I had a couple of unexpected delays that almost caused me to miss my train to Birmingham. While I was outside desperately trying to get an Uber or a cab, Daniel immediately stepped in. He literally took me by the hand, went outside with me, waited until he found a cab, and personally explained to the driver that Ahmad was in a hurry and needed to get to the train station quickly. Because of Daniel, I caught my train. Because of Daniel, I had a successful business day in Birmingham. People like Daniel are what truly make the difference. From start of the day we come here and end of the day, come here not just because the food and coziness of this lounge, but also because of the amazing feeling we get from the staff of Yen, Terrence and Harsha. The location was excellent, with many major attractions within walking distance and very convenient access to the Underground. The room was spacious, quiet, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of quality options, and the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the pool and jacuzzi after busy days exploring the city. The hotel felt modern, stylish, and welcoming, and having restaurants and shops nearby was a big plus. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it. One thing we did not particularly enjoy was that during one part of our stay, the arrival of several large tour groups from China created a much busier and less calm atmosphere in the hotel than we had experienced otherwise. This was especially noticeable during breakfast, when the dining area became crowded and somewhat chaotic, making the otherwise pleasant atmosphere feel less comfortable. It was also noticeable in the evenings, when noise levels in the common areas were higher than expected. The hotel had otherwise felt very peaceful and well organized, so this contrast stood out.

- Hanan (5/5): I definitely won't be staying here again. - The room was clean and surprisingly spacious for London standards. However, the overall experience was disappointing for a Hilton property. My Booking.com reservation clearly stated that a coffee machine was included, yet the staff initially refused to provide one, claiming my room category didn't include it. It took a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth and 'negotiation' before they finally honored the booking details. This level of service is not what I expected. I definitely won't be staying here again."

- BrooklynSarah (10/5): Overnite at Hilton Bankside for family theatre goers - We stayed for a night at Hilton Bankside because we went to see Stranger Things on stage. Wow - the room was great, super comfy beds, spacious well laid-out lobby and restaurant, and staff were really kind and helpful. Special thanks to door person Daniel who welcomed us.

- Rajganesh (10/5): Excellent and we loved it. - Overall good place and a typical Hilton standard. Very nice - attentive staff, very clean rooms, good breakfast. The option for the extra bed were all just perfect and practical for. There is nothing that I did not like in the hotel! Here are some suggestions for consideration 1) the shower knobs we’re not that intuitive and we had to get curious to figure it out 🙂 2) we were unable to reuse towels - as a provision to hang used towels to dry was not available 3) a bidet / health faucet (with warm water given the weather) may help save more toilet paper

- Lee (9/5): Excellent hotel, great staff and good location. - Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean with lots of facilities. Location was spot on! The price seems expensive but it was a bank holiday weekend and central London so is expected.

- Daniel (10/5): Great stay very close to everything you need. - I personally enjoyed the location of the property and how easy it was to get access to the underground and it’s also a very quiet area. To be honest the only thing that I personally didn’t really like was the price of the food. But that is London for you I believe. But other than that everything else was great. The pool is very clean and amazing same with the gym and the rooms and lift was actually very clean.

- benroosen (8/5): - The location is just outside the busy area and connected to some nice neighbourhoods. There is really no other place than the executive lounch to work if you want your kids to sleep and not wake up.

- Ali Emre (8/5): Good - The sitting area at the bar downstairs was useful for meetings. The breakfast was good. The staff were helpfull. The bed was comfortable. There were too few elevators and one wasn’t working. They said I had booked for a disabled room (which I was not aware of) and asked me to pay for an upgrade to a regular room. The windows in the room can not be opened.

Buildings works being carried out on the Hotel which we were only told about at check in. The bed is very hard and uncomfortable (and cheap) not what I would expect - surprised how bad it was…

- Nerijus (9/5): Elegant stay, excellent service - We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton London Bankside. The location was excellent, with many major attractions within walking distance and very convenient access to the Underground. The room was spacious, quiet, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of quality options, and the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the pool and jacuzzi after busy days exploring the city. The hotel felt modern, stylish, and welcoming, and having restaurants and shops nearby was a big plus. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it. One thing we did not particularly enjoy was that during one part of our stay, the arrival of several large tour groups from China created a much busier and less calm atmosphere in the hotel than we had experienced otherwise. This was especially noticeable during breakfast, when the dining area became crowded and somewhat chaotic, making the otherwise pleasant atmosphere feel less comfortable. It was also noticeable in the evenings, when noise levels in the common areas were higher than expected. The hotel had otherwise felt very peaceful and well organized, so this contrast stood out. This did not affect our overall positive impression, but better management of large group arrivals could help preserve the comfortable and orderly atmosphere for all guests.

- Emily (10/5): We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to our loved ones. - Friendly and helpful staff at the desk, cleaners, waiting staff and chefs. Hotel was clean everywhere, the food for breakfast was delicious. I would have liked a little more fruit, like some fresh berries but that's a really minor thing, as there was lots of other fruit. It was great. I would suggest some resistance machines in the gym. I'm a PT so I would suggest a leg extension & curl machine, lat pulldown that, leg press and / chest press machine.
