• LEQUEUX (10/5): - Tout! L' hôte est exceptionnel .Il aime partager et apprendre. Il nous a fait découvrir et aimé sa région natale . C'était un immense plaisir de faire des excursions avec lui. Le plus dur était la séparation à la fin du séjour . Je le recommande à 1000 pour cent. Nous ne souhaitons qu'une chose : retourner chez lui afin de découvrir cette magnifique région . Pour ceux qui aiment la nature,allez y les yeux fermés. De ne pas rester plus longtemps et se prendre une claque entre le contraste avec cette ambiance du Delta avec Saïgon !

• Sylvia (9/5): A wonderful stay with very nice hosts. - We have choosen this hotel because of the positive reviews and that the owner is fluent in english. When we arrived we had a warm welcome. The room was ready for us. Since we are on a two months trip (luggage) and we will stay for 5 days here we asked if we can change to a larger room. This was accepted - finally without extra costs. Beside the good conversations over a glass of wine there are two things to mention: one was the nice trip to the nature "lung ngoc hoang" and the highlight the "sunset dinner cruise" with various spring rolls and a good bottle of red wine from Da Lat, We would like to thank the owners Tung and his wife for the excellent hospitality and wish success and all the best for the future. ,/,

Trung le propriétaire est extrêmement accueillant. Nous avons fait deux jours d’excursion avec lui (un en bateau et l’autre en vélo) en visitant la région. He offered a trip to the floating market and channels and it was so fun with him. The location is in the main touristic area of the city very close to the river walking street.If I come back to Can Tho for sure I will repeat experience same room same hotel. I rent a motorbike in hotel and was fine to move arround city for many shoppings and experiences at day and night.The city is very safe and people very nice.

The owner was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. He organized two trips for us, at very reasonable prices, one in the Mekong Delta and the next day a bike ride, both in very beautiful areas, other than those crowded and frequented by tourists. The trip to Can Tho was a great experience, which we would not have been able to do without the help of these wonderful people who do everything with kindness, professionalism and pleasure. Thank you for the beautiful hours spent together. -

En demandant au gérant celui-Co nous répond que la chambre a été faite et ne cherche pas à nettoyer les traces. Nous avons réservé l’excursion au marché flottant via l hôtel pour 520 000 duong par personne ce qui est assez cher. La guide était très bien par contre l’excursion en elle même n en vaut clairement pas la peine. 10 min passé dans le marché flottant, arrivés au deuxième marché, nous arrivons trop tard car celui ci est déjà fermé! 7 heures de bateau pour ne quasiment rien voir

• andreaswerra (10/5): Friendliest place ever - Perfect location for boat trips which will be perfectly organized by the super friendly owner of the hotel. Right around the corner you will the Night Market and other markets. We stayed there for 2 nights at a very reasonable rate.

However the Next day, we ordered a taxi to go to the airport and they got us a green car, no meter and no taxi licence and told us that was one of the local taxi companies. Room was like staying in something from the old times, Shower was cold, open cracks in timber doors, noisy male neighbours and some buiding works started at 6:30am without advice from staff. No kettle or free bottled water. Avoid this place and Can Tho if you can.

But what made our stay so enjoyable was the hospitality and reception of the owner. He helped with booking trips flight tickets everything you could wish for but then he surpassed being just an excellent host and became a friend. My partner was suffering with bronchitous and he arranged for him to see a local GP, but not only that he accompanied him also to see a specialist fortunately there was nothing seriously wrong. All this, took up half a day of his time. It was like we were family . We will keep in touch no doubt

I had a very nice room (nr. 1) with a very big window pointing to the street & I just loved it :). Very homely room (but not kitschy), a place to simply feel "at home" (vs. some of the rather bleak places I had been staying at before :). Clean bathroom, too. The house might be a bit poorly soundproofed (?), but I don't know for sure because I got used to sleeping with earplugs in Vietnam anyway ;)= The hotel manager is extremely kind & very helpful & speaks good English. So there is nothing I could complain about &, therefore, would like to highly recommend this place! :) :)

We also spent a night in the stardard room, clean and ok for a good sleep. Staff friendly and helpful.

