- Mark (1/5): -
- Amy (10/5): Good job - Easy check in
Affordable
Clean
Comfy Could keep the safe door closed and I kept hitting my legs on it
- David (3/5): - Water pressure. Dirty, not well maintained. Price is too high for what you get. The online photos are very misleading. I've stayed at several different red roof inns and this is by far the worst. My wife actually said " this place probably charges by the hr." We didn't stay our second night. We left. Definitely not a good experience.
- Mccall Maffin (10/5): Loved it - Nice night person Nothing
- shara (4/5): Tiring night - The quiet location, free parking, pet friendly, Half the lights in mine and my son's room didn't work, the toilet backed up after every flush, there was a high pitched whine every 2 hours lasting about 45 mins each to which kept me up all night, the shower head in son's room sprayed water out the back and down the wall, the water was only lukewarm 2 hours after the previous shower, the bed was made neatly but there was dirt under the top sheet and comforter,
- Cheyenne (2/5): Horrible. - The convenience of how close we were to the venue . There were roaches , burn holes in the blankets in both non smoking rooms , questionable human bodily fluids on mattress cover , nasty stuff all over the walls . The man at the front desk took us out of our first room we complained about and put us in an even worse room where we found the roaches . And still has yet to do anything about it . He didn’t check the room until 2 hours after we had already headed up to the diner at the top of the hill after check out . None of the lights worked in either rooms . The first room we stayed in had a stained black rim around the toilet boil as well . It looks like the house keeper is quite lazy and we witnessed her only take 5 minutes per room. We had our son with us and had mentioned that multiple times . There were drugs addicts roaming the parking lot all night and yelling . I wouldn’t recommend staying here and will be calling guest relations later on.
- Drummond (1/5): They took my reservation money and made me wait 7 to 10 days to get it back and I was out of a place - Nothing they charged me for a stay then when I went to check in they said I could not check in that they flagged me. That they charged me and knew that they were not going to let me stay.

- Joyce (10/5): - Front desk was very helpful. Wanted 1st floor, but unavailable. Room was available next day and we were moved. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Driveway was finally fixed and driveable Rest of parking lot needs repaved.
- Destiny (7/5): -
- Ian (9/5): -
- Theresa (2/5): - Parking was fine and we were allowed to bring our pet. Bath tub dripped and was dirty when we got there. Light above the bed doesn’t work and lighting very low in the room. Tv reception poor. No ice bucket or cups in the room. But when we complained they left a bucket when we’re not there. We never found an ice machine or signs to one. Room is in poor condition with some exposed pipes or something above the door
- Garrett (10/5): - Been here for over a month and staff is super helpful
- Janice (2/5): Didn’t really sleep, - No breakfast Potholes, muddy barefooted footprints on wood floor, hole cut in plaster at the head of the bed, non working lights above headboard, stain on underside of bedspread-(I was checking for signs of bedbugs-fortunately none found.
- Joellen (10/5): -
- Joshua (6/5): -
- Heather (2/5): Y'all gotta step y'all's game up ! - Floors were filthy and not mopped or swept.
Sticky stuff on floors and counters
no coffee cups for coffee.
The bathtub not cleaned the shower walls and bottom has hair ,blood and other nasty all stuck to it.
It's a room with a kitchen and absolutely no pots pans or utensils inside the room to use.
No laundry even tho it says it has washer and dryer.
No ice machines
Extremely limited on any options for literally anything. It's basically a stay the night kinda hotel not meant to really accommodate one to make it feel more homely or inviting.
Basically only staying there because it allows pets. And I travel with my dog to every new job or project I get.
- Virginia (2/5): - Horrible hotel. Take off Expedia. Literally craters all in the parking lot. It will ruin your car. The rooms are disgusting. Bring your own towels and comforter and sheets. Just plain gross. The floors Ewk. Everything.
- Yah-el (4/5): Will not stay here again. - The person on the desk when I checked in was very nice. There were a lot of potholes. It was not possible to enter the parking lot without going through some potholes. The room was dirty and run down. There were stains and holes everywhere (bed spread, walls, etc). There was soap grime on the counter. When I stepped off the bed the carpeting felt wet. I thought that there was breakfast included listed when I booked. I may be mistaken, but there was nothing set out in the morning. I was just so keen to leave I didn't even ask if it was my mistake. The price was very low for the room.
