• Perido (8/5): Overall, the stay was good and would definitely go back if I am to visit the area - The food was sumptuous and good for value. The place was a little bit tight but so organized that I was not even able to notice. Staff was also accommodating and client-driven. Finally, the beach and pool were clean and great to spend time swimming in during the stay. The bathroom could have been sanitized and deodorized. Also, the beddings were kind of not cleaned thoroughly.

Thank you for the wonderful stay. - The place is good, the kids enjoy the pool because its not too deep. The staffs were very nice & polite. The AC was leaking on our reserved family room but the staff was able to transfer us right away to a better family room. There were cockroaches on our room & the water pot has small ants.

• Pia (7/5): Good - The property is well kept and welcoming. It feels clean and in general good condition. It’s quiet and nice to relax. The restaurant has really good food, and a very nice vibe to it. You have the view of the sea, and can hear the waves during dinner. Will recommend the mango shake, best we have had on our trip. The lady, April May, working in the restaurant made our stay amazing. She is so helpful and nice. Her English is perfect, and she will do her best to help with anything. She helped us book our snorkeling trip with another resort, and would do her best to give tips, all while actually working in the restaurant. The room was clean and nice, shows was hot. There was some facilities listed that was incorrect. There was no laundry service. They could not arrange snorkeling or diving activities for us. They suggested we went to the resort on the other side of the street…with these services listed on their booking I would at least expect they could arrange it for us, not only give us recommendations for where we could do it ourselves. The place next doors, didn’t really have a lot of options either. Ended up talking to April May in the restaurant, who helped us figure something out. The air conditioning was too loud, and made it hard to sleep.

• Kevin (10/5): Best fun, value for money place I have stayed anywhere! Definitely coming back to visit the nice staff and the dogs! - The proximity to the beach cannot be understated. I absolutely loved having the variety of food and drinks with a water view. My girlfriend and I steadily ate our way through the menu for the few days we were there. We managed to find many things we liked! Also, my girlfriend and I befriended a few dogs at the resort that followed us around. The dog that spent the most time with us was a tan and white Aspin/Ascal named Charles. I was sure to include Charles the dog in one of the pictures because he often followed us to our tables for meals. This meant a lot to us because we have dogs we are missing on our vacation. The ONLY thing that was “bad” was the rocks on the path up to the resort and the rocks by the beach shore. I carried the luggage for me and my girlfriend because we couldn’t roll the luggage, but that was the ONLY problem getting to the resort. The rocks at the shore didn’t stop us from going into the water but it is an easier experience to walk to the left of the resort’s beach for a few minutes.

• Gary (10/5): When the resort staff smiles..pearls appear. - Located the river that flows into ocean, the beach is very wide. Saw pieces of coral and shells. The ocean was very clear. The greatest improvement was the new Star Link WiFi. It was the best internet connection I have had since I’ve been visiting the resorts in Negros Oriental. Thanks to the owners for installing Star Link. Our family always feel welcome, we have many wonderful memories. Our daughter learned how to swim at Kav’s. We really didn’t want to leave..

We tried multiple dishes in a few days and were never disappointed. The resort is clean and peaceful and the rooms are perfectly fine too. The shower is nice and warm (hot). A big plus for me. Thank you to the people of Kav's Beach Resort, we really enjoyed our stay. The resort is a little far from shops or restaurants. No problem for us because we knew when we booked :-) but maybe important information for other bookers

• Tara (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay!! - We really enjoyed our stay at Kavs resort! The pool was lovely and the beach area was nice and peaceful. We stayed during the week and had the pool to ourselves! The room was clean and the hot/cold shower was nice especially travelling with a toddler. We were also able to check in early for an additional 500 php. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well! Would love to visit here again in the future :) I noticed we were getting lots of mosquito bites and the window in the bathroom was cracked open and they were coming in from there. The latch on the window seemed to be broken so it couldn’t be shut. Also it would be nice if the restaurant was open earlier. The menu said 6:30 but no staff were around until 7am. Would also love if the gates to the beach were open earlier as it would’ve been nice to watch the sunrise right on the beach. I’m not sure if the resort has a generator, because I think at some point early in the morning the power went out for a little bit. But overall, we still had an enjoyable stay !
• Christophe (9/5): Forget the daily grind and relax. - Great place to relax and unwind. Quite isolated. Easy enough to get a tuktuk or taxi but no shops in near vicinity and restaurants are very limited.

