Plenty of space to cook, eat and relax which we didnt find in all the accom we stayed at. Room accessible by lift which was great. Bonus coffee shop attached and guests receive a discount. Room was a good size and had everything we needed. Whilst easily accessible from train station it is a decent walk into town which is fine if you like to explore local areas on your way in!

• Martha (5/5): - + Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und half uns beim ausfüllen des Ta-Q-Bin Scheins. + Die Duschen und Toiletten waren immer verfügbar und man brauchte nicht zu warten. - Es wird erwartet, dass im Gesamten Haus Hausschuhe getragen werden, allerdings sehen die bereitgestellten Schlappen schon sehr abgenutzt und unhygienisch aus. Es ist nur eine Schuhgröße verfügbar. - Sehr hellhörig. Morgens wurden wir schon um 6:30 uhr durch das Stampfen anderer Gäste und vor allem die Nutzung eines Föhns geweckt. - Das WLAN ist sehr schlecht und überhaupt nicht zuverlässig. - Es ist nicht erlaubt, im eigenen Raum zu Essen. - Durch die Platzierung des Bewegungssensors auf der Frauenintoilette wird eine der beiden Kabinen nicht erfasst, so dass man irgendwann plötzlich komplett im Dunkeln sitzt.
• Julie (10/5): - Surperbe Guesthouse avec une deco au top à base de Totoro 😍, la petite super Famicom avec Mario Kart ♥️, tout est nickel, acceuil discret mais très poli, chambre traditionnelle parfaite avec salle de bain privée, on a vraiment l’impression d’être dans une petite maison au Rez-de-chaussée, avec coin repas et canapé, nous avons d’ailleurs fait connaissance avec une française qui faisait le tour d’Asie (Sarah si tu nous lis ^^) la place de parking à 100 mètres très pratique, tout est à proximité, je conseille fortement!

• HSINMING (8/5): - Near by the bus and train station. We have a extra economy choice to stay in Takayama, although it is dorm. New and clean is amazing. Take bus to the main view points are expensive in this area. The local government charges additional foreign tax to visit this area, and it's interesting.

The kitchen was clean and well equipped and the lounge area was very comfortable. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. I really appreciated all the additional information available relating to top sights and attractions in the local area, local onsens, bus timetables and food spot recommendations. There was a very thoughtfully designed shoe storage system in place to prevent mix ups. Ear plugs were also thoughtfully available at the front desk, just in case. There were lockers for valuables in the dorms, which was really great. The showers were located on the ground floor, rather than on the same floor as the dorm rooms, but overall this didn't create any complications.

Staff were friendly and we were able to check in early (a treat in Japan!). Bed is a futon, I probably should have layered two as it was a bit hard on the hips!! Loved the communal area to relax on a comfy sofa and a kitchen to make a drink and cook a meal if needed.

• Jacob (10/5): Fantastic Guest House with lovely visitors and owners. - The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I had my own room, and it was very safe. The owner was so sweet and walked me around the guest house showing me all of the rooms and accommodations. She gave me great recommendations for what to visit. They also make great tea! The walk from the station was about 10-15 mins on paved sidewalks. Everyone who was there, from visitors to staff, was incredibly kind and happy to socialize. The public areas are very comfortable and cool. I love the decor and how everything is organized. It is very conducive to having fun. The hostel is a bit out of the way from the main town area, but not more than a 10-15 minute walk.

Me dejaron una nota de bienvenida en la habitación que me encantó y estábamos al lado del baño compartido (como no había mucha gente, si lo necesitábamos podíamos usarlo también, aparte del nuestro, porque éramos 3 personas). Tienes que dejar los zapatos en la entrada (todo bien con eso) y las zapatillas que te dejan son compartidas con todo el mundo, en lugar de tener cada uno las suyas.

• AlejoBra (10/5): - La ubicación nos resulto ideal, logramos caminar desde ahí todo lo que queríamos en Takayama, nos cuidaron las maletas par de horas antes y después de hacer uso del hotel. El tamaño de la habitación doble es fenomenal, tiene espacios para las camas tradicionales/continentales y el espacio para las esterillas tradicionales orientales. Los servicios del guest house son compartidos nada del otro mundo (4 duchas individuales) y baño de hombres/mujeres en los pisos sólo algo a lo que considerar y acostumbrarse, los servicios son bastante aseados. N/A, sólo considerar los servicios compartidos.

Las paredes son muy finas y se oye todo. Hay otras personas que pegan portazos de noche o de madrugada y son poco respetuosos. Lamentablemente, esto hace que el hostel no sea de 10, pues es difícil conciliar el sueño con todo este jaleo.

Ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene, la camera era molto bella e la sala grande comune ha dei kimoni con cui farsi le foto e un nintendo con cui potersi rilassare la sera. Molto gentile e disponibile lo staff. Molto bello anche per conoscere qualche altro turista in giappone!! Consigliatissimo! La stanza era perfetta ma entrava un pochino troppa luce la mattina, giusto questo la persona che dormiva nel letto vicino la finestra non ha dormito benissimo. Ma per il resto tutto perfetto!

• Moises (9/5): Muy recomendable. - Acogedor, extremadamente limpio, tranquilo, con ambiente cosmopolita y buen precio. Establecimiento muy, muy recomendable para la gente que le gustan los albergues (cocina común y lavandería self service en lugar de restaurante y servicio de habitaciones). Pero sin ninguno de sus inconvenientes (tiene duchas individuales amplias, zonas de aseo impecables..) Podría estar más céntrico, pero como es una ciudad pequeña no es un problema y tiene un Konvini y un aparcamiento muy próximos. Todo me gustó. Lo más parecido a una pega que puedo poner, es que me hubiera gustado haber encontrado a la venta una yukata que me hubiera gustado, las que había para venta eran demasiado llamativas.

• Jacob (10/5): Lovely hosts and lovely accommodation - The staff and the people were very friendly. They let me change my accommodation to upgrade my room and didn’t charge me a fee even though it was the night before. They clearly explained the rules of the property and were very accommodating to all my needs. It was close to the station (<10 min walk). The place was very clean and had an elevator. There was really nothing bad to say about the property. Maybe that the private rooms didn’t have a bathroom, but for the price I didn’t expect it to.
