- Amanda (2/5): - We booked this for a one night stopover since we were passing through the Fredericton area but did not end up staying. The place looked really run-down and did not feel safe. We checked in and immediately left to look for somewhere else to stay.

- Peter (8/5): - This is a pretty old motel, and it is showing its age. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was fairly new, and clean, lots of hot water. It was a very inexpensive stay, and it served our need well.
- Karolina (2/5): - The room had an overpowering smell of cleaning fluid that didn’t dissipate even with window open. No screens on the windows, felt nervous leaving them open but had to not to choke on the smell. No coffee maker in room and no plastic cups to have a drink of water to brush teeth. The office attendant did find us 2 plastic disposable cups and gave us the price of coffee for when the bakery attached to building opened at 7:00am. I found a Tim Hortons 4.2 km”s away at 5:00am to buy coffee as am an early riser.

- Samantha (8/5): - The owner was very kind, accommodating and flexible. The check in space was a bit outdated but aside from check in that was the only time I was there. The outdoor pool was clean and refreshing. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I look forward to staying again!

- Jayne (10/5): - What a surprise this was for us. Nice little suite with a full kitchen. I'm guessing this is truly a family business and everyone was beyond kind and helpful. Added bonus is a lovely coffee house with the best homemade pastries and then treated ourselves to a pedicure at the spa. The motel is only about 10 minutes from Fredericton, so it was very convenient without the noise of the city.

- Charlotte (8/5): - The building looks a bit old and shabby from the outside, but interior was fine. Lobby smelled terrible (like moisture/mold) but the room was very clean and smelled good. Sheets smelled very good too and bed was comfy. The outdoor pool was very much appreciated in this heat wave. The bakery inside was delicious and staff there was lovely.
- Cheryl (6/5): - Our room wasn’t good. The bathroom needs to be updated. We were so nervous that the toilet would overflow, the paint on the walls was chipped. The room overall needs to be updated with new floors and furniture. We stayed 2 nights & the garbage wasn’t emptied during that time.
- Jason (6/5): - All was good. The only thing I didn’t really like about it was the fact that there was no coffee machine. I am a coffee man in the morning. I know this might be petty to some people, but most small motels do have a coffee machine they may have had one in the kitchenette, however they did not supply any coffee.
- Sheri (6/5): - Air conditioning didn’t work—extremely uncomfortable for sleeping. The bathroom was clean but the toilet was very low. We are seniors and a taller toilet would have been more convenient.

- Anthony (10/5): Hidden gem - I was headed to PEI from Calgary, it was my third day on the road and I needed a place to rest after a long day on the road. I got held up but the owner waited for me to arrive. He was super friendly and so nice, it was appreciated after a long day. When I got to my room it was great. I grabbed a shower with great hot water, fluffy towels that helped shake off the road. The bed was comfy and great sheets. I got a great nights sleep and was off to the Island refreshed.

The check in staff person was very friendly. We didn’t try the pool but it looked very clean and cute with a little lighthouse building beside it.

- Heather (10/5): - Super cute room! I liked the wood details, it feels like a place you could stay for a week or two. There are cooking appliances in the kitchen and a little table to eat at. I was only there for one night and just went in the pool, which was quite nice. Fire detectors work great! (Or turn on the fan when you shower haha)

- Grant (10/5): enjoyed the stay - We really were surprised about the size of the room. It was clean, the bed very comfortable. All the amendities of a kitchen with a large stove and fridge. The only thing missing was coffee and a coffee pot - lot of cups / mugs but no coffee or tea. There was an electric kettle.

- Joshua (10/5): - The Silverwood was the most affordable place to stay during the nights we were in Fredericton. The owner was very friendly and upgraded us to a suite. We spent an extra night in one of their regular rooms. The rooms were spacious with lots of storage room. The beds were very clean. The only downsides were that the wifi was on the slower side, and the walls were not soundproof. We would stay again.
- Dione (6/5): - We stayed for a tournament just for a night so we weren't looking for anything fancy. For the price it was worth it. Although we did have a table with a broken leg maybe it could use a little renovation. Overall I'd stay again if needed.

Water was turned off for a number of hours during our stay, due to construction on other rooms in the motel. Hot water takes several minutes to get through the pipes, to the room. Staff was friendly and pleasant.

- Tammy (8/5): Great potential for this quaint motel. - This motel is a work in progress. You can see where the upgrades are starting. The bathrooms have been thoughtfully upgraded and the room was refreshed with paint. The next steps should be the HVAC systems to provide quiet cooling and appropriate ventilation. Both would provide a more comfortable stay. The service was excellent and accommodating and they made us feel very welcome.

It’s not the Hilton but it’s clean, the staff was friendly and called me to ensure I got the key because we arrived late. The beds were comfy. There’s a delicious bakery attached that has fantastic coffee and baked goods.

The electrical circuit are not that strong because when the fridge are on and the microwave is on the the circuit turn off but overall everything is good. The pool is also clean

Even tv took minutes to connect to the channel and the position of the tv isn’t set correctly. Couldn’t watch from bed No coffee machine in the room but realized it was because it is to encourage you to go to their cafe which was charming. Really too bad about the WiFi because we will probably not go back.
- Mehmet (10/5): Homey - It was an excellent stay, it was nostalgic. It took me back to the early 2000s with the vibe the room was giving us. The room was very clean and very spacious, and we even had a little mini kitchen inside.
- Rod (10/5): - When we have to travel to Fredericton, Silverwood has become our go-to. Sure, it's a basic motel but it's clean and affordable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. My wife has a scent allergy and we have been able to request scent free for our room.
- Cynthia (10/5): A memorable stay! - We stayed the weekend due to a recent winter storm. Our room was upgraded on arrival due to storm but the online rate was identical for both nights. Room had full kitchen with separate bedroom. Although it is an economy motel, very clean, comfortable with bathroom upgrades. The Cafe was a bonus with an upscale authentic bakery. Wonderful and kind staff! Although parking is visible front and pack it is all greenery in back and except for building next to pool a beautiful green valley country view in front.
