- jeanette (4/5): - Property has really deteriorated since my last stay several years ago. Room was hot and took time to cool off. All outside noises were clearly audible. No ice available. Now this hotel rents rooms by the week. There were several people lounging around outside and I was approached by one individual. Did not feel safe.
- Jhonson (7/5): Good -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Felisha (4/5): - Front desk receptionists were unavailable when needed, then gave my daughter dirty towels.
- Michelle (10/5): - room was clean and price was decent for a weekend stay
- Michelle (10/5): - nice and quiet, nice staff. near i-59 but was quiet at night
- Michelle (10/5): - nice and quiet. clean and reasonable price, right near the interstate so that was another plus
- Michelle (10/5): - reasonable price, friendly front desk clerk, quiet location. perfect for a one night stay. complete opposite of what other reviews i have seen about this place. definitely would come back again!
- Aubrey (1/5): We checked in. Seen the dirty towels. Ignored them because we can always get clean ones. After we changed to go to dinne - Nothing. We didn't even stay. Returned my keys and got a new hot Pubes on my "clean" towels. ROACHES. Everywhere.
- James (4/5): - A non smoking room should not stink like cigarettes. Wall receptacle was completely loose and coming out of the wall making a dangerous situation. I have pictures if needed.
- Dustin (6/5): Pleasant -
- jennifer (6/5): Travel - Okay for the price
- CMT73 (4/5): Drive right by. Don't stop. - This motel DOES NOT feel safe. Seems to house mostly long term residents, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it was loud and folks were hagning around outside. The room was not renovated and the whole experience was odd. I stayed in three Motel 6 properties over a road trip with my dog and this was BY FAR the worst. The lobby is dark and locked off limits and all interaction is through a window. I highly suggest you drive on by this one.
- Merry (2/5): - Very noisy, train and traffic. Staff was rude Worst part was to wake up with German cockroaches crawling on me and the bed!!!!
- Jonathan (6/5): Bugs, stains, tv didn't work. - Cheap There were cock roaches and the linens and towels were stained. Television didn't wok.
- Jessica (2/5): - Very dirty sheets and towelettes
- Mishali (10/5): - it was nice and affordable price with nice friendly staff
- Erica (1/5): Bad - Nothing I did not like the roaches
- Rick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daphne (10/5): - The lady, michelle, at check in was super friendly and very sweet and helpful. Always had a smile and friendly nature while checking in. The rooms were very nice and clean and location was quiet and was able to get a good night's rest.
Only thing the ice machine was not working but apparently a previous guest messed around with the ice machine which caused it to stop working but staff are already aware about it and trying to get it fixed. But overall was a decent motel and the price was decent for a one night stay
Defintely would recommend to my friends and family
- Bates (7/5): Needed a bed and shower for the night. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay again. -
- kenneth (6/5): - I saw roaches in my room
- Latundra (9/5): Superb -
- shane (4/5): - Lobby is locked even in day time. Had to check in through a slot in the glass. Requested a Non smoking room at check in. Our Non smoking room smelled like an ash tray especially when we turned on the air conditioner. Needed extra towels but no one in the office. Mattress slept like a pile of rocks. I should have brought my air mattress and slept in the car and saved $80.
- Millie (2/5): Never stay there again - Nothing Bed was hard, no coffee, dog area was not adequate
- Jennifer (6/5): - Rude employees
- Jacqueline (4/5): Won't be back - It was close to what I needed The TV didn't work, the bed was hard, and they offered no ice and no coffee, which wasn't told to me til after my visit when I complained.
- Mark (4/5): Disappointing - No breakfast No coffee
So much light in room it was hard to sleep, bright light outside on all night and it leaked around curtain
- Lee (3/5): Poor -
- Earl (7/5): Good -
- Christine (2/5): - Only 2 lights in whole room worked. Then, we slept with those on because the cockroaches were unreal!
- Mason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Warren (9/5): Superb -
- Syferd (8/5): We would stay here again for when we go to the NPK races in Steele. - The staff was super helpful when the parking lot was full and there was nowhere for us to park. The girl move her personal vehicle to give us her spot. Needs a coffee machine in the room if there isn't going to be any available in the lobby.
- Rodrick (2/5): - The lenting was horrible. The smell was horrible.
- Pruitt (7/5): Close to Street Outlaws race - How close it was to the Street Outlwas race. For the first 2 days, the hot water kept going in and out. On the 3rd day, we didn't have hot water at all.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (3/5): Never stay here again - The location The toilet paper dispenser was held on wall by aluminum foil Pillows were paper thin. Sheets had burn holes. Tv sound was muffled. So basically didn’t like anything but the location
- Verified traveler (4/5): Big Mistake - There were two of us staying in the room. We had 1/4 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, with no new rolls in the room. There was not a box of tissues. There were 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 washcloths. Some people would appreciate at least 4 of each of those. There were 4 plastic cups on the vanity and we were staying for three nights. The cups were never replaced as we used them, so we ran out quickly. The A/C worked, but made a huge racket every time it came on. It's hard to sleep under those conditions.
- Samantha (8/5): Beds - It was a good hotel but the beds were terrible needs better mattress
- Michael (8/5): - It's good place for a one night stay.
- John (9/5): Pleasant - Clean safe
- James (10/5): - The lady at the front desk was very nice. The rooms were nice, and clean, would definitely take extra pillows. Our overall stay here was pleasant. The price wasn’t bad at all.
