - Room absolutely need work. My stay was brief. Opening the door with open key concept was somewhat frustrating.
- Howard (6/5): - Getting stuck with a pet room when we don’t have a pet!
- Rebecca (10/5): - Huge clean room....very quiet 😊
- Donald (5/5): Passable -
- Len (6/5): it worked - the
view from the room, and the 2 beds , parking was great the food was not good in the restaurant and the service was bad as we had to on patio because of the dog and only 1 heater worked and cig. butts everywhere , only warm water to bathe by , room painted by a 10yr old in bathroom
- Christopher (8/5): - No breakfast options. Spa tub with shower was not safe for seniors. Could have used comfortable chair or small sofa in the unit.
- Jose (4/5): - Need improve the rooms
- Kanstantsin (9/5): Superb -
- Regina (10/5): - We had a good time. Room was nice and clean. It was nice and quiet there:
- Martha (9/5): Superb - The price...rooms are old fashion..
Need to be updated, but very clean and comfortable. Patio very dusty..and pillows pretty flat, but rooms spacious and clean.
- Luciano (4/5): - Fue un hermoso hotel hace 30 años atrás
- Weiwen (7/5): Good -
- Billie (2/5): -
The Room we had had what looked like a lot of Mold in the Bathroom and ceiling and a musty smell. The room in general looked clean but the bathrooms were terrible. My children had 2 other rooms with the same problem the appearance of mold looked like it was under the grouting between the tile and Tub. We are older and the access to the tub for a shower was not good. Also the pressure of the water from the shower could not be regulated in our room the shower head was not working to turn it down.
- supriya (2/5): - The room A/C was not working, couldn’t check-in in time and drive from LA for 7 1/2 hours and couldn’t take shower, since water tap broke. Horrible experience p
- Cathy (8/5): Very good -
- Frank (8/5): - This hotel was supposed to have a hot breakfast in the morning , when we went down for breakfast we were told that the people who set it up never showed up this morning so we had no breakfast
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Jeff (6/5): Slightly disappointing - The employees were very nice, and the area looks good, but the room left a little to be desired. The amenities are a bit outdated, but have recently been repainting. The room is huge, but wasn't very clean. Under the beds were dusty, there was a beer cap and a baby carrot, who knows how long they were down there. The extra blankets in the closest was covered in human hair and dust bunnies, the iron was dirty, and the coffee machine had a European plug that we had to call the front desk to get swapped out with a regular plug.
- William (4/5): Low price but not in good condition. - Screen door to patio was damage and fell off. Latch/handle on sliding glass door to patio did not work. Curtain on door old and crusty. Rooms are huge but, everything is old and in poor condition. Refrigerator freezer was iced over. Restaurant (few customers) takes 20 minutes to place order and another 20 minutes to get the food. Location is very nice and rooms are huge (like 3 times the size of most hotel rooms).
- Davis (10/5): Exceptional - The greens were perfect. Attention to detail on course. Aeration of fairways are needed. Maybe some breakfast items in pro shop to accommodate your resort guest. A little bigger TV in the rooms
- Patrick (4/5): Disappointing - Dud not have breakfast location was nice but the room had paunt spots that were touched uo and verry visible. was not impressed with that
- Alice (10/5): Spacious rooms, super pet-friendly, amazing staff - We booked the pet-friendly double king and the room was so spacious, stocked with thoughtful amenities (like makeup wipes), and even pet supplies! Check-in had a mobile online alternative which was hugely helpful as it was hard to time our visit with all the traffic on memorial day weekend. On top of it all, the hotel staff were truly amazing!!
- frank (6/5): - Cound use a coffee shop or even vending machine
- Gary (7/5): Good -
- Jamie (4/5): - The property is convenient and the front desk staff is friendly. However my husband was charged $25 for a late checkout at 11am??? The desk clerk insisted that checkout was at 9am but it clearly says 11am on expedias website. Bath had hairs, pillows are dingy and housekeeping staff were seen smoking outside of the room next door as well as repeatedly saying the F word while talking to each other. Weird. Maintenance in the rooms is sad with random color paint patches, missing smoke alarm and silicone sealer used to fill in a broken tile. The bathroom was also missing a light. Pretty sad since the rooms are large and have potential to be great if the owners would invest in a remodel. For the price you could stay anywhere else in town and have a better experience.
- Cherie (1/5): Bad -
