Guest Reviews
- John (9/5): -
- Mark (10/5): - Great location In Centre of town.cozy and had everything you need for your stay and more!! Little touches like treats in the cupboard.
- Jackdaw (10/5): -
- Ian (10/5): Lovely unspoiled market town with lovely quiet walks along the river and around the common - Nice central location. Had everything we might have needed for our short stay. Met by the owner who explained everything and gave local recommendations for food and drink Toilet flush a bit reluctant but ok once we got the hang of it
- Howard (10/5): First class - Excellent Nothing
- Michael (8/5): Lovely would stay again. - Friendly owner. Washing machine and excellent kitchen. Plenty of room. Well equipped. Easy door locks. Breakfast restaurant steps away. Excellent Italian restaurant on ground floor although noisy. Entry from street. Had to park on street to transfer bags. Suite on 2nd floor so had to carry bags up stairs. No on site reception however, owner arrived promptly.
- DC (8/5): Convenient and practical accommodation. - Communicative, friendly host. Central location (also it's problem!). Plenty of space and kitchen equipment. Nice touch of juice, milk and strawberries. Noise from neighbours above. Rattling windows. Noise from outside traffic. Not for light sleepers. A mirror near a plug point for hair drying would be good.
- Kat Hymers (8/5): Ideal location for our short stay in Bungay, comfortable accommodation and friendly host - Very friendly host, and small touches left in the accommodation were appreciated. Perfect location for staying in Bungay.
- Margaret (8/5): Lovely place to stay for a couple of days -
- Sharron (9/5): Superb - Good location. Original features. Light and airy accommodation Well equipped.
- Kevin (10/5): Perfect get away for our purposes. - It was absolutely perfect for the wife and I. Spacious and comfortable, had everything we required. Lovely owners and provided us with the basics. So thank you. Noting not to like. We was so happy.
- Chris (10/5): Excellent accommodations, perfect location, and wonderful host...all for a great value! - James was exceptionally friendly, and he lived just around the corner. He met us quickly, and gave us nice recommendations for places to eat/have a drink. He even came around later on to help us with the hot water (which worked perfectly, by the way).
I was going to put the following statement in the "What you didn't like section, but I didn't want it to adversely affect James in the process: The only thing that we didn't like was that the space is unavailable for our return trip in August for the Black Shuck Festival.
- Cathy (8/5): Great location and a nice clean property, well stocked with toiletries and breakfast bits - Clean, centrally located, nicely stocked with toiletries and breakfast bits
- Charles (8/5): Very good - We were able to relax in the evening. Unfortunately, the property is on the main road, and from 0500, the noise of the HGV's cars and motorbikes work us up. This was a problem as we had long days.
- Karen (10/5): Lovely break in comfy apartment - Set in the beautiful town centre of Bungay, we were able to stroll along for breakfast pastries and coffee and enjoy the local pubs and restaurants in the evening (with the fantastic Fiano restaurant being underneath us!). The bay window overlooks the town so you can enjoy the peace and quiet in the comfortable lounge while watching the world go by. The bed was extremely comfortable & the shower was great too. Nothing (although if highlighting possible issues for others, it is only accessible by stairs).
- Caranina (7/5): Very convenient location as friends/family stayed near by. - Charming little town We don’t know if it is always so busy with traffic? Or it could be a road closed which pushed big noisy trucks past us all night…. Not much sleep had!!!
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Our host was lovely and very helpful, couldn't of asked for better. The location was amazing, close to everything. Would love to stay again
- Terry (7/5): Good - Location A little tired in places
- Joanne (8/5): Very good -
- Alfred (8/5): Good sketching opportunities and friendly people. -
- Andrew (8/5): Happy with the accommodation,no complaints -
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- J (8/5): Nice well positioned flat - Good position, comfortable and spacious. Comfy bed. Providing basic provisions was a nice touch. Noise from upstairs flat
- Amanda (8/5): Great location with pubs & restaurants within easy walking distance!. -
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - An absolute gem of a place. We could not have picked a nicer place in the heart of Bungay. As we arrived late, we were delighted to be greeted by James, and shown around a warm apartment with tea coffee and milk along with a few other supplies available which made us feel welcome. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (9/5): Superb -
- Andy (10/5): A very nice apartment which was perfect for our short stay - We didn't expect to be provided with breakfast items so we were very grateful they were. Location of the apartment was great. Perfect for exploring the village. N/A
- Andrew (5/5): Passable -
- Michael (9/5): An excellent town-centre apartment, immaculately presented - A very warm welcome, an immaculately cleaned and presented apartment in the centre of town, with everything you would want or need made available, from complementary breakfast to a very comfortable bed.
