Sebastian (10/5): A fantastic hostel stay with an amazing team, comfortable, unforgettable and wonderful vibes, 10/10. - The staff at Hostel Fish were absolutely amazing, super friendly, welcoming, helpful at any time, and honestly felt more like friends by the end of my stay. My bed in the 8-bed dorm was very comfortable, spacious, and practical, with a curtain for privacy, a light, and a power outlet right at the bed. The room looked exactly like it did in the photos, and the lockable storage under the bed was huge, it easily fit my large suitcase, a backpack, a poster tube and shoes. The location is also perfect: very central, close to downtown, food spots, nightlife, and everything you need. I would definitely stay here again. Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. The hostel had everything I needed: clean bathrooms and toilets on every floor, towels, a kitchen, a fridge, coffee facilities, and a great common area with a super comfortable couch. I really have nothing to complain about.

Piers (10/5): Great hostel - The hostel really is very clean and well presented. The private bunks include power and lighting and storage underneath as well as a shelf for phone etc inside the bunk. Good facilities including well presented bathrooms and showers, as well as a games area and bar. Appears the curfew would mean you can't get in if your out late! (After 2am I believe it was) Double edged sword for some guests.

Doran (10/5): Denver’s hidden gem and a way to live a piece of the frontier! - The hostel “hosts” are amazing and truly a great fit for the position. They welcome every guest and give them a good take on lay of the property and surrounding businesses/good spots to explore! It’s a must during my offseason to stay at hostel fish and decompress. The kitchen area is superb, Whole Foods relatively close. It’s great! The pac man machine no longer being there. Bring back pac man! :)

AJSim (6/5): Good but loud - The bar is great. The staff are great. the building is historic. It's noisy. For some reason people are allowed to blast music at the bar until the late hours of the night. They have free ear plugs for you... but the better solution is o automatically turn off the bar's audio equipment at midnight.
Igor (8/5): Located close to public transport, which makes it easy to get there. - There is a real atmosphere that comes through in this place — a very nice vibe with the lighting, the decor, the vintage touches, and the bar. The room is spacious, with a central light, individual lamps and power outlets by each bed, plus a storage compartment underneath that you can lock with a padlock. The staff is kind and professional. The kitchen/lounge area also includes the bar, and this room is closed in the morning, so it’s not possible to get a coffee or breakfast before 8 a.m. There is a lot of music, sometimes a bit too loud, and the hostel is located next to a bar that also plays loud music.
James (6/5): Great value for a quick turn around! - It was easy to find get checked into and catch a shower and crash. I mean in their defense it was a friday night but the music blaring in the bar down the hall until 2 am wasn’t the best.

Full bar with friendly bartender, and although not used, the kitchen appeared to have the essentials to support a longer stay. Clean beds, showers and bathroom. Maybe a little expensive for a community bedroom.

The hostel is in an area surrounded by bars and clubs, and it has a bar inside. I could hear every outside noise, and the bar inside was loud until the early hours of the morning. Do not stay here if you need a place to sleep.

Comfortable bed and clean washroom facilities. Adequate space to securely store my luggage. Even though there is a bar on the premises, I was not able to hear any of the noise from my room. Great value, and the kitchen and lounge areas onsite are another plus. Will stay again! Hostel Fish was perfect for my needs.
Miriam (4/5): Mixed feelings. - Kitchen, Bar, Reading Area were really cute. Some of the personnel was also very helpful and orderly. Very easy to use & get around. Alarm went off in the middle of the night, beddings are very thin & low quality, price is rather steep considering that no breakfast is included. Kitchen and main door are locked between 2 am and 7 am, making it impossible for early risers to drink a tea or eat something proper. Only way of contacting is through phone numbet, which is impractical for international travellers. Only very few lockers are available outside of the dorms, and when I asked if I could use one of the big (unoccuppied) lockers upstairs so that I would not disturb other guests when rummaging through my stuff early in the morning (or even in the afternoon aince someone out of the 10 people always seemed to be sleeping),, I was told no, that I should use the ones that are available in the alley (which fitted not even my small travelling bag, let alone checked-in luggage.). The alternative would have been an unsecured storage area. One evening the shower wouldn't turn warm, and in another shower I tested the amenities were empty. Upfront I received two warnings that Covid Rules were applying, which turned out to not be true - bit confusing.
Hill (6/5): People were nice and vibes were there just not the cleanest - I liked the vibe and the themes of rooms, kinda outdated but it was a cool spot Not much to complain about other than the room I stayed in smelled like body odor, they should be strict on personal hygiene when staying with random people. If your getting there after a long flight, they bump music until about 1am. Depending on what room you stay in it’s pretty loud. I was right by the bar and the music was blasting

Marie (8/5): - The Hostel itself is fairly quiet. I was a little worried when I checked in and there was a busy bar, but once you get upstairs to the rooms it’s very quiet. It’s pretty clean for what it is and everyone in the maps room was quiet and respectful. The bunks do get quite warm so maybe bring an eye mask and some ear plugs to help and then you can keep the curtain open for more air.
