- Adam (8/5): Hotel with great views, big rooms - if you get the better rooms that is - and parking / pool! - Had a lovely big room with a view. I think a deluxe or a suite. Was beautiful - actually larger than I needed. The pool area was nice, and breakfast was good. Parking is a bit tricky but good to have. Pricey, but I guess that's Ravello for you. Loses marks because the opening hours of the pool are very limited, only opens at 9am in the morning so you can't swim before breakfast. And shuts at 7pm so you can't swim in the evening really either. Also be aware that it is about 10 minute walk up a narrow steep road to the town centre. Fine if you're fit, not if you're older / slower. They have a free shuttle to take you up there if you book it, but not to bring you back I don't think. Restaurant didn't seem to be very good (both the room and the menu) so we went into town)

- Naiara (10/5): Vista espetacular, quarto grande e confortável. - Quarto grande e confortável, uma vista espetacular, cama confortável, banheiro grande e vem limpo, localização ótima, a 15 minutos a pé do centro de Ravello, mas o hotel oferece shuttle para os hospedes, o que é excelente. Café da manhã muito bom. O hotel oferece serviço de quarto para o jantar, com comidas muito gostosas, vale a pena. Todos os funcionários muito educados, prestativos e atenciosos. Travesseiro poderia ser melhor (para o meu gosto)

- Mamta (4/5): Don't book the suite with the sea view - We had booked what was described as a “suite with sea view.” In reality, the accommodation was a small bedroom with no windows, attached to a compact living area that offered only a partial view of the ocean. The bathroom was in poor condition, with visible dampness seeping through the walls, which made the overall experience quite disappointing. When we raised this with the manager and requested a change of room, we were told that the “fine print” clarifies it as a room with a partial sea view. This response was unhelpful and misleading - if that is the case, the listing should clearly state “partial sea view” rather than “suite with sea view.” Overall, the description does not accurately reflect the actual accommodation, and expectations were not met.

- William (4/5): Over priced - Listing should disclose the Pool is Not Heated - The female staff and the Day porter Roberto were Excellent. They always greeted me with a smile and made every effort to exceed expectations 1) Pool is not heated and THIS was the main reason I booked this hotel 2) ANTS in my room -- bathroom and bedding 3) Dining experience was depressing -- the menu never changed with too many (4) types of lasagne on the menu. Dining room decor is very cheap and service was slow. No music like other hotels. 4) There was an issue that occurred when the desk clerk would not open the Entry gate while my daughter was standing in the street -- (he) demanded through an intercom to know her Room number -- and she is only nine years old. The same clerk did not apologize and ignored my request to speak to the Manager. 6) No Night Porter for those 6AM flights
- Merce (9/5): Viaje a la Costa Amalfitana. - Nuestra habitación confort con vistas a mar, era espaciosa con un gran baño y bañera de hidromasaje. las vistas espectaculares. aunque no esta en el centro de Ravello, disponen de un servicio que te aproxima a la ciudad y que te recoge en el caso de necesitarlo, que funciona durante todo el dia y finaliza a las 9.00 hs de la noche. El hotel se encuentra cerca del nuevo auditorio de Ravello, a unos 10 15 minutos andando al centro de Ravello Desayuno correcto y completo. Camas king size super cómodas y buenísima la calidad de la ropa de cama y almohadas. encontramos que la recepción y el salon de comedor, aunque correctos no están al nivel del establecimiento. Por lo demás todo bien.
- Joel (10/5): Great value, incredible views, 8 minutes to Ravello - The service, room layout, views, and extra help from Roberto and Pasquale. The staff was very helpful during booking, working with us to select the right rooms for our party, ones with great views and patios. Also, the morning dining experience was exceptional - great food and service. A parking spot was a huge plus. The rooms we stayed in were nicely appointed and spacious, with spectacular patios. It is a very short walk (8 minutes) up the road to the entrance of Ravello, giving you a access to great restaurants, Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufallo, and a number of ceramic shops. Casual hikers would love the trek down to Altrani and Amalfi - about an hour and some of the best views and coastal sights you'll experience. Bathtubs are a little hard to get in and out of. Here is some advice for those new to the area - bus service is a little challenging to get tickets for and taxis to/from Amalfi can reach €150 each way - do your research on making Ravello your jump-off point and be prepared for your journeys.

