Guest Reviews

Overall amazing. Highly recommend
- Vincent (10/5): - The view was amazing
- Karen (10/5): - An amazingly unique property in a quiet location. Surrounded by nature, just a short drive to both Denmark and Albany. We loved this property and will definitely be back!
- Marion (10/5): - We had such a lovely time. Peaceful, charming, lovely property. Loved our stay
- Chris (10/5): - Amazing chalet in the quiet hills of Denmark. Beautifilly laid out, clean, cozy, and a wood fire for those chilly nights. Great communication, facilities and nature on your doorstep. Loved it!
- Mina (10/5): - Peaceful and beautiful surroundings; cozy, clean, and well equipped chalet; kind and helpful host; we really enjoyed everything. Thanks Amy.
- Alison (10/5): Tennessee Hill Chalets - Amazing views, very comfortable.
We loved it!
Some minor issues, which owner addressed quickly. Tv reception poor, but probably v. hard to correct as the site is in the countryside. Dvds supplied. We didn’t need them.
Chalet very well sited, other chalet at least 100 mtrs away, so very private. Aircon worked well, too warm to light the wood heater, but it would be wonderful in the winter. Definitely planning to stay there again,
- James (8/5): - A great place for family bonding with the kids, away from the noises of the city life. We wish we could stay forever.
- Nicholas Brian (10/5): - Set on the hillside of this property with amazing views. Walked in and amazed at everything on offer. It has all the basics you need to just sit back, relax and forget about life.
- Andries (8/5): - Very nice chalet
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Immaculate property. So clean I felt like I was at home. The view, you have to see to believe the view. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Owners dog was the icing on the cake. And the bed was sooo comfy. Truly I wish we stayed longer
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really nice, relaxing chalet (chalet 2). Kitchen was well equipped, had electric stove, nespresso machine with capsules available to purchase, dishwasher, coffee plunger, basics eg salt pepper, oil, teas. One point to mention would be that the wifi is only available when asked for, and limited to the reception area and also the amount used. This was not a problem for us, but might be for other guests. Overall the hosts have succeeded in providing you with everything for a laid back stay including birds to spot on the property and binoculars. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet location with beautiful views across the lowlands. Watching the changing colours of the sky at sunset while the sheep grazed below was just magical.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very quiet, very relaxing environment. Would easily use again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was amazing with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere.
- martin (10/5): Good place to stay - Warm welcome. Chalet very clean , everything we needed. Balcony and view was wonderful. Good location Would recommend
- Douglas (10/5): Peaceful - Wow we returned again this year a beautiful place to have a break away we will be coming back
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Loved the views, the uniqueness of the accommodation and location, the owners were very friendly and helpful, we also liked the fact that it was eco friendly.
We did feel though that the accommodation was a little dated some what and would benefit from a “refresh” including a larger upto date TV.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing, will definitely come back, the chalet has great view, feel soo close to the nature and animal
- Andrew (10/5): Absolutely amazing place to stay - Fantastic place to stay, quiet, secluded, amazing views, homely with lovely furnature, log fire. Close to Denmark and Albany. Lovely lady runs it. The night sky is so awsome. This is one of the best places I have stayed and so relaxing. We will be back.
