As a golfer, the teetime organisation was efficient and the discount included in my accommodation was perfect for the golf fees. The course is very well managed and in great condition. Ocean breeze from the Atlantic cooled the temperature at this time of year (January). Additional fee for cleaning service.

• Deon (10/5): Great place to stay if visiting Langebaan. - We booked the 1 bedroom apartment for 3 of us (2 adults and 1 toddler) so were a little worried it might be a bit small. But worry not, the place was very spacious. Along with that it was done to a high standard and all the luxuries you would want taken care off. There is a full sized fridge, full oven, air fryer, coffee and tea. There was air conditioning in the bedroom and fan in the living area. There was satellite television and to top it all off it was located on the golf estate so you could sit on the outside area and enjoy a lovely view. And finally the shower was lovely. And all of that at an exceptionally reasonable price for someone from the UK. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will be back when we visit Langebaan agian. Nothing, it was a great stay!

• Carla (9/5): We had a beautiful and peaceful stay. Seems all visitors abide by estate rules so we had nothing but a pleasant and pea - Excellent location and beautiful setting. Spacious living spaces with 3 of the 4 rooms having views onto the golf course. Ease of check in and staff were very friendly. Really there wasn’t much to dislike. If I had to comment it would be that the bedding looked lumpy and not well made up, but that’s a really small criticism. What matters is that the linen was clean and crisp. They might only need to look at replacing those lumpy inners as it does look a bit unsightly when first arriving.

• Lyn (9/5): Stunning night away at beautiful Country Club. - The lady at reception was very friendly. The house was lovely. Stunning views and plenty of space. There are a few minor maintenance issues to attend to, but they did not impact on our very pleasant stay. We were only there for one day, but we would definitely stay again and for a longer period. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We liked everything.

• Derica (8/5): Ideal for golfers. - The accommodation is comfortable and clean. Close to the Clubhouse. Nice restaurants in town. Food and service at the restaurant in the Club house were terrible.

• Smith (10/5): outstanding - Excellent experience from start to finish. Very friendly and efficient. One on our party had a nose bleed during the night and some of the bedding got blood on it. We reported it to reception and they took care of it no problem and no penalties. Lodges are next to the golf club so we have everything we needed. Friday night there was entertainment at the club. Food was very good and reasonably priced. The lodges were absolutely fantastic with everything you need. Stay was too short.

• Marek (5/5): An unpleasant experience. - The location was good. The house was big, spacious and cozy. Everything you needed was there. When checking in, they wanted to charge me for the entire amount of the bill even though we had already paid for the accommodation several weeks earlier! I had to prove that I had paid for the accommodation! The administrator must have the payment information! When checking out, the Loudge was checked over and we were told that some of the windows were broken! We knew that we hadn't done that! I asked if I wanted to see the broken windows. To this, they replied that they weren't broken, they just lost them! They wanted to prove that we had taken them with us! Are you kidding me, we haven't needed them for 100 years! Since the deposit was 500 ZAR, they gave us 410 ZAR back. Of course we weren't happy with that! In the end, we were given the entire deposit back. This was the first time this had happened to us and it was very unpleasant! In the case of such a house rule, there must also be documentation to show us where the amount of dishes and glasses is written! But they didn't show us this! We recommend that you check all the glasses and dishes before checking in and take a picture, so you can avoid this unpleasant experience! Saada tagasisidet
• Harold (5/5): It was disappointing to say the least as we had noisy neighbours with visitors we took over the facilities. - Location and security The unit and its furnishings were dated and not as what was displayed on the website.
• Watson (5/5): Passable - The house was comfortable and the view of the golf course was breathtaking We didn't like the fact that the swimming pool was not maintained properly and also we spent a week and the bedding wasn't changed once.

• Dhiraj (9/5): Surpassed expectations - The prime location. The residents were so friendly. Everyone greeted us. The game, tortoises, and other small animals we got to see. The apartment was excellent and cool and the resort had alot of walking paths that we could explore. The wash basin in the bath was too far away from the tap, which caused alot of spillage when washing our hands or face. My partner got stuck in the bathroom bec the lock didn't work properly but the resort personnel where able to assist us with 15 minutes of me raising the issue.

• Colin (8/5): Very pleasant accommodation, golf was great, view and venue, great. - No breakfast available unless you played golf. Restaurant closed when we arrived, so had to eat in town, although the food there was excellent. Limited menu, TV in apartment very small.

• Bharath (5/5): Lovely location, great activities, however I would probably not book again. - Great Location, many paid activities available, generously sized accommodation When we got to the location, our unit was not ready, we were only able to settle in after 17:00. The main bedroom had soiled bedding and the air-conditioning in that bedroom was not working either. We had a list of other issues and the staff was not the most understanding. eventually by the end of our 2nd day management was involved and they offered a refund for the 1st night due to the extensive list of issues.

• Hannes (9/5): Good stay but poor administration - Location Nobody knew where I was staying - the gatehouse security did not know where to direct me, and the reception at the clubhouse initially denied that I was staying at the estate. I had to show her the Booking.com reservation, and after a long search on her computer did she find my booking. She also asked me to pay for the accommodation, and I had to convince her that I had paid Booking.com online. The reception was very poor - they are poorly organised and not equipped to manage guests arriving.

• Britt (5/5): If the above was sorted, we would love to stay again as the space & location is ideal for a group. - Location was good, bedrooms and house were spacious and with twin beds the house is very practical for people to share rooms. The downstairs section of the house and one room in particular had a terrible smell. The smell seemed like a combination between damp & cat urine and was very unpleasant. On arrival this is the first thing you smell on entering the house. The kitchen was badly equipped with only 2 pots, no frying pan. There were only 2 sharp knives and neither of them were suitable for cutting anything other than bread. The house was also very cold and the panel heater did not work in one of the downstairs bedrooms.

No coffee or milk available on arrival, would have been nice. Nobody at reception to hand over keys, waited a long time at the bar (filled with rowdy intoxicated men) for them to find someone to help me. The outside glass door stood open,had no key for that door, was afraid someone might close/lock it then I had no access to the flat?

• Angela (10/5): Lovely apartment with a view - When I made the booking, it seemed as if we will be getting an upstairs apartment. To our surprise, we got a stunning downstairs apartment, with sliding doors opening on the golf course.

• Gavin (7/5): A comfortable and well-equipped lodge with a good location for golfers. - The lodge is perfectly located right next to the clubhouse. The well-equipped estate gym has a comprehensive offer at R70pp. The course was enjoyable with a few impressive and challenging holes. The vast bird life along with a healthy family of springbok and bontebok added to the sense of it being a country estate. The lodge is rather dated and needs an upgrade to position it as luxurious.
