- Monica (8/5): Clean and Basic - My husband and I stayed one night while visiting Black Rocks. It's a basic hotel, nothing fancy. It was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. The AC was ice cold! One of the bathroom lights didn't work, not a big deal. Overall, if you are looking for a clean and basic room to sleep in, this will do!
- RoadGuys2 (6/5): Just OK for overnight - Booked on a Wednesday night cuz most everything else in town was full or they were price gouging. We found this place a bit difficult to get to because of odd traffic patterns. There are no restaurants within an easy walk - plenty of them several blocks away across Hiway 41 if you dare. The room was clean and well furnished and had the standard amenities. Although a budget hotel, the value just wasn't great. Breakfast was poor, we didn't even try it and we're not particular. Just an OK place to crash for the night, get a shower and move on.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Poor Service and unclean room - Only booked a room here because of the price and the amenities stating there would be a mini-fridge. The room did not have a mini-fridge and the guy at the counter wasn't willing to give us a different room. My husband has medications that must be refrigerated and using a communal fridge is not something I'm willing to chance. Called the travel agency and they attempted to contact the front desk and had 3 unanswered calls. So we had no choice but to stay and I emptied their ice maker to fill our cooler up for his medications. While getting ready for bed I went to grab a coffee cup to fill with water and found two half smoke weed blunts. I called the front desk at Quality Inn per the note on the Value Host front desk and the girl working came right over and moved us to the room right next door to ours and that room smelled very clean and had a mini-fridge in it. I took photos of the blunts however I'm not currently able to upload them right now.
- Donita (10/5): - Fantastic room. Comfortable bed. The morning staff seemed a little overworked. Continental breakfast was adequate but there is room for some improvement. But, we would definitely stay there again if in the area.

- Donald (8/5): - staff was very courteous and helpful However the door jam and bottom door was higher than entrance and we kept getting our feet not caught maybe if you can fix the door jam on the floor to the door it would be more even and prevent someone tripping over it Otherwise the room was very clean and staff was very helpful
- Christopher (6/5): Relatively Comfortable - It was relatively comfortable but I was disappointed that I did not get any large towels in the room. The breakfast was just ok as well. It was ok for a night but a comfortable stay just for a night.
- C (6/5): If it is your only choice... - Stayed for the weekend. The rooms are not sound proof. You could hear the shower and toilet flush above. There is an attempt to "freshen" up the rooms with new carpeting and new mattress. Bed was alright. When you moved, the aluminum boxes the matress is on would constsntly make noise. AC filter was caked full of dust and debris. I cleaned it for them, but the whole unit needs to be cleaned with an air compressor and vacuum. Breakfast is bagels, granola bars and coffee/juice.

- Tina (8/5): - Check in was fast - gentleman was kind and gave us the choice of ground floor or 2nd floor. Convenient location on our route and a pleasure to stop after 8 hours on the road.
- Carl (10/5): - Comparing this property to others, both in the same and higher price categories I'd have to say it is pretty good for what you pay, or what you'd have to pay to get better. Having said that I'll note the mattress was way too soft, and had a big depression in the middle, into which both my wife and I were continually sinking. Maintenance, such as there was, was shoddy. As in silicone will fix or solve anything. No fridge/freezer in the room, but they graciously let us overnight the cheese and sausage we were transporting in the hotel freezer.

- Mark (4/5): Junk trash chair and shot mattress! - On entering the room, there was an odd sweet smell. A/C cleared that up. But then we were introduced to the most horrible Naugahyde chair in the world (see pic) Half the Naugahyde was gone and the cushioning was totally shot. A junk yard would be embarrassed to accept it. Later, we also discovered the bed mattress was totally shot. Kept being rolled into center of bed and back ache the next morning. Do not recommend!

- Linda L (6/5): Beware if you are disabled. - I was really looking forward to my stay there but was so disappointed when I checked in. I am a disabled Vet & unable to walk or carry things up stairs. Based on that info, the clerk told me, “Never come back here again.” I was shocked & made sure that was what he said. I always check for elevator availablity before booking. I believe my request for the first floor was overlooked because I made 2 partial reservations. Other issues: no carts & no fridge though it was in my reservations. Very disappointed! Luckily I enjoyed the area but I will not return. 6 night stay.

- Sandy (8/5): - We had a nice, queit stay. We were there for a doctor procedure so having a nice quiet stay was needed. They let us have a late checkout which was very welcomed and needed. The beds were comfortavle and enough pillows which was also nice. We liked having a refrigerator in the room. The only thing we did not care for was the TV was very, very small. Maybe was a 22 inch tv or a little bigger. Was wayyyy too small. Would have liked a larger tv for sure. We spent some time in the room and did watch tv and we found it hard to even see it. Other than that the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful and it was very close to the hospital. Would most likely stay again but would like to see them.uograde the tvs.

Grocery store with Caribou coffee across the street and then it’s a quick run to all the great stuff to do at the waterfront. This is a great option and I will be back.

After the fact realized they are pet-friendly, so this is now firmly on our radar for future stays in Marquette, as we often bring our dog.

We realized mattress was a tad unstable and moved to chairs...lol. Bed was comfortable however and we slept well. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (hair, soap scum etc) otherwise room was clean and smelled good. Comfortable stay.
