• Lewis (9/5): I would recommend a stay at this motel to anyone. The price, the location, friendly owner. - The owner (Jason) was very cordial and accommodating. He gave us a tour of his lighthouse and described his intentions for future improvements. You can even book in to the Lighthouse itself. If I remember correctly, comfortably beds up to 12 people for a very comfortable warm experience. Offering both single rooms and cottages in a location relatively close to PEI provincial park where a view of the coastal dunes and roiling sea meet head to head. And then a 10-15 minute trip to Charlottetown brings you to the heart of cultural activity with a good selection of dinning experiences and entertainment. A very good stay!

Kitchenette équipée (assiettes, couverts etc,). Lave-linge et sèche-linge à disposition à un prix démocratique. Gérant super sympa. Le phare donne du caractère à la propriété. Propreté irréprochable. Nous avons beaucoup aimé.

La propreté et l'ensemble de l'intérieur du cottage 10 était très bien. L'emplacement qui vendait la mer mais qui n'avait aucune vue sur la mer.

The kitchen was bare minimum (missing a lighter and can opener and it would be helpful to have some bare essential condiments available. But the location, exterior yard and staff were great. Just not sure it’s value for your money.

Campfire pits on grounds. Interesting lighthouse on grounds available for rent. Difficulty in accessing entry to unit on motel unit 7 possibly because of renovations to door frame caused initial frustration. Important to pull door towards you to make numbers work. Chain on overhead light needs replacing as it had broken off and was out of reach. Lighting on grounds outside motel unit was dim.

• Linda (10/5): Great Home Base for our trip to PEI - A great, basic place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Great owner/manager who is upgrading rooms. We stayed in a "Motel" room which has been upgraded with kitchenette (Toaster, microwave, hot water, sink, refrigerator). Large room with table and 2 chairs and a small private deck with a barbeque grill for your personal use. Park right outside your room. 24 hour laundry facilities steps away. Kitchen is well stocked. Very convenient to all areas of PEI, nothing was more than 1 hr and 15 min away. Most attractions were only 20-25 minutes away. One of the best beaches is only 5 minutes away. We would head to the beach after a day of siteseeing and watch the sunset. Don't forget to bring your beach chairs!

The outside gas BBQ was a lovely bonus and the fire pit great. The nearby Drive in Movie Theatre is a must visit! The mosquitoes - bad that is not the accommodations fault! The weather was so dry it has been a bad season for them.

Everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, with peaceful and relaxing surroundings all around. He even brought us famous chocolates from Toronto and a plush lobster souvenir when he returned home—such a thoughtful gesture! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We would recommend this place, and would return again. The only constructive feedback would be to have 4 chairs with the kitchen table, as I had to wait for my kids to eat first prior eating

The room had no hot water so we were unable to take a shower. Many of the windows in the room and facilities had dead houseflies on the window sills.

Plenty to do near by, and a great place to stay on the island because of its somewhat central location to drive around and your the rest of what PEI has to offer. The cottage was clean, comfy, had a nice little kitchenette, which came in handy. The pullout couch bed was the only draw back, as expected with all pullouts, the bed was uncomfortable.

• Chantal (8/5): Parfait pour un petit séjour en famille ou entre amis - Très propre et beaucoup mieux qu’une chambre d’hôtel puisque que nous avions une cuisinette pour faire nos repas, une petite table pour manger, un coin salon pour se reposer et 2 chambres fermées. L’équipement pour la cuisinette est de base mais nous ne restions qu’une nuit. Par contre, le matelas d’un des lits n’était pas très confortable, il creusait vers le centre. Seul point négatif.