- Michael (10/5): - The views were amazing. Also the large amount of Orange blossoms/flowers blooming during our stay made every breath an experience itself. Felt like staying in paradise. All around really great place, the location is a little beneath Ravello center, so walking up/down can be tough. The free breakfast is also pretty basic. They do offer a free shuttle near the town square.

The room was dirty and full of bugs, with mold on the walls and in the shower. The “view” of a terrace was actually a fake tarp of grass that looked awful. When we tried to resolve the issue, the hotel refused to take responsibility or offer a refund. Their customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. We left feeling extremely disappointed. I hope no one else has to go through this — please double-check reviews before booking here.
- ellensN8014YE (10/5): Beautiful Ravello stay - A nicely located small hotel on the cliffs of Ravello with beautiful views of the coast. They have excellent customer service and you can walk everywhere in Ravello from there. There is a breathtaking small terrace from where you can dine for breakfast or have a snack later in the day. Our room was spacious, airy and had a large deck to view the villages and sea.

The gate entrance is not clear even we asked before heading to the hotel, the address is personal private parking garage, we asked several locals, finally find the gate. It's very difficult to drive on the single track with two way traffic. The shuttle bus is not as expected, the front desk is not checking the reservation list for shuttle bus, and told us to show up at 9 o'clock, then they find someone else that was already had reservation, then looking for shuttle bus driver for at least 20 minutes. We asked for our 2 room nearby, but we have to take elevator to go to each other's room. The elevator floor button is not match to the room number, very confusing.
- Christine (10/5): Hotel in Aussichtslage mit fantastischem Blick aufs Meer - Tolle Ausblicke, schöne Anlage unweit vom Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium, geräumiges Zimmer, Frühstück okay, Parkplatz sehr gut. Shuttleservice ins historische Zentrum gut, sehr nette Fahrer. Zentrum auch fussläufig erreichbar in ca 15 Minuten, je nach Fitness. Gute Pizzeria Giuliana nur 200m unterhalb - eine Pizza to go war an unserem Ankunftstag die Rettung, da andere Restaurants ausgebucht waren. Rezeptionsherren waren leider wenig unterstützend. Uns war nicht bewusst, dass die Zimmer sich auf mehrere Gebäude verteilen. Lässt sich bewältigen, aber zur Info.

- Dennis (10/5): Great place to stay, - We had a fantastic view from our room at the Villa Piedmonte overlooking the mountains, ocean and the town of Minori. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the town square of Ravello, they also offered a complimentary private car service to and from the town square entrance which was big bonus, they provide an excellent breakfast featuring a wide variety of hot foods, fresh fruit, Italian meats, cheeses, juices, bread and pastries. The staff was fantastic, they are very attentive to their guests, I would highly recommend the Villa Piedimonte if you are planning to stay in Ravello. Liked everything about our stay.

- smilemkr2017 (10/5): Exceptional service and property - The Villa Piedimonte was the ideal hotel for touring the Amalfi coast. Our Junior Suite was spacious, well appointed, and clean as a pin. There are admittedly few places for clothes in drawers, but plenty of closet space, a safe, a large bathroom complete with towel warmer and a fabulous shower and Jacuzzi. The outside veranda provides a peaceful place to relax and the view is simply spectacular. The morning breakfasts were wonderful with a wide selection including scrambled and soft boiled eggs, Italian “bacon” and sausages. Fantastic fresh fruit and fruit juices along with wonderful pastries, yougurt and a variety of breads. Above all the service is top notch. They provide local car service and can arrange ar service to areas such as Amalfi where ferry boats can take you anywhere in the coastal area. We highly recommend the Villa Piedimonte. The staff were all SO personable and accommodating. Five star service at a four star hotel!!

Un petit effort de decoration pourrait rendre la suite tres jolies et en plus ligne avec le prix elevé. La salle de restaurant n a aucun charme . Le personnel est charmant et attentionné la decoration des suites . La baignoire de la salle de bains qui est dangereuse pour y prendre une douche , ma femme a d'ailleurs glissee .