- Jamileth (8/5): - Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was decent. Unfortunately, the entrance and the parking lot were full of potholes. Made driving in and out of property too much of a hassle.
- James (4/5): - Rub down. Dirty. Cigarette burns in comforter. Major pot holes in driveway.
- Michael (4/5): - This place is falling apart. The road, the building, the rooms. I did not have hot water. The outside of the hotel is in desperate need of renovation.
I saw some fireflies in the creek behind the hotel though. That was really cool for me.
- Karen (10/5): Will come back on next business trip thru - Very helpful front desk accommodation
- Ciara (10/5): - Very nice hotel, friendly staff.
- Noah (4/5): - Parking lot had huge pot holes that were unavoidable. The comforter had cigarette burns all over it and the room smelled very stale - almost like old cigarette smoke smells. The mirror looked like it was ready to fall off the wall. The lighting in the room was not very bright. We were disappointed because we have looked to Red Roof Inns for an affordable stay through the years.
- Denise (5/5): Passable -
- Charlie (2/5): - Do not waste your money. Do not count on getting a restful night sleep. Do not count on getting your security deposit back.
Entire facility is in major disrepair, driveway and parking lot included. Beds are old and sagging. Sheets are ripped and stained. TVs, microwaves, and refrigerators are old and barely work. Laundry facilities are broken and management has no plan for repairing or replacing. The hot water is barely warm, and there is a lot of drug dealing and prostitution within this facility. A $50 security deposit is required, and I had to threaten contacting the FTC in order to get mine refunded to me.
- Jimmy (6/5): - There were a lot of potholes on the parking lot.
- Kevin (8/5): - The place was fine. The parking lot and driveway his driveway was in very bad condition
- Michael (1/5): Bad - The price The room was smoky, even though it was a non-smoking room the parking lot full of pot holes got a nail in my tire leaving in the morning. If you stay here take pics to prove that you didn’t do anything
- Natalie (2/5): Yucky - This is one of the poorest hotels I've ever stayed in, and I am the queen of a cheap hotel. To start, I was surprised that they charged us a $50 deposit fee, even though we didn't have any pets. One would think we were checking into the Ritz and not a little hotel in Parkersburg, WV. The actually room was very smelly. We couldn't decide if it was stale cigarette smoke (because we were in a non-smoking room) or if it was just musty. We sprayed handsanitzier and perfume in the room, several times. That night when we returned to the room after the event that brought us to the area, the people next door (also a non-smoking room) were clearly smoking in there--both cigarettes and pot--so I guess non-smoking is just a vague hope.
Additionally, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, we were only given two flat pillows, no shampoo in the shower, and the air conditioner made so much noise throughout the night that I didn't sleep at all.
The very worst part, though, is the parking lot. There are massive holes and half of it looks like it's falling apart. I'm glad I drive a high SUV or I might not have made it out of there at all.
- Janice (8/5): - Bobby at the desk was very nice and helpful. Someone had tried to clean the old room and that is good. Sheets and cover full of burns and warped door with a broken lock and a parking lot full of huge hole shows the company cares nothing about making this a better place. Sad.
- Thomas (7/5): Good - I had stayed here before and always found it nice. This time it seemed to have become somewhat run down
- Luis (5/5): Passable -
- Lester (7/5): The stay was calm and quiet - There was no breakfast. The location could have been better The cable tv
- M9677DOashleyw (2/5): Horrendous - This is one of the grossest hotels I've ever been to. On arrival, our room reeked of cigarette smoke. There was apparently no phone line and the phone itself was covered in a weird substance. The bathroom door had a fist hole in it. Cigarette butts were clearly let out on the side of the tub. The TV remote was busted open with no batteries. Oh and on our way out, in the godawful pothole filled parking lot, we got a nail in our tire! Stay far away from this place.
- Joyce (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sean (6/5): Not a great experience - Most of the lights didn’t work. Toilet ran all night and next morning the hotel had no water. No shower, no flushing.
