Guest Reviews
- graham (9/5): A nice place to stay. I will return. - I stayed here from 16 to 21 may 26. It's a nice hotel in a good location for the town centre and nightlife. There is a Morrisons Daily shop just around the corner that was very convenient.
My room was a nice size with new bedding and towels, a nice TV and was very quiet day and night.
The staff member at the hotel was always very helpful to me when I needed anything.
Thanks very much for my stay.
- Jolene (1/5): Not Recommend - The man who greeted me was lovely and polite The window in the room did not shut and they didn’t fix it on the first night as they said they would they only did it when I had to book somewhere else at 10.30pm at night. The bedding had tea stains and ink stains on it. The wall next to the kettle was covered in tea all spilt down the wall. The bathroom the shower tray, grout and tiles had mould on them.
After I booked somewhere else they then offered a one day refund but it was too late I did give them from 3pm to 10.40pm to make the changes and they didn’t.
- James & Julie (8/5): -
- Francisco (9/5): Very friendly helpful team. Very good size comfy bed. Will definitely stay again - Very good size room with comfy bed No much.
- Diamond (3/5): - How close it was the the facilities we needed Was with 4 children we was put on the top floor , room wasn't like photos shown, smelt was dirty , toilet didnt flush tv didnt work, window didnt close had to ask could they put the heating on as you could see our breath an he said for half hour only.
- Kaur (7/5): -
- Jacqueline (1/5): - Nothing mouldy bathroom unsafe beds and deffo don’t look nothing like the pictures
- jade (10/5): - Nice hotel rooms were clean
- Darron (5/5): - Where it is close to town Only one tolet roll for three days only one cup for two of us sink small and bed not comfortable and kettle didnt fit on stand
- Moorcroft (2/5): -
- Cartlidge (10/5): - Everything.
- Sandra (10/5): - Everything
- Geoff (6/5): A hotel in transition. Not the best expéience, but the new managers are trying to improve things. - The owners were helpfull. The mattress on the bed was the worst I have ever slept on, we had the worst night sleep ever. We reported it next day and they got a brand new bed an mattress. The owners have inherited a poor hotel form the previous owners and are doing their best to get it improved but this will take time. We were offered a free night for our poor experience on the first night. There was tea coffee and a kettle but no cups. The description said there was a wardrobe, which, there wasn't, there was only one bedside cabinet for two people so we lived out of our suitcase for three days.
- Ryan (10/5): No complaints, perfect for getting head down after a long day out - Value for money, location, peaceful and safe N/A
- Araujo (7/5): Family of 5 - Rooms are clean enough Little banging at night but not for long over we was happy and we would stay again
- Goode (1/5): Terrible - Nothing Im covered in skin reactions because of the property, the beds where awful the springs stuck into my back, shower wasnt even hot either it’s been a terrible experience
- lyall (10/5): - Everything was fine Everything was great
- Mtoole (10/5): - Lovely stay This was not not to understand like
- Samuel (10/5): Best value for money in Blackpool. Don’t expect anything fancy though. - Get what you pay for. Excellent value for the family room. Clean enough, shower and toilet worked, towels and soap provided. Unfortunately bar wasn’t open but it’s in a good location so no problem there.
- jai (2/5): Madness - Staff on site were great Bed was snapped almost unusable, no spoon for drinks and owner kept trying to demand cash to circumvent booking system
- Patrick (9/5): Good stay there - Good place to stay for 3/5 days not in mach great location for Blackpool
- Kelly (6/5): Cheap - For the price £25 for 3 people this was a bargain, the beds/bedding was brand new, towels were clean and fluffy… rest of the decor was tired but not offensive it’s a working progress , no foul smell as some guests described The toilet took some pumping before it would flush but no big deal,
- James (1/5): Booking.com should be also ashamed for even advertising this property - Nothing it was in a shocking state and shouldn’t be used as a hotel/guest house Everything it’s the worst place I’ve ever seen and they should be ashamed to even charge people to stay.
The photo they have used to advertise there business should be taken down.
- suneeta (8/5): It's clean and warm great location - Staff are great accommodate every need To be honest it's a budget hotel but it's clean and the beds are comfy
- Ian (7/5): Good value stay - Friendly staff great location and good value for money Uncomfortable bed mattress a bit tired and thin. Had issue with hot water during my stay but they did explain it was out of there hands and down to the engineer
- Rachel (3/5): Lumpy bed , mouldy curtains and stupid place for the to - Only thing I liked was the price nothing else The curtain had really bad mould onit , the tv was in a stupid area to wear the bed was , the bed was lumpy so hard to sleep but you get what you pay for and the painting in the room had no glass init
- Ify Rose (4/5): - The staff was lovely and communicated effectively. The room was very cold and could not get hot water in the morning for a wash until much later in the day.
