Guest Reviews
- Paul (9/5): - Clean and comfy
- Desiree (8/5): Enjoyable - The room was very large and clean, the facilities were obviously well cared for. The room was set to 56 degrees so it was VERY cool and took a while to warm up to 64 which was still cool but more manageable with a newborn
- Josie (7/5): Ok - Loved coffee machine but not much to eat The manager double charging me for the room after I had prepaid before arriving and also marking that I wasn’t there to booking . Com when I was .
- lyndons822 (2/5): Horrible service very rude management - Horrible service, very rude staff at the front desk had to wait 25 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk
- Brandy (8/5): -
- Amron (10/5): -
- Taylor (10/5): -
- Greg (8/5): Very clean and super friendly staff. - Happy the rooms were all on the same floor and it worked good to have the one room above the breakfast room. That's where we all gathered. Really appreciated the 2pm check-in and 12noon check-out, The hot tub still being out of order. Very nice to have when playing sports!! Breakfast food was decent but the orange and apple juice are watered down and taste horrible. I believe I made the same comment last year,
- Kathy (9/5): It was great value. Bed was comfortable, room spotless and location was very handy to everything you need in Melville - Well kept. Rooms were very clean No hand lotion in the bathroom
- Alexandra (7/5): - Clean, bed was comfortable, we had the king spa-tub room. It was a nice size and water ran good. Location was good. Breakfast was not great.. No hot options, they had pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches that were really greasy and not good. The only other option for protein was bagged hard boiled eggs. Had a fancy coffee machine but the latte option only dispensed hot milk mixed with water. Switched to plain coffee out of the same machine, it was actually pretty good.
- Cindy (10/5): - I love the view and the room was very nice and spacious. The parking
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Heather (7/5): -
- Jason (5/5): - How close it was to what I was in Melville for The Breakdast is shouldn't even be called breakfast because it's stale breakfast sandwiches that are cold and are still not tasty after only having a microwave to warm the u. The building needs updated. You can hear everything going on when people are walking buy or parking or even cooking in their own rooms.
- Jeff (8/5): - Close to event area Your breakfast did not have anything hot other than the waffle. There were no egg sandwiches or hard boiled eggs. There was a lack of variety in the bread and the coffee machine only dispenses French vanilla or Hot chocolate and no regular coffee.
- Igor (10/5): -
- Rodney (6/5): - Location The room still had dirty towels in the bathroom when we checked in so that was disappointing. No working hot tub
- Rodney (7/5): - Location The breakfast isn’t great but the coffee at breakfast was good. No hot tub as listed
- Ashley (9/5): Amazing management - the manager of Sigma was extremely helpful and Kind. When I had issues with my booking he accommodated immediately with empathy. Because of this professionalism and kindness I would 100% recommend. The Breakfast was delicious with lots of options for adults and kids. I felt safe being at this hotel and not worried about cleanliness. booking.com double booked me. thankfully the hotel rectified the situation
- stephane (10/5): -

Good value for free breakfast Exercise equipment and hot tub were not working. Lobby wasn’t clean. Minor upkeep needed in rooms.
- Monica (7/5): -
- Beatrice (10/5): - Staff friendly and accommodating
Room clean and comfortable
Plenty of parking
Workout equipment/hot-tub needs work.
I would definitely stay here again.
- Gerald (6/5): - Poor breakfast. No effort put into it. No one keeping the area clean. Noisy fan in room.
- Laura (10/5): - I liked staying here, it was clean staff is friendly and close to everything restaurants shopping etc
- Alysha (8/5): - Good hotel, clean room, beds and towels. Only thing is lobby is dirty. Needs to be vacuumed.

- EILEEN (10/5): - Very pleasant stay.
- Gerald (8/5): - Clean and quiet.
- Harasymuk (9/5): Said above - We were treated well and the premises were nice and clean
- Geoff (8/5): - no problems shopping and food very near
best place in melville
- Rod (8/5): - Was a little disappointed with the breakfast. No eggs or bacon just frozen sandwich.
- Blair (8/5): - Air conditioning didn’t work, but room was partially below ground level so wasn’t warm. Has light breakfast buffet, does the job. Probably best hotel in Melville
- David (4/5): - Night staff have no customer skills. Seemed like we were an inconvenience when we checked in.
- Paul (8/5): - It was exc
- Grant (7/5): - Clean, comfortable room Tv didn’t work. When we called the front desk they said no one was there to help us out.
- Kaitlan (10/5): - Stayed here for our wedding, easy check in, excellent size rooms
- Ian (8/5): - No staff. Had to wait for somebody at check in. At breakfast, there was NOBODY in the 30 minutes we were there to complain to about the lack of pancake mix. Just two examples for the rating.
- Brenda (4/5): - The shower head barely spit out water.
The soap bar was too small and only one!!
Went to the desk for change to use a machine and they couldn’t break a $20.
Had to phone every time i needed to talk to desk .
- Juanita (7/5): It was passable for a one night stay. - The breakfast wasn't much. Some of the appliances, didn't work and not much selection.
- Michael (5/5): -
- Ted (10/5): - Free breakfast was a nice surprise. Thank you
- Curtis (8/5): - .
- Derek (8/5): - Clean no muss no fuss
- jay (2/5): -
- Jolene (8/5): - The shower curtains are too short, so after showering there is a flood on the bathroom floor
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy Stop - Offered a comfortable place to stay for the whole family.
We appreciated the service and proximity to food and stores.
- Y5486NZrobynm (6/5): Tired - We have stayed here a quite a few times over the years but this past weekend we really noticed how tired it was starting to look. The hot tub has been full but out of order for years. Gave part of the family a room that was already occupied, the keys were persistently not opening the room. The staff are not overly friendly but were able to accommodate our needs.