Rooms all smelled like smoke and policies are clearly not enforced. Doors busted and boarded up, a car on blocks in the lot…
- Nate (6/5): Pleasant -
- Coulter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Andre (2/5): - I hadn’t even put my stuff away when a roach ran out from under the bed and up the wall. Now I have to go through a whole process to get my money back with Expedia.
- Journey (8/5): Good - Nice hot water with strong stream for tired muscles. Comfortable and clean room
- david (8/5): - There is REALLY a need to at least patch the holes in the driveway and parking lot...definitely dangerous to your car.
- Robert (1/5): Bad - Only one towel in the room the water didn’t get hot for a shower. The bed spread had burn holes all over it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It’s a $50 a night hotel. It was adequate for the price, Cable would’ve been nice thought
- John (3/5): Poor -
- David (2/5): - Potholed entrance driveway, only cleaned room once, water stood in bathtub while showering.
- Tyler (1/5): Very bad - Disgusting. Blood stains on blanket, roaches and ice cream all over the fridge. Disgusting
- Robinson (4/5): Death of a salesman. - It's quiet for the most part. Not a ton of people running around. The roads and hotel are on a slow decline and in need of updates and repair. It's dusty, and the bare minimum of everything is provided. The shower feels like I could fall though if I jumped just right.
- Rita (10/5): - The manager is awesome! We have stayed there before and our TV remote wasn't working. He was on it. Very nice guy. Also the individual who cleans the rooms does a Great Job as well. Smells so clean. Highly recommend for the price and pet friendly.
- Robert (2/5): - Hotel needs to be condemned
- Heather (8/5): Great clean value for an overnight stop over - The location was right off of 50, so if traveling that road I would highly recommend the location. The room was very clean for a budget hotel. The parking area was heavily pot holed so be aware if you have a low frame vehicle, but that was the only issue. Road and parking area are heavily pot holed.
- Toni (6/5): - People around here stay to themselves, and are polite with what little interactions you might have with staff or other guest, But the drive once you pull into the drive way is no joke, you better buckle up while going down to the main office building I wouldn't recommend a low clearance care by no means to try and embark on the journey, me personally if our car was in peak top condition, I would park at the omelette shop and walk the half a football field distance down and spare the bottom/under part of your car the abuse of that drive way.
- Toni (2/5): - The drive way just plain S**** A** like FR. If you want a good imitation of a roller coaster then by all means take the driveway dead on but if you like me and want to avoid whiplash and then I would just park at The Omelette shop before the driveway and save your car the abuse and just walk the half football field distance to the office area
- Tammi (6/5): room ok - early check-in not enough blankets
- Wendy (7/5): Good -
- Robert (2/5): Nasty - Door needed no key as you could push it open from the outside! Security lock was broken. Fortunately the deadbolt worked. We also piled everything not nailed down against the door.
Cockroach came into view when i moved the minifridge away from the wall. We didnt use the shower be cause we could see ick in the drain.
Another bug came out from under the chair in the morning...cat was playing with it and ate it after i killed it. The Red Roof Inn we stayed in the night before was so beautiful and this one was so awful! No
refunds and we were so tired. At least the bed was comfortable and the heater worked. Hardly any cars but the clerk said it was the only room available! It won't let me add photos!
- Michaela (8/5): - Nice
- Glennie (6/5): It was what it needed to be. - They have a friendly staff. Kindly. Thank you for that. They DO NOT own the ATM machine. Be mindful of using your card in it to pull cash.
It's a rather weathered location, but it provided me a bed for a couple of nights. I was thankful for that.
- Kimbi (5/5): Passable -
- Derek (4/5): - Stayed in Room 106 on 9/15/24. The staff was friendly but most everything in the room was dirty, damaged, or both. I'm used to staying in lower cost motels to save money but this one was bad (even considering the price).
Some of the issues: Security latch on door is broken and missing. Bulbs out over one bed. Door barely closes so you can see light / get air flow from outside. Looks like a hole was punched in the bathroom door. Shower curtain rod is ripping out of the wall. There was a Burn hole and 3 dirt spots on comforter. Cobwebs and dead bugs in front corner of room behind door, as well as above the sink. Sink only had hot or warm water (no cold). Saw multiple live cockroaches, one behind toilet, one next to bed, 2 on fridge. Exhaust fan and toilet very dirty. I did not feel comfortable using the shower given the state of everything else. Also didn't even bring my bag in to the room due to the many live and dead bugs found.