- Adolfo (8/5): A good choice for my stay in Blackpool - A good choice for my stay in Blackpool. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Hot water.
- Launders_clarke96 (10/5): -
- Deano (10/5): -
- Mie (4/5): Ok for the Price - On the bright side, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the kids had an absolute blast — they said they slept great! Overall, it’s fine for a short stay if you’re not expecting luxury, but the place could really use a good clean and some maintenance. The hotel was okay for the price, but definitely had its issues. The toilet barely flushed, the beds weren’t very comfortable, and there was visible mold in the bathroom. The curtain was hanging on a bent metal rod, and the carpet was dirty and full of chewing gum.
- Kevin (7/5): - Locatiom Room.to small for two people
- Chantelle (1/5): We didn’t even stay in the end as it was poor quality room and not what was stated online - We arrived at the venue to find the family room on the top floor up 4 flights of stairs with a window that wouldn’t close we had a 8month old baby and an 8 year old with us The family room was on the very top floor with a baby and a pram and travel cot along with our cases this wasn’t ideal along with a window that would not close as it had no handle

- Adolfo (8/5): This hotel is worth a booking - I was satisfied with my stay at Bel Reve Hotel. It offers the basics at a good price: comfortable bed; hot water that comes out straight away unlike other Blackpool hotels in this market segment; TV chains, many; excellent location; family friendly; friendly and responsive staff. Self-stick rubber strip drought excluder on the door-frames can only help.
- Paul (7/5): -
- Adolfo (8/5): A very decent hotel in its segment. I would recommend. - Very comfortable bed; good hot water; friendly staff; clean; excellent location; good TV; quiet street, flexible check-in; I plan to come back one day. Some room doors close noiseless and some don't. I think that this is being assessed by the management at the moment.
- Howard (8/5): - Near to shopping centre Cold bathroom
- Sean (10/5): -
- Kiranteja (7/5): -
- Kelly (5/5): - The location was perfect The rooms were freezing , the bathroom window wouldn’t close barring in mind it’s winter so really cold, bathroom door didn’t close as he handle was broken and hanging off, door to room was not easy to open at all.
- Hilton (1/5): Bad hotel - Nothing There was no hot water, it was quiet time after 9pm, the drawes still had rubish in them, the window would not close it was all around bad plus this wasn't the hotel we was meant to stay in. Not good
- Andrew (4/5): My stay - The price and location Bed was uncomfortable. Bed was right next to the window and curtains werent long enough to block out light
- Rick (1/5): Didn’t and don’t - Nothing Dirty
Broken
Run down
Rude
Didn’t even stay
- Shaun (9/5): -
- abbie (2/5): Very poor - Location Dirty, cold. Carpets are minty. Beds are repaired beds. Not clean. Would be passable if it had a good scrub
- Lee (1/5): -
- Elaine (8/5): Great value and very comfortable. - Although I had booked the single room they put me in a double room, which was nice of them. It was small but very conveniently arranged with everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, and the room was warm in the evening. The wifi was pretty good. Overall my stay was outstanding value for money. Although the radiator was on for a decent length of time in the evening, it didn't come on in the morning. I hope they can fix that.
- Adkins (4/5): -
- Zoewarby (3/5): Definitely never again - Room was dirty rubbish left in drawers window handle broke couldn't close window properly no heating so was freezing no hot water kettle had smelly dirty water in bedding was dirty food on the walls
- Chloe (2/5): - Location Bed was uncomfortable, door was a struggle to get in, mould, stains on curtains
- Mark (10/5): Lovely I come back - Nice and warm It was dead dead quiet and then really enjoyed it
- Christine (5/5): -
- Abhishek (10/5): -
- Colin (2/5): 1 out of ten - Nothing like that in pictures Not nice
- Mike (8/5): -
- Clare (5/5): - Close by to the shore and shopping centre etc
- Jones (1/5): Very poor dirty smelling place - Nathing Nathing
- June (9/5): - The hotel i like and the staff very nice. And everything is close by. I didn't sleep very well as in the room i stayed in the matures was very uncomfortable the springs in my back i just couldn't sleep well. That was only the problem with the room i had. Normally everything is good. Just the matures. But i do like it there tho apart from that. And i would go back there
- Antony (8/5): - Clean , very comfortable stay
- Bradley (10/5): -
- kelly (8/5): - Clean and smell fresh Parking was shocking
- Sharon (1/5): Avoid - Nothing We hated everything: filthy, staff were rude, inadequate facilities, bedding not washed. Cheap hotel so wasn't expecting alot but this is a health and safety issue. Window didn't have a lock, mould everywhere and the shower was black. No parking.
