Chambre simple avec balcon et vue panoramique sur la mer au loin Le soir on mange au resto de l'hôtel ou à la taverne du village tenue par le patron de l'hôtel, c'est délicieux et fait maison à des prix tout à fait corrects. Jolie piscine mais la météo nous en a privés. Jardin fleuri et très bien entretenu La salle de bains est juste correcte. Joints de douche encrassés. Besoin de rénovation. C'est un détail mais les protections du matelas (par ailleurs neuf et excellent) sont très bruyantes.

В бассейне не купались - вода была теплая, но в воздухе уже достаточно прохладно, не хотелось раздеваться. Очень гостеприимные и приятные хозяева - останавливаться у таких людей сплошное удовольствие и повод вернуться! Завтрак немного скудный, но чем насытить себя найдешь. В номере плохая шумоизоляция, слышали все разговоры соседей. Не очень удобная кровать.

- JANY (9/5): Merci bcp aux propriétaires qui ont fait que le séjour etait TOP. - Les propriétaires (10/10) sont au top et aux petits soins. Leur taverne est extra pour le soir. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Le village est juste superbe. La gentillesse des gens locaux croisés dans la rue, on balance un kalispera et c’est parti. C’est vraiment génial. La salle de bains, c’est le juste nécessaire.

Le lit en 140x190 avec un matelas qui a fait son temps nous a gâché la nuit. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur du prix payé. : pain de mie encore dans l’emballage industriel, peu de choix. Pas possible de se reposer à la piscine, les gens parlaient fort. Des matelas, des lits bébé dans les escaliers.

Unappealing and very low quality breakfast with very small selection, the worst we had during our trip. Dogs barking in the morning. Very local management, for 100€ per night there are much better value and service elsewhere.

Our room in the second building was quite big with a small balcony. 2. The personnel were very friendly and ready to meet our needs. 3. The place was clean, and the cleaners did their job properly. 1. The room needs renovation. The doors in the shower did not close properly; two hangers in the bathroom were broken. The interior was very-very simple (like, plastic chairs on the balcony or no shelf (nothing!) in the bathroom for a toothpaste and a toothbrush. 2. The breakfast was below our expectations. We couldn't even get milk. No healthy choice beyond cucumbers, tomatoes and boiled eggs... 3. The village itself is quite small, and the dining options are limited to traditional taverns, which are good for 2 meals at most.

- Ann (8/5): Lovely food, village, and views at the Palates Hotel - Amazing views, friendly staff, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, working a/c, everything necessary for a pleasant stay hiking in the mountains around the cute village — plus a fantastic attached taverna using very fresh produce and incredible olive oil, tasty breakfast with homebaked cakes. Would stay again. Look, the furniture is definitely worse-for-wear and the linens and towels are thin—luxury this ain't—but we slept like stones each night so for us these could be improved, but ultimately weren't that big of an issue.

We asked for a twin room with 2 single beds and although was confirmed through booking, at the reception they rudely told us that your booking syster always confirmes automatically a request but actually does not verify this request with the owner???? Which I found it unprofessional by YOU and the hotel owner but didn't insist... as I didn't want to ruin my holidays.

Good point for exploring both mountains and coast. As with many of these villages, few local shops. You need to take any provisions up with you from the lower slopes.

- Jenni (10/5): Lovely family run hotel - Lovely family run hotel. Comfortable and clean rooms. Good breakfast. We ate our evening meal at the Taverna belonging to the hotel in the village. Excellent choice of local dishes and wine. You must try the sea bream if was cooked to perfection 👌, the best I have had in Cyprus! Unfortunately there was a group of children who were very noisy certain times of the day. It was explained to us that their original booking for the start of the school holidays had to be rescheduled to the time we were there. We will be back despite this little hiccup.
