Guest Reviews
- gage (10/5): - Rooms are comfortable Barely any hot water for showers
- Jordon (5/5): -
- Nelle (7/5): Good Choice - HUGE room with 2 queen beds, very comfortable beds and sitting area. All of the amenities: coffee maker, microwave, fridge. Breakfast, though limited, was good. I like that hotel is located near town and the reservoir. Was able to take a nice walk. For the price, I was very happy. Friendly and helpful staff. Could hear other patrons in the hallway from inside my room.

- Дмитрий Попов (10/5): -
- Trent (10/5): -
- Karl (5/5): It was a good place to stay, being close to where we had to go - Coffee and Toast not must else TV's were not working,
Bedroom light not working
Kitchen cabin broken
- Stephen (8/5): -
- Don (8/5): Good value - Room was good. Staff were pleasant and easy to talk to. Breakfast is definitely lacking.
- Keaton (10/5): -
- Heather (2/5): - This is a workers hotel.
- Jaime (9/5): -
- Ruben (10/5): -
- M Cruickshank (9/5): Nice hotel in a beautiful part of BC - The room and bed were clean and comfortable. Nice location to take our dog for a walk. Beautiful place to explore and have a great weekend visit. Their are not a lot of facilities in the town and the open hours are small town business hours. Be prepared with your personal needs.
- Patrick (9/5): -
- Matthew (6/5): - Room was very clean but hallways, carpets and parking ares were quite dirty.
- Gloria (8/5): Clean and comfortable stay. I would recommend others staying here. - Good continental breakfast, especially the egg muffins. It was a bit noisy with the early worker traffic.
- dallas (10/5): - Great hotel
- Jim (10/5): -
- Heather (9/5): Loved it - staff was so friendly and helpful! - Great location! Not a great complimentary breakfast.
- Sharon (7/5): -

- Offthe (9/5): -
- stephanie (10/5): - Great updated and spacious room
- Shan Chih (8/5): - Awes
- Leanne (7/5): Affordable stay - Convenient, efficient and affordable. At times, the key cards didn't work, but the front desk was always available and quick to respond
- Leanne (7/5): -
- Lois (8/5): - There was a problem locking our room door and our toilet would not stop running. We were offered another room by the helpful staff.
- Maryam (6/5): Too bad - The hotel haa a good design. Rooms have kitchenette and are fairly large. Unfortunately looks like it's nit being taken care of. There was a futon in the room with no extra bedding. They didn't have extra blankets to give us. The breakfast was the plainest and so much plastic waste that was unnecessary. Looks like a great hotel going down the hole with poor, cheap management
- Thane (9/5): High value - Everything was great Breakfast was dismal
- Ken (8/5): The best place to stay in Hudson's Hope - breakfast was pretty sketchy. Not much there for sure. a muffin, toast, coffee and some other things but not great. the tv remote was totally a bitch and in 138 our room, the volume control did not work and it was set too low. Also, there are no instructions on how to use the channel guides.
- Beverly (2/5): - Would never recommend, dirty, worn, beds poorly made, dust everywhere in room and public areas. Breakfast sandwiches with eggs and meat just sitting out on cupboard, not refrigerated while breakfast hours are on. Front desk staff not personable, don’t care they have made a dollar on client and that seems all that matters.
- W (2/5): Very poor -
- Helen (4/5): - The room wasn’t the same type of room I reserved. Both light fixtures in the ceiling of the main area had at least 12+ dead flies/bees/wasps or whatever they were in them. The cold water tap in the kitchenette didn’t work. The original microwave with the range for the cook top was broken and instead of replacing it or removing it there was a second microwave on top of the desk that took longer to heat food than normal and the turn table in it was broken. Both sheer curtains had huge rips in them making them unusable so it was either blackout curtains or none. The shower curtain was ripped. There was a mouldy smelling scrub sponge for washing our dishes…I threw it out and asked for clean dish clothes. We had to get our key cards fixed three days in a row….i also heard someone at the counter asking to get theirs fixed saying they had to have it fixed the day before as well. No recycle bins in the rooms. The hot tub was empty. Some random guest in an elevator asked if there was anything broken or wrong with our room because they had heard from a lot of people that they all had things broken in their rooms. I told him about the cold water tap not working and he told me there is no toilet seat in his room. This place is a dump. Only good thing is the staff were nice and friendly.
- Arnold (3/5): Bad experience, stay elsewhere. - Location. Restaurant next door. Curtain has a really big rip across it. The long wall had large gouge marks and the paint was scraped off. There were two live black beetles in the bathroom and one dead one stuck to one of the mattresses.
The continental breakfast severely lacked. Frozen items to microwave, but contents were not identified. We asked the man at the desk, who didn’t speak English well, he said what was in it, but that was not the case when we ate it. Reheating instructions were completely inaccurate. The coffee tasted awful. No bread items to go with the toaster/jelly/peanut butter that was there. No napkins at all, and when we asked about them, we were told to use Kleenex. The orange juice was not fresh, but came in tiny juice boxes.
I have never had an awful continental breakfast experience before now.
- Carol (2/5): Very poor - Breakfast was horrible. A loaf of bread and prepackaged egg sandwiches. No fruit. No yogurt. Not even enough coffee to have a second cup. Not impressed.
Towels were like rags. Housekeeping didn’t leave any cups to make coffee. Had to use a bowl.
For price you pay simple things would be wonderful. Hotel was dark and dingy. I don’t think the wall in the elevator had been wiped in weeks.
I only saw staff seated on a chair sticking their head around the corner. No interaction.
The town I was in only gave me this as a choice for hotel. When you only have 2 hotels in town you really have no choice.
Noti impressed.
- O'reilly (9/5): Superb - Very clean, staff were great, even clean your room first thing in the morning. Haven't had that done since pre covid. Breakfast was pretty good with egg wraps and brown bags packed with muffin and Danish to take on the road! Coffee was also great, not weak ! Outstanding. Couldn't get either of the 2 room tvs to work. Multiple remotes which I'm not handy with, but I could have asked for help but I'm a guy....what can I say . Other than that it's a 10 hands down.
- W (5/5): Passable -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (10/5): We found the stay to be just what we needed -
- Russ (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (3/5): Poor - Lots of parking and beds were comfortable Hot tub was broken ( didn't inform us before booking) breakfast was pre-made food to reheat and coffee tasted like it was old. Room was dirty, coffee up wall and on counter and ketchup on walls by garbage can.
- Renee (6/5): - Broken toilet seat, 👎👎 for the continental breakfast, still out of service hot tub
- Jesse (8/5): - Room was clean and surrounding area was quiet
- Tammy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isaac (6/5): Other than that concerns with the being, it was reasonable clean - did not use the breakfast. front desk staff was nice, but there is always room for improvement it seems that the inner-sheets on the beds had not been changed. They only had stretched them from whoever used them previously.
- Stephen (10/5): - The guys at front desk were awesome. The restaurant in town closed early after our hockey game and buddy let us have a night breakfast.
- Philip (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jorg (8/5): VERY NICE! -
- Angus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rory (7/5): Good -
- Susan (10/5): Super comfy, friendly staff - I felt personally cared for. - There was some yogurt when I asked for it. There was a sweet roll that was good. I nicked it out of a bag for to-go breakfast. I’d have enjoyed some cereal and milk. Some fruit. The breakfast lacked any and all presentation tnst there was a breakfast being offered.
- Paul (10/5): - Room was good
- Paul (10/5): - Davi was great
- Terry Lynn (6/5): - Have to request maid service, towels…even toilet paper. Very nice about getting those things, here for a week and never once did the maid come in.
- Cara (8/5): - N/A
- Elmie (7/5): Good -
- Romanyuk (9/5): Superb -