I have pics/video of each, as well as other random dirty / broken things. Would NOT stay here again.
- Danny (2/5): - The moment I pulled into the parking lot with potholes the size of my car I knew it was going to be bad…. The room smelled of mold coming from the AC unit. My nonsmoking room smelt of smoke and had burn marks in the sheets and there was random extension cords running from one building to the next outside. I’ve stayed as dozen of red roof inns but I will not be staying at this one again.
- Cathy (8/5): - It’s very quiet and laid back. We will stay there every time we are in the area. Just wish they would fix the potholes in the driveway going in.
- Flettah (1/5): Bad -
- Sam (8/5): - It was just a place to stay. No major problems and nothing to rave about.
- Delong (3/5): Poor - Nothing There were holes in the bed sheets and a hole in the bathroom wall. The light outside the bathroom did not work.
- Douglas (9/5): Superb -
- Noah (4/5): - Once my daughter found bed bugs, we turned our keys in and went and stayed at the MicroTel. It was about $27 more, but way cleaner.
- Douglas (8/5): - Price was excellent and office staff very accommodating. Room was nice and adequately clean. Several blown out light bulbs, however. Some ceiling damage above shower. Hair dryer had been busted open by some previous guest. Driveway full of potholes. For the very low price we paid I am satisfied, as none of the problems we encountered were a serious inconvenience
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexander (6/5): - Fix the pot holes. Update the rooms.
- John (2/5): Very poor - Bedspreads old and holed. A/C had to be replaced. Leaking toilet.
- Christopher (1/5): Bad -
- Axl (1/5): Bad - Nothing really was dirty How dirty it was we took and put backers of our on it to lay on
- Boreman (1/5): Worst hotel ever - Just the price The staff was rude and unwelcoming the sheets and blankets had burn holes in a no smoking room the fire detector off the wall ants on the walls and when woke up disrespectfully and very un professional would never recommend
- Casey (10/5): - Nice staff
- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional - Best service excellent customer service excellent workers staff Need to have a gate to keep non guests out
- Hause (10/5): The room was much more equipped and comfortable than I had hoped for. - The location was perfect for me. I had reserved the room for the price, and the room was much nicer than I expected. Also, there is a nice resturant right next door with excellent breakfast. I have no complaints.
- Hallinan (10/5): Great Value, Quiet & Convenient. - The staff was amazing! So helpful & friendly. The hotel is older, but the price reflected that. It's pet friendly and that was great, plus there was ample room in the back to let dogs exercise. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. For just a stay, I highly recommend this hotel.
- Kirstine (5/5): average - The location and price. It wasn't clean enough. The receptionist made us pay twice so we had to go in and get our money back.
- Hailey (5/5): Stinky and Very Loud - The front desk man was very pleasant. Cigarette burns in the comforter, gross wet smell in the room, and crack in bathroom sink.
- Taylor (10/5): - Good
- C Bradley (4/5): Bottom of an ashtray - Our "Non-Smoking" room smelled like an ashtray. The bedspread had 2 cigarette burn holes. The mattress was like trying to sleep on a slab cinder blocks. It was pet friendly and that was what we needed for the night.
- michelle (8/5): - Comfortable beds. Quiet area. Convenient restaraunt close by.
- Tina (10/5): Highly recommended - Friendly atmosphere quiet area No complaints
- Cheryl (4/5): Disappointing - There was no breakfast Even though it said it was a non smoking room, there was the odor of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was extremely small
- Brandy (8/5): - Room was clean. Staff was nice. Was a quiet area with a nice picnic shelter.
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bug Infestation - The room was bug infested, after the staff swapped us rooms - we were sent to another oom with cockroaches.
- Kelli (10/5): - Roads need repair.
- Cottrell (10/5): Exceptional - That's very helpful rooms are very clean Very quiet
- Michael (8/5): - I don't like that theirs no breakfast
- Melanie (4/5): - Smelled like cigarette smoke but it was an no smoking room. Bed cover had cigarette burns all threw it. No maid service. No cleaning or checking the room to see if bed needed made or if we needed towels. The floors were ok so was the bathroom.