- Terry (6/5): - Check in was ok, we had reserved a king room, but got a room with 2 beds, could not get the shower to work, no matter what we tried.
TV , worked for 5 minutes, called the front desk, were told all the instructions were in the cask drawer, and nothing in any of the cabinets, so he came up and change the receiver, then we got 1 channel, will we stay there again, no, room next to us partied till after 3:00 am
- Laurel (10/5): - This was a nice motel. Clean. Had a fridge and an elevator.
- Kristen (10/5): - My husband had to travel for work from BC and booked last minute for 2 nights which was extended for a third. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. He very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We can highly recommend!
- Michael (10/5): - Nice place clean rooms
- Mike (6/5): - Dated fixtures. The bathroom door handle came off on first use. The clock in the room didn't have anyway to change the time to make it correct. The hair dryer was so clogged with hair that it blew a circuit breaker. The TV channel guide provided bore no resemblance to reality and was useless. At breakfast the juice dispenser was broken and thus no juice was available.
- Michael (10/5): - Nice and clean property.
- Iris (10/5): - Wonderful - got upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi - lovely!
- Tom (8/5): - Need some updates in The foyer.
Breakfast good, room had a cleaning smell and bed was lop sided
- Tara (8/5): Best place to stay in Melville - Clean and good amenities. Could use more options for the breakfast. Pillows are too thick, uncomfortable.
- Braxton (6/5): - just an average hotel, the hotel host on the night shift was very disrespectful wasn’t very pleased, but the building is nice and a average hotel, nice and clean
- Merv (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (8/5): Very good - It was a newer facility central to town. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Other guests had to locate staff to stock as it was empty
- Dustin (10/5): - Continental breakfast made for a nice start to the day
- Patricia (10/5): - There was nobody at reception but came when we called. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was good with a great coffee machine.
- Thinta (10/5): 9 hour free check in - Great hotel indeed
I was allowed to check in early with no extras and I greatly appreciate the way the treat their clients
- Michael (6/5): - The oroperty was understaffed. One person was expected to man the front desk
- Catherine (8/5): Fair - Location Cleanliness
- Matt (5/5): Passable -
- Barb (9/5): Quiet, clean and affordable - Good location, quiet and very clean facilities. The continental breakfast was minimal, with microwave breakfast sandwiches/cereal and a waffle maker; however, no batter remained.
- Wilbert Joseph (8/5): - The hotel was clean and well run. The bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was a little underwhelming, but thankfully, there was lots of options just across the street. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- Christine (10/5): - Highly recommend! I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my stay!
- Peter (10/5): - It is a great place to stay. Clean, quiet and close to all shopping and restaurant areas of Melville.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Business trip - Clean comfy hotel. Breakfast was very limited and I expected better for the cost of their rooms.
- Christiaan de (6/5): - Clean and easily accessible. Very poor breakfast for the price of this accommodation.
- Eugene (10/5): - This property advertised a full breakfast but in fact provided a continental breakfast. Otherwise everything was good.
- kristine (4/5): - The air conditioner did not work nor heat. The breakfast was not good. The juice was watered down and the waffle maker was dirty
- Ron (8/5): - easy to access for parking
- Lorne (8/5): Very good - The location was nice for dog walking The hot tube might have been working.
- Jennifer (7/5): Nice stay - staff was friendly. Location was great as a parent of a MILLs player. - Marg - our cleaning lady was AMAZING! So sweet and I appreciated a clean room daily. Breakfast was basic but I appreciated that the room was open to grab water or tea or a piece of fruit during the day. Our heater was VERY loud/clicked on high. I had to turn it low tho it was below zero every day.
- Dwayne (6/5): - Staff at the front desk was not overly welcoming but maybe he had a bad day. The hotel promotes a hot tub which I tried to use. It was half full of water which looked like it had been sitting unused for months. Next time, I would drive 20 minutes to Yorkton.
- Kurt (9/5): Superb -
- SHUXIU (10/5): - Good
- gerald (10/5): - our stay was short but very comfortable
- Todd (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (5/5): Room was good but a bit pricey. Extras were disappointing (breakfast and hot tub). - Rooms were clean and spacious. Hot tub closed for maintenance. Breakfast juice was horrible - very watered down.
- Dave (8/5): A good place to stay in Melville - Rooms are alway very clean and comfortable. Lots of room, a full size refrigerator and a nice kitchenette.
The breakfast is just ok. The coffee could use improvement.
The gym is nice, but the treadmill doesn’t work and some of the benches have a lot or wear and tear. Good weights and other equipment.
Staff is always really friendly and accommodating.
- Linda (6/5): - No one was at the front desk upon arrival. We waited for 10-15 minutes. When the manager came he was rude and gave the impression you were interrupting his day. Hotel was advertised as free wi-fi and when asked how to get access he wasn't very polite giving out the info. The girls that were on the morning shift were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was just OK. Most of the items were pre-packaged and stale. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. Something on the side of the tub and major water stains under the bathroom counter.
- Margaret (8/5): - Breakfast was good
- Charlotte (10/5): - Great stay!
- donavan (4/5): - Where do I start the room was very hot. So we turned it down the clothes rod was nice but no clothes hangers. The electrical out on the night lamp was so wore out the sleep apnea machine didn’t work. The breakfast I was looking forward to was a disappointment. The waffle batter was empty the cranberry juice dispenser only dispensed water. Every table had crumbs or pancake syrup on it. When we wanted to leave the elevator didn’t work. I’ve never given a negative review of a hotel before but this stay warranted one
