- Annon (9/5): A small, clean room with small comforts you'd never find in a chain hotel - I loved the eco-friendliness; the GOOD coffee; real mugs, not plastic, to drink out of; a small, clean room with all that I needed. Small refrigerator in an old-fashioned design made me smile. It wasn't a problem, staying on a spring night, but I'd encourage the management to revamp the circuitry before winter, so that one can use the bathroom fan and the heater without worrying about blowing a fuse.(A little sign warned me about this.) I'd love to see this motel do well and be there when I pass this way again, but outdated wiring is something weary travelers would prefer not to deal with.

The vintage decor gave it so much charm and made it feel really adorable and cozy while still being nicely updated. The staff was also very sweet and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The stay was wonderful overall — the only challenge was the parking being a little tight for my large truck.

- Alison (8/5): It would do in a pinch for a night, but I wouldn’t stay longer - Relatively inexpensive for Durango Concrete floors in the room, very few flat surfaces to put things down, and tiny parking spaces. Location was north of the main town.

Lots of plush towels and washcloth. A porcelain filter to brew a nice cup of coffee in the morning, a water heater to bring water to a boil, the way it should be done. A sound device at the bedside to help calm the mind with water sounds, lights, etc. Great bathroom, spacious and very clean. Fridge, freezer and microwave.....nostalgic and very cute. Wonderful decor and thoughtful notes and explanations everywhere. A rare and unique find among the usual motels. Definitely recommend this place....12 stars and more nothing

Close to town and a late closing brewery as well as a riverside bike trail. Well, the room was quite cozy (read small) but that was because we travel with too much stuff!

Staff were super friendly and helpful and the TV had Roku so we could stream our favorite shows. Loved the decoration and would stay again. Bed was slightly too firm for our taste but other than that there’s nothing else I could complain about.
- denalidigs (9/5): Modest Motel with Vintage Mid-Century Charm - The Siesta Motel is a gem of a place. US HWY 550 is a much busier hwy now than it was when this motel was built in the middle of the last century. The road noise is annoying, but the updated vintage charm makes up for that. Plus, the hwy does quiet down over the middle of the night. The rooms are small, true to their period, but the bathrooms are nicely updated and cool!

Other patrons not cleaning up after their pets or parking correctly in the lot was annoying. Please have manners when sharing a public space!

Price for our dog was high - we understand but wish their was a deposit system where if our room was clean we could be refunded part of the fee - we travel with our dog because boarding is too expensive - however - people with pets need to be more considerate and leave the premises as they found them and not allow their pets to harm anything.

- Michal (8/5): - מוטל ממש מגניב. בעיקרון לא אמורים לנקות חדרים אז אם חסר משהו יש חדר שממנו אפשר לקחת כל מיני דברים, כולל חלב לקפה או מברשת שיניים ודברים כאלו. כשהגענו היתה לנו בעיה עם הרכב השכור ושלי בקבלה עזרה לנו מאוד. על זה נתתי 8 ולא פחות החדר פשוט היה לא נוח. מקלחת פיצית והיה קשה להתקלח. מבין חדרי המלון שהזמנתי בחופשה זו זה היה החדר הקטן ביותר. הצ'ק אאוט אמור היה להיות ב 10. כבר לפני 9 נכנסה מנקה לחדר שחשבה שעזבנו. לא לעניין.

Front desk even gave me a bandaid after I cut myself!!Very quiet despite being on a busy highway. Provided coffee was delicious!! Nothing

- Ann (10/5): Comfy hotel close to it all - The location was perfect. We had a wedding to attend at the River Bend Ranch, and this was only a few miles down the road. Very clean room with a comfy bed. We would stay here again. Reasonably priced too!

- Andrew (10/5): A Cute, Updated, Fun Motel! - We loved our one night stay here! Only suggestion... install adjustable shower heads or even shower wands. The small shower and static shower heads made thorough cleaning almost impossible. Everything else was wonderful!
- Audra (4/5): - Way overpriced for a room with concrete floors, sink that wouldn’t drain and an extremely small shower. The roll up blind also broke and the A/C and fan unit was very loud. We’re campers so we weren’t looking for luxury but a decent place to relax for the money paid. Staff was friendly though.
- Sharald (10/5): Love the charm - This is my second time staying here and I love it. I Love the fun decor and comfortable bedding and its overall charm. I travel to Durango for work, and as a woman traveling alone I feel safe staying here

- Erling (8/5): - This is a 1950ish style motel. Rooms are small. But other then that. The rooms were very clean and bed was excellent. Staff was friendly. So if you don't mind a small room, then this is an excellent choice to stay.

- Paula (7/5): - Kids liked the Retro look and feel Location. Older motel so parking was crowded. We booked the family room. The couch needed pitched and a new one brought in. That was the only complaint.