The room itself didn’t have a window, it would have been nice to know this when booking the room, and we would have upgraded to another. However it was very inexpensive. They organised boat tour and bus the next day. All in all it was a nice stay.
• kangaroojacq (10/5): Amazing stay! - Really great stay at Kim Long Hotel. The family and staff that run the hotel are so kind, and really seem to care about their guests. Every time we came and went they asked how we were doing. The room itself was clean and had good AC. The location is also great, right beside the river. We booked the floating market tour with them and the tour was fantastic. We had an English speaking guide who was informative throughout the entire trip. The family also helped us book our trip from Can Tho to Phnom Penh. They booked the bus for us and arranged for taxi to our hotel for the following morning. Only downfall (which was of no fault of the hotel) was that the bus was not a sleeping bus so it was uncomfortable for a 6hr route.
• umbomble (10/5): A very warm welcome to Can Tho - Being relatively newly arrived to Vietnam, (we had only been to Rach Gia before where very few people spoke English) we were warmly welcomed to the Kim Long hotel. The staff and the owner were so friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange a tour of the floating markets in the Mekong and were fantastically accommodating.
• mp749505 (8/5): Lovely staff, great location - My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to explore the Mekong Delta. Location- great just by the river and a street away from street food and restaurants. Staff - staff are super friendly and helpful. Helped arrange a driver for the markets at $32 for 7 hours. Always smiling and helpful. Room - clean, hot water, great WiFi. Small negative that could be rectified, our room (6) had no external window, absolutely fine, but there was a gap in the wall with bats but no blind and during the night the hallway light was on and shone in making the room extremely bright to sleep in. A blind would prevent this and make sleep better

• RomanH11 (8/5): Great hotel - This is Great hotel for the price. It is just at the river side and close to all important locations. The family (owners) is very friendly and ready to help with anything you can think of. The do have also kind of travel agency, so can arrange tours. We stayed here with two kids and got room in the third floor. Nice view at the river and bridge. We can just recommend this hotel.
• CommodoreChris (8/5): Away from the noise. - Close to the waterfront and promenade this hotel is run by a friendly staff. The rooms are internal and therefore windowless with the exception of the larger rooms at the front. Good aircon. and little time in the room means it's not a priority. The roof terrace is cool in the evenings and offer a great view of the river, also dries your washing. A great 5 hour round trip to the floating market and beyond was an excellent outing. A small boat to the wholesale market that is not a tourist trap but a genuine fruit and veg market for rural farmers selling their produce. Up the creek to a noodle factory, then a 4 mile cycle through canal side dwellings with a description of the flora and fauna. Knowledgeable guide made it really good value and worth the sweat.

Elle nous a fait découvrir son hôtel, très confortable avec de belles chambres (qui méritent quand même un petit coup de neuf). Mais surtout l'hôtel propose des excursions sur le délta du Mékong, nous avons passé une excellente journée à découvrir les canaux et les marchés flottants. Je recommande cet hôtel !
• 61ScottS61 (10/5): A great place to stay in Can Tho. - I booked a room for two nights but ended up staying four nights because of the weather. Even though they were fully booked the last night they let me stay - they booked a room in another nearby hotel for a couple allowing me to stay in my room. The Kim Long is located in a great location. Everything is within walking distance. They arrange all types of tours as well as the most popular to the floating market. The staff spoke very good English and they were very friendly and very helpful with any local information I asked about. The room was expectedly small but clean. Wifi worked great. On my next trip to Can Tho I will be sure to stay here again!

No sunshine.....no hot water, when other customers use the shower before you... no hot water. Limited breakfast. You can choose between sandwich with egg or sandwich with jam. Positives. Perfect location, close to the started point to go to the floating market. Close to the night market.

We switched rooms gor the 2nd night Showers are 'wet Asian style The hotel has a good rep for travel services, we booked separately for the floating market and it was ok and significantly less expensive...but we spoke with other guests who were very happy with the market tour booked at the hotel

• emafrmaus (6/5): Small hotel close to the market and river pier - Got room #5 (2nd floor, street view, 4 flights of stairs) but asked to be moved to #1 (1st floor, street view, 2 flights of stairs). Room is OK for what it is, despite the illogical amount and placement of furniture. The bathroom has a stick-on warning, saying that one should wait 5 minutes for hot water. The staff is helpful and nice as usual ...
• Sophie (10/5): Great Value in Can Tho - The staff here are very friendly and helpful. We also booked an excellent guided Mekong cruise and bike ride with the hotel that I highly recommend.

