- adrienne (9/5): - Breakfast was great value. As I was visiting family who lived close by the location was excellent. Staff were courteous, friendly & very helpful. The only thing I didn't like were the sunlounges inside the pool area, I would say they were the most uncomfortable I've ever used.
- Erika (5/5): Good for our convenience and access to family close by, not good value for the price paid. - Location was what we needed. Undercover parking was good, easy to access. Breakfast was very ordinary and boring. The bacon was dry and tasteless. Not worth the $35pp. We stayed 10 days. I was with my mother in hospital while my elderly father stayed in the room. I asked one morning if some eggs and toast could been taken to him for breakfast as he is diabetic and I was detained at the hospital. I was charged an additional $35 for that. I found that poor customer service given the $35pp was already included in the room cost. The room was not cleaned and rubbish collected every day so I had to manage this myself. I’d requested two single beds on booking but the hotel had no record of this request so had to share a king bed with my father. The shower was not disability friendly, the floor tiles were extremely slippery. I asked to be transferred to a disabled room which the bathroom tiles were still slippery and dangerous for my unstable father to access alone. Also the view of this room was very poor, looked over a dirty roof below and we were told the room had issues with bugs coming through the door so needed to keep the doors closed. Overall poor value and customer service for an extended private stay. The only reason we stayed here was the close location to our family. Could’ve had a room in town for half the price.

We got breakfast included in our rate and there was a great selection to choose from each morning, and the coffee was surprisingly good (I've not had a great run with hotel coffee LOL) Twice we had to evacuate for fire alarm within 24 hours, which was annoying - not sure if there was a legitimate reason and not faulting the staff at all, just a pain in the arse when you're staying near the top!!

Room was ordinary with too small fridge and no microwave. Food was awful- cold and greasy. Well below acceptable standard. I stayed with a group of people and we were very disappointed and left early. We did not get a refund despite explaining to manager of substandard accom and food and feeling of being unsafe. Parking area was open to wanderers and no security people ever seen. Everything was bad.

Breakfast was included and for the first 2 days we ate in the Cafe while the restaurant was renovated but it opened for the remaining 2 days and it was fabulous. We also enjoyed room service and used the laundry facilities. We will definately stay again! The coffee machine in our room and the coffee machine at the buffet breakfast.

The towels provided do not dry your body, so they were not helpful. A members of staff told me not to come inside without drying off. I apologised and other hotel stayers made comments to me in the elevator about how that scold made them feel uncomfortable.

I ordered Fish, chips and salad for 2, plus a garlic bread. 3 meals arrived. the staff did take the 3rd meal away and didn't credit me for the 3rd meal which I appreciate. the fish was way over cooked, as the batter was a dark brown. this in no way reflects on the service, or appearance of this hotel chain. which has been excellent during my previous stays at Ridges Palmerston.

- Hannah (10/5): really lovely stay, my first work trip. I hope I get to come again :) - Sarah from the restaurant made me laugh and made me feel very comfortable. This being my first meal alone I was a bit nervous. the pallet cleanse was a nice touch. Coffee made at the bar was really nice and I enjoyed watching the sunrise by the pool. Unfortunate about mosquitos but that cant be helped :) Actually had ants crawling in my bed, Room (603 ) from the headboard end, but again not much anyone can do about that. mosquitos at the pool area

They upgraded us and I like to say a special thanks to the staff at the restaurant and the chef for sending us a anniversary gift in the shape of a large plate with little treats. Awesome place

A++ Rydges Palmerston comprises of well appointed rooms with daily house-keeping and in-room dining service available. Their restaurant and bar offers a variety of meals at affordable prices, with generous sized portions, not to mention their amazing buffet breakfast! A laundry room is also available for guests, with free washing and powder provided. The swimming pool is modern with ample sun lounges, located next to the bar for easy access to food and drinks. All staff are professional, friendly, and provide exceptional customer service. Rydges Palmerston ticks all the boxes, whether you are travelling for business or leisure, ideally located in Palmerston City, next to many ammenities and shops. Put it simply, it’s the only place to stay in Darwin!
- Vicki (9/5): They both said had a lovely night - thank you - Booked stay for my son and daughter-in-law to have a rest from the children - they loved the peace I had gone in and paid for booking of Thursday as it was booked in my name and explained my son Luke and his wife Iesha would be the ones checking in … and when Luke arrived Friday to book in staff member was a little confused … but all good in the end

Free secure parking Travelled with my 80yr old mother, who walks with aid of callipers asked if we could have a late check out (as the flight was at 6pm.) The reception informed us no later checkouts we would have to pay full price. For my mother's comfort I paid $238 for 3 hours extra use of the room. A bit Rich! Other than that I cannot fault the room, facilities and location.