- McMillan (7/5): -
- justin allen (6/5): -
- Carol-Ann (9/5): -
- Savage (7/5): -
- Antony (8/5): - Bed was comfortable, shower powerful
- Leah (1/5): - Nothing
- Kumar (7/5): -
- Barbara (10/5): -
- Atkinson (10/5): -
- Daniel (6/5): -
- Rogers (8/5): - Hotel owner was sound and very helpful and basically excellent all round Nothing
- Ayankoya (5/5): -
- Kieran (5/5): -
- Mark (10/5): Good place - Central location. Good shower. Kettle in room.
- Ian (7/5): - Manager is nice Nothing really all was good
- Ian (7/5): - Staff manager is nice Nothing really all was good
- Dubicki (3/5): Just needs a update - The bedding was clean and the room smelt clean It was very worn down and lot of broken things holes in walls broken mirrors mirror light in the bathroom not working window would not close and there beds and mattresses were horrendous we were in a family room with a single bunk bed and a bunk with a double on bottem we could all feel every spring in the mattress so much so my children didn't get much sleep at all and both the beds were very wobbley and noisy when you made the smallest move really not fit for a family
- GLEN (8/5): Matched expectations - The staff were very nice
- Ryan (1/5): Worst hotel ever - The only couple things I liked was the location and actually had hot water Well, Firstly the host was rude and started charging stupid prices for milks and sugar and he always left the main door open, That's the first part, I also didn't like how uncomfortable the beds was, Really uncomfortable, The bed sheet was dirty, Could of gave us clean bedding and the shower was probably suitable for someone who is like size 7, It's that small and the size of the room was just ridiculous, Like a box room
- Sonya (1/5): I wouldn’t recommend if you like even the basics of cleanliness - Nothing Tea making facilities but no cups, why have a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar and milk without providing cups.
Not great, considering cheaper places previously stayed in were by far superior to this stay.
- justin allen (7/5): -
- Mick (1/5): - Nothing Tv had 3 channels no hot water
- Tammy (10/5): - Good Good
- Vivender (1/5): Don't come here - Location Hello there I would like to put in a complaint for this hotel as the service wasn't good , bed bugs in the bed if you want to proof I can ask my solicitors to send the proof over to you , carpet dirty and sticky ,TV not work and the lights not working having to call him but he didnt picking up the phone so had to leave voicemails about me wanting my money back , then he sent someone to fix the light. Also the window couldn't shut due to the windows handles were broken and due to the wind and noises coming in. I had to leave a day early because I couldn't sleep in that condition. And now having to go to the doctor's to check the condition my daughter is in. As I can not believe that you have recommend this hotel fit to live in this has spoiled my whole holiday .In a resolution of this I would like to have my money back please and thank you otherwise I will have to notify my solicitors .
- Lammie (10/5): -
- Queen (10/5): Absolutely Brilliant and marvellous - great value for money also manager was really loving and kind proper lay back and always smiling its shame we left he was lovely to talk to and also view could be better only issue was toilet wasn't flushing also its was very noisy from other guest that was staying there but apart from that everything was amazing
- A (2/5): Very poor -
- Laura (1/5): Bed bugs paradise - Location was good staff friendly - until we got home and complained about bed bug bites (room 4) no apology whatsoever and threatened us to be Blacklisted from Blackpool ??? Honestly would not recommend anyone staying here, curtains kept falling down so no privacy and had bugs on them, shower flooded the room, carpets were minging, you can watch TV if you're 10ft tall to plug it in,kettle filled by shower, bed bugs just topped it.. cheap and nasty hotel
- Ian (1/5): Bad - Nothing We did not stay at all we booked another hotel because it woz to small and not very clean. We are still waiting for a REFUND.
- Elaine (7/5): Improved under new management, now great value. - I stayed at the Bel Reve last year and was not impressed, but I decided to risk it again because they were offering a very good price and, crucially, it was the only place at that price with ensuite bathrooms rather than shared. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it now has new managers who actually take the work seriously. It's a lot cleaner than it used to be. There are proper drinks supplies with mugs in the rooms. The wifi is now good. There are no dodgy-looking people hanging around. I would stay there again now if the price was right. The carpet is still in a very bad state. I don't really care about cosmetic issues but the state of the carpet on the stairs still bothers me slightly. The front door does not seem to have either a working bell or a contact phone number displayed. I had to get the number to ring from my booking confirmation.
- Ann (1/5): Bad -
- Diane (8/5): Had an enjoyable time - Close to amenities Noisy neighbours woke me up a few times but not the fault of the property
- Gordin (10/5): Exceptional - Handy and close to all amenities Location clean friendly
- Carol (8/5): Very good - The handle was broken on the door when I got there but was soon replaced, the room was clean .