- Cherimcg (10/5): Views and beautiful room - Great view! Our room was very spacious with a living room couch that is long enough to relax on. The bed was very firm (if you like that) and the patio and yard was nice and private. Only comment would be they need to supply water since they supply tea and instant coffee. The shuttle was nice when we used it. The pool was very nice and had amazing views as well. Cocktails were served with salty snacks for a nice little extra. Great breakfast too.

The drive up to Ravello was definitely interesting, the roads were narrow and winding. If you have motion sickness, you may want to reconsider staying here.

- Philip (8/5): Fantastische Aussicht, geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon, angenehmer Pool - Das Personal war durchaus sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Den gratis Shuttle-Dienst in die Stadt haben wir besonders geschätzt. Am letzten Abend gab es einen Prosecco ins Zimmer geliefert, den wir auf dem Balkon mit der wunderschönen Aussicht geniessen konnten (schöne Aufmerksamkeit!). Der regelmässige Lärm der Klimaanlage im Garten (2 grosse Ventilatoren) war manchmal störend, wenn wir den Balkon unseres Zimmers 603 in Ruhe geniessen wollten. Im Badezimmer stand ein etwas zu kleines Waschbecken mit einem nicht bewegbarem Wasserhahn. Dieser war sehr unpraktisch: Um sich das Gesicht zu waschen musste das Wasser umständlich mit den Händen um diesen Wasserhahn bewegt werden und alles ringsherum wurde nass. Beim Verlassen des Hotelbereichs konnte die Gittertüre leider nicht alleine geöffnet werden, da die Vorrichtung defekt war.
- Sophie (10/5): Amazing! It made our honeymoon even more special - Villa Piedimonte was incredible. We were staying here as part of our honeymoon and we were upgraded when we arrived (which has never happened to us before) and then as soon as we arrived to the room, we were greeted with a glass of champagne. The staff were so friendly and informative and the rooms were amazing. The pool and facilities were clean and it made our trip to Ravello even more special.

Property provided shuttle service into the centre of town and staff was very professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet provided a nice selection and the wait staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate special requests! Requested a room with two beds and was given an "upgrade" which turned out to be a bed and a pullout couch for the second bed. This made the living room area completely unusable and the pullout was not comfortable at all for someone with a bad back.

- lisasR595TU (10/5): Beautiful location with stunning views. - Just back from 10 lovely days in Ravello, staying in a gorgeous superior room (305) with the most amazing panoramic views of the Amalfi coastline. I would highly recommend the hotel which has a great location to get to Ravello itself plus getting to Amalfi, Minori and Maiori. The staff were so friendly and helpful and breakfast had an excellent selection for all tastes. The pool was clean and spacious and there were never any problems getting a sun bed with towels provided. There is a shuttle service available every 30 minutes to the top where the bus stops are but the walk if you are able is not too taxing if you want to take a gentle stroll looking at the views as you go. The shortcut stairs in my opinion are a harder task. If we travel to Ravello again, I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

Parking gratuit. Chambre prévue non disponible. Première nuit dans une pseudo suite indigne d'un hotel de standing avec vue directe sur les unités extérieures du système de climatisation et le bruit omniprésent. Changement de chambre demandé et obtenu pour la suite du séjour.

I wanted to leave the first night I stayed there. My personal towel was taken by the housekeeper! I never been to a hotel where the housekeeper touches your personal items.

- Simona (10/5): - Il mio soggiorno sulla costiera Amalfitana è stato meraviglioso. La posizione è unica, capace di regalare panorami spettacolari a qualsiasi ora del giorno. La struttura è ben curata, come la piscina, come la Junior suite stupenda e lo staff gentilissimo. Solo un piccolo appunto :c è una parte di veduta della struttura dove c era una piscina che avrebbe bisogno di manutenzione, perché al momento rovina la bellezza circostante. Vi consiglio questo soggiorno, relax e bellezza.

- James (8/5): Would stay here again! - Great views from the room and the pool area. The breakfast had a good variety of tasty options like scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, assorted pastries, fresh squeezed juices, yogurt, etc. It's a bit of a walk to the town square (we counted 182 stairs), but it's good exercise and there's a free shuttle from the hotel any time you like. Most of the restaurants and shops are just off the square. There's really nothing right near the hotel.