- Leapheng (6/5): Decent for one night - It’s good for one night The Blanket is itchy .
- Greg (5/5): Still needs improvement - The room was clean as always. They once again put me in the accessible situation. Very friendly desk clerk. Firm bed. The new management was long overdue but slow in making necessary improvements. The ice machine still does not work and my TV has ragged sound (in the lower frequencies). Parking delineation is still washed out; caused me a problem last time and has no handicap designation, which I need. The room smelled funny when I entered but it was hot; once the A/C did its job things were OK.
- Boyd (5/5): Passable -
- Donna (6/5): Pleasant - Clean, air conditioning was cold! Bed was uncomfortable
- Catherine (6/5): - Cheap no frills hotel. Not great but adequate. The shower was clean.
Bed was okay but stains on sheets. Only three small pilliws on king size bed. Ice machine wasnt working. Very noisy because it is right on the busy road. Not a great neighborhood. Staff was very nice, especially when we could not get tv to work.
- Mason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Felicia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mats (1/5): Terrible - Location ok Bad smell in the room, toilet was leaking and the AC was very noisy.
- Timothy Allen (10/5): Fast - Check in was quick and room was great.
- Kimberley (7/5): It was a great value and had plenty of parking - It was close and convenient to the Highway The lights were too close to the doors , the bugs were getting in .
Y’all could get use bug lights or move them about 2 feet away .
- Lequita (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice motel, friendly front desk, it was very.clean. would stay.again
- Stephen (2/5): Don’t stay there. Difficult accent to understand. Paint job needs to be replaced. It was peeling and rusting on the stai - bed comfortable stain on sheets, no ice and not informed that there was no ice available.
- Cylar (5/5): Passable -
- Lauren (4/5): - People coming and going all night. Beds and pillows lacking.
This hotel must mostly be used for out of town workers and is pretty sketchy at best.
- Debbie (7/5): Good -
- Lisa (1/5): Bad - It is close to the interstate. The bed was comfortable. The first room has a torn up A/C. We were told to keep flipping the safety fuse. It went off every 10 minutes. The second room had stains all over the bed and a fridge you couldn't open. There was hair all over the towels. The staff barely spoke or understood English which made communication hard. The ice machine didn't work. So no fridge and no ice. There iare food particles in the microwave. The first room still had food in the fridge. There were long dark hairs on the towels and also pubic hair in the towels. There were stains and burns all over the bed linens.
- Glen (7/5): Good -
- Bobby (6/5): - Didn't care for the area or service at all
- Mccraney (3/5): Poor - Location and friendliness of staff Water was not very hot, room had a smell, pillows were flat
- Kellie (4/5): Disappointing - Ice machine not working now for over a week no coke machine. Workers act like they don't want to rent rooms or be bothered.
- kannab2021 (10/5): Nice place to stay - Very clean room . Comfy beds. Staff at night is very nice...quiet. didn't have to smell the drugs like we did in Bessemer alab. I recommend it big time. But it does lack a laundry room for guests..we are from Ohio... Thank you for a great job
- Briahna (6/5): - Stains in the bed (under the pillows), washcloths stained, and refrigerator leaking.
- Milton (6/5): Not again - The room was no where close to as clean as other Motel 6 we had stayed in. The service was horrible. We literally had to kick the door to open it because it was messed up.
- Greg (6/5): Could be much better with a few improvements. - The room has always been clean. They accommodate me with the handicap room; I appreciate the safety bars in the bathroom since I’m mobility-impaired. They make my moving around much more secure. The TV channel line-up is extensive. The staff is friendly although language has been a problem. The ice machine has been broken most of my stays there. Ice is an amenity but an important one for car travelers. The mini fridge keeps our travel food safe but having ice for drinks and other cooling (like ice-bags for pain management) makes a big difference. This time the TV had bad sound. The speaker was blown from maybe too much volume at one time. Very annoying.
- Kris (3/5): the beds are uncomfortable and the staff is not friendly no one smiles or greets you and the manager is very rude - the property was decent
- Crystal (7/5): Good -
- Timofei (7/5): it’s great to sleep and go, no any other expectations - it’s an ordinary motel by the highway, so no any high expectations, guys. the towels, bed and room was so clean! the pressure of water and the temperature of water was 10/10 it was a bit cold so we brought our own blanket
- Ashley (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ladon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philpot (3/5): Poor - I liked the price Very rude employees and manager
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gloria (8/5): - We have stayed here before and came back. Clean rooms. A little bare bones but that’s ok. Bring shampoo. Good and shopping nearby. A little traffic noise but not bad.
- Maranda (4/5): - Roaches, noisy, broken toilet in a disgusting germ infested bathroom with who knows WHAT is even wiped on the walls and door, filthy floors and remote, bed headboard has shoe prints on it, blocked by “clean” pillows. Forgot your shampoo? Uh-Oh! This motel only gives two thin bars of cheap soap. Better drive to the sketchy store up street and get some! No tiny lotion or shampoos like most places.. Even the other disappointing motels I’ve been to have had that. Almost $90 to sleep on a bed that couldn’t even be wiped down at the headboard, extremely noisy all while worrying if roaches are gonna get on me. If they have roaches, what else do they have?? This is my 4th stay here, and I’ve learned my lesson. It’s not just “that” room. It’s all of the rooms I’ve been in. Do better, Motel 6! Save your money, there’s more places to stay in Gadsden. This motel, just isn’t it.
- Juan (8/5): Very good -
- Markalyn (5/5): Passable -