- Dale (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryson (9/5): Staff were friendly. Hotel was quiet . Rooms were clean. - Bed was comfortable. Location was quiet and peaceful. Room was clean. They could use some new pillows and towels.
- Lois (9/5): Superb -
- Raymond (8/5): Continental Break fast was not very good. - Great location Easy access. Lots of parking.
Breakfast was sub par.
- Valerie (10/5): Nice getaway! - Very nice hotel and the rooms are quite large. Only improvement I would recommend is a better breakfast with more choices.
- Linda (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and good location Ac did not work and it was extremely hot
- Oory Jean Pierre (10/5): Nice place on the way - I stayed at the Sigma Hotel for one night during my long-distance motorcycle trip. The service was terrific. The guy at the front desk was amiable and helpful with everything I needed. Breakfast was fine. It was a continental breakfast. It was fresh, but you needed to heat it in the microwave. It was okay. It was edible, and the taste was good. I ate a few of them. I was hungry, and it was both excellent. I enjoyed my stay there, and I would recommend it to anyone who would pass by.
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (10/5): - We found it to be well appointed and staffed by helpful Singh! He was great guiding me to the property when my map APP tanked.
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (4/5): - I don’t think I’ll stay here again. I think I was the only person staying there (it’s a big hotel) and that’s a red flag. The “breakfast” should not be advertised. It was pre packaged breakfast muffins sitting on a room temperature counter. No fresh fruit or yogurt… or cereal even. There was coffee. They actually called me well before check out to see if I was checking out. I was in a meeting! Super irritating. Local advice is to stay at the Stillwater hotel down the road.
- Kierra (10/5): - .
- Simpson (8/5): Very good -
- Jasteesh (8/5): - It was ok ok
- Barry (4/5): - It advertised breakfast with sausage, waffles, etc, a poor continental is what’s available. “Fully equipped kitchen” had one terrible pot, POS can opener, no colander, and no fry pan. The fold out bed had no bedding and a bunch of sunflower seeds in it. The toilet seat was broken off the base, just sitting on top. And the hot tub was out of service.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly and they allowed us to check in early.
- Jordan (2/5): Terrible - Didn’t like the fact there was no one there after 11 pm and my key card didn’t work and I couldn’t stay in my own room. Had to sleep in another room and didn’t get to use my room till the next day. Also didn’t like that I paid top dollar for a room and the guys at the front desk were telling people they will take a much lower price at cash..
- D. (1/5): Horrible service - Not much Key card didn’t work and there was no staff from midnight to 5am. Was unable to get in my room, had to sleep
In my truck . No refund was still charged full for the evening
- Crews (9/5): Superb -
- Lee (1/5): Bad - Did not clean my room once in 4 days, had to go every day to front desk to get towels.

- Jobert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reena (2/5): - We arrived late after 18 hours on the road but there was no check in available. So glad they did not accept payment through Expedia. We had to drive all the way to Grande Prairie AB to get a room. I realize you left a message but travelling through the mountains means no service. Our drive was a total of 24 hours due to your lack of counter service.
- Sebastiano (10/5): - Nice and quiet staff was respectful
- Kevin (7/5): Good - Location right off highway close to town centre. Difficulty finding dining facilities. None at hotel, few in town.