• Go (10/5): Best hospitality - It's a small hotel. Breakfast is not good and corridor is smoky. But hospitality is the best I ever knew. All the staff are friendly and capable as concierge.
• Ruth (6/5): Great location for floating market - We arrived the hotel at around 11:30 pm. The receptionist, a young man, study to be a tour guide,is very nice. We requested for our floating market tour with English, when we arrived. The owner came out and say no problem. Sure enough, 5:30, they had the boat ready, the receptionist young man was our guidde. He is excellent. I asked for 3 hrs tour, we dod almost 4.5 hrs. Not rushed, leisurely, great experience. I gave him a big tip as an encouragement. We slept 5 hours there, than they gave us breakfast after the tour and helped book our bus back to HCMC. Good stay
• Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel direkt am Fluss - Genuinely friendly staff, organise good boat tours with englis-speaking tour guides. Ask for tour guide "Tee". Highly recommended.
• GWENDOLINE (10/5): Exellent - Très bon hotel ! Personnes accueillantes et disponibles. Chambre très propre, ménage fait tout les jours. Et bon emplacement de l'hotel, proche du fleuve pour pouvoir se promener.
• Denise Leclerc (8/5): Recommend Kim Long Hotel - Manager and staff were very helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot, breakfast was good. Floating market tour with T was great. Hotel is located half a block from river.
• Jim and Shellle (8/5): Great stay - Family run hotel, we were greeted at the front door when we arrived. Owner of the hotel speaks excellent English and is genuinely interested in making your stay enjoyable. Staff was very helpful with any enquiries we made.Went on a walking food tour as well as a Mekong River tour, cannot say enough good things about either. Hotel is very well situated near "the centre of the action" near the Mekong River and the night food markets. Very comfortable and clean hotel, I would recommend this hotel for anyone and would stay here again when I am in the area
• Vicki (8/5): Great location, friendly staff - Could not ask for a better location - near the night market and 2 min walk to the port to the floating market. The staff was very helpful in helping us get to the bus station the next day. It's a basic hotel, but it's got everything you need.

• Laura (8/5): Budget accommodation with fantastic staff - We had a budget double room, it was on the small side and the shower pressure was a bit low however air conditioning was great and the room cooked very quickly after a hot day and wifi was great. The location of the hotel was great and within easy walking distance to a nice walk along the river and the night market. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and a real asset to the hotel. The tours we organised with them were fantastic and both guides exceptional on our food tour at night and our 7 hour tour of the floating markets and countryside. Would highly recommend their tours and would stay here again. The price we paid for both the accommodation and tours was very good value.
• Torill M (2/5): Horrible hotel - Review of Kim Long Hotel, Can Tho, Vietnam. When we arrived at the hotel we expected to be sent to another hotel as we had received a mail fram the manager that the hotel was overbooked. However, the manager told us he had "upgraded" us to a family room with 3 beds and private rooftop terrace. We found the private terrace was also used as the hotels drying room, so not much privacy during day. Additionally the bathroom was not en suite, so we had to dress up and walk over the terrace to get to the loo. The manager's children were allowed to shout, fight and watch TV during breakfast without any reaction from parents. When the manager asked us if we ever enjoyed alcoholic drinks, we had to check our passports to see if our visa was for North Korea to visit Kim Jong-un in stead of Kim Long Hotel in Vietnam. We also were criticized for putting used towels on the floor. There were no pegs in the bathroom, and the towels would not be dirty if the bathroom floor had been clean. They also forgot to order bus tickets to HCMC, so had to leave at 2 in the morning. We will probably not be back
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent. - I stayed 4 days at the Kim Long Hotel - it has been my best hotel experience in nearly 3 months of travelling Vietnam. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The location is great, close to the river, markets and eateries.