Our daughter prefers Kav’s resort over all the resorts in Zamboanguita and Dauin. What happened to the television in room 10? It was the best at the resort.

Many things has changed since last August that I have been to kavs: The food is more salty, No fruits at bf, Just one egg at the filipino breakfast and no more watermelon. • Arron (9/5): Fantastic beach resort - Fantastic location with a swimming pool looking over the beach and sea. If you want a perfect relaxing break with peace and quiet as not too busy then this is the place. Food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and fantastic. If you order breakfast pancakes make sure you get free drinks included as staff didn't seem to understand that and had to keep asking for included drinks. Perhaps have a free water machine in the dining area so guests can refill complimentary water bottles rather than new plastic bottles every day saving on plastic recycling.
• Luague (5/5): It was a relaxing stay. - The food was good. Clean room with accommodating staff. They had generators ready just in case any power interruption would occur. My daughter enjoyed her stay so much. the staff were not that courteous, mostly they just walk pass by you without saying any pleasantries. They also come to the resort a tad late, the barricades were still there at 7am in the morning, preventing us from going to the beach.
• Davje0330 (10/5): A hidden little pearl - The food was very tasty and the staff was great. This is a hidden little pearl in Negros Oriental. It is a quiet little and safe place right on the beach about 25 minutes outside Dumaguete. The bar closed at 9PM.

All of the staff and owner were very friendly and were committed to making sure we had a beautiful stay. Everyone was very nice. We liked everything. I can not think of anything we did not like. • Wesley (4/5): Wanted to like Kavs but was very disappointed, the staff were nice, but no extra effort made. - View was nice and pool Craft beer also very good. Felt overpriced for what it was, local beer was very expensive and the booking itself was the kind of price you would expect in a much larger resort with more facilities. Also, the restaurant/bar closed very early for a Saturday night, and with no other food choices, we were sent to 7/11 to get food.... not the best experience. Not much in the area so the bar really should have opened late, it ruined the night for us.

• Kimberly (10/5): Exceptional - I always book Kavs whenever I am in Dumaguete! Near Apo Island port 10mins tricycle away. And when in the resort very chill vibe esp they renovated it! You can watch sunset with the beach chairs and pool is nice and relaxing too. Staffs are all accomodating.
• Juvy (8/5): Fun times with friends and colleagues. :-) - We booked 2 rooms, the superior and the family room, but there werent other guests except our group so we had the whole resort to ourselves and got some privacy we appreciate. We had some beers by the shoreline under the moonlight, it was perfect. The weather cooperated, the kids of my friends had a great time swimming and they allow dogs, so we were able to bring our dogs, and they too had a great time! As we are WFH peeps, the intermittent connection took some precious hours from work. Data signal was good (Smart) so we had to switch to data. I hope the next time we go there, internet would be better.

• Samantha (10/5): Absolutely glorious - The resort is well set out and maintained. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool area over looking the beach was glorious. Food was excellent, good menu choices, well cooked with fresh ingredients. There are only four parking bays which can be difficult when resort is busy. Although there is easy access parking round the corner.

• Anonymous (7/5): For the ocean lovers, no. - The resort it’s nice, clean rooms, nice staff and great food. I apreciate that, because i’m a vegetarian, the chef accepted to change a little the menu for me. I also like that they have international food. The internet connection its very slow… The air condition in the rooms i think shoul get an upgrade or, at least, the filter changed. Because of the humidity, it was smelling like mold. Also, in the bathroom, was a bad small even with the window open.. The thing i was trully dissapointed is that the beach was fuuuuuul of rocks, biiig rocks, like river rocks.. on the shore and also in the water.. it was bad for me because i wanted to enjoy the ocean, not the pool.

• Gingros (9/5): Superb - Everything went well so far. During the day of our check out, we need to get up early for our Apo Island tour and notify them the night before that we will be out before the time of check out and ask their staff to just put our luggages somewhere safe upon our return and they did. And we also ask them if we could still use their restroom to bathe since we came from tour and they allowed us. thanks to them we had a nice stay so far. What I just don't like when we got there its just that I'm willing to pay for additional fee for early check in since there is no one occupying our room when we arrive, but the lady at the reception office insisted we have to wait for the check in time. which we did, so we just stayed at their resto area until its 2pm. I think we waited for 4 hours at most.
