- Stephanie (10/5): - This is a beautiful property. The staff, particularly Mike and Linda, could not have been more warm or welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- Darrell (10/5): - The entire stay was magnificent!! Mr. Mike was the best!! Can’t wait to come back with other family members. Thank you Brandon Hall
- Peter (10/5): - Best stay in an ante bellum plantation mansion you could possibly get.
- Stefan (10/5): - Amazing stay in the deep south with a fantastic host.
- andrew (10/5): - Excellent stay
- Brent (10/5): - A beautiful property situated only a short drive out of Natchez. Gloria was a wonderful host and prepared a beautiful breakfast.
Michael gave a very informative tour of Brandon Hall following breakfast.
Thank you for a memorable stay.
A very special place indeed.
- Kathy R (10/5): beauty and relaxing atmosphere - It is a beautiful and serene place to stay. Looking for a moment to relax and still be close to Natchez — consider this a must place to stop
- CHARLOTTE (10/5): - Everyone was so hospitable. Mike was very helpful and a great guide. My party had to leave early and the staff insisted that breakfast would be served early for us. I hope to go back with family.
- Catherine (10/5): - It was so wonderful!! Can’t wait to go back ❤️
- Jignesh (10/5): Fabulous experience of staying on a plantation - Fantastic experience staying in a live museum with great story and walking tour of the whole plantation house.
- Nigel (10/5): - Brandon Hall is absolutely stunning; the home, the grounds, the accommodations. It was a wonderful place to stay and we were welcomed with such hospitality. We also received a tour and history of the property. I highly recommend it.
- Hervine (10/5): - Brandon Hall is a gem! If you want to travel in the past, Brandon Hall is your place! I definitely recommend to stay there and ask the owner to give you a tour, she's passionate and knows a lot about the place and the Brandon family.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Exceptional property except for the shower head which had a slow drip ( very annoying) but I closed the door. Room was very nice .
- Leah (10/5): - My husband and I were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary, and I love all things historic. Especially things which involve Mississippi history. The home was beautiful, the town was amazing, I only wish we had more time to stay. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of history with us ❤️
- Carol (6/5): - I found it odd and uncomfortable not being greeted by someone. This B&B was self check in and I felt very impersonal. I also missed having a formal breakfast where you can meet others and share a meal.
- curtis (10/5): - Superb!!
- Marion (8/5): - Home was beautiful. Property was also beautiful. Rooms were very cold. No hot water in bathroom sink. No breakfast served. No ice available.
- Ivica (10/5): - Staff was very friendly!
- Jim (8/5): - Rocking chairs on second floor—- heavenly.
I missed the breakfast part. Be glad when COVID is past will visit again
- stacy (10/5): Great! - Great stay!
- Stephanie (10/5): - The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. The house was so fascinating and being able to have coffee on the upstairs balcony was amazing! The whole place was so picturesque and very secluded and a great place to spend a romantic Anniversary!
- Allison (10/5): - Property was absolutely beautiful. It was convenient check in, but would log been nice to hear about some of the history with a tour or have someone to ask questions.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely and charming place! It was a great place to relax and stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful plantation home. Our room was beyond what we were expecting. Very clean. Comfy. Spacious. The Host and his dog was fun to talk to. The hominess that was created in a historical home was great. We would come back and stay longer.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The innkeepers here adhere to a policy of no-contact. There is no personal contact at checkin or out, and only a telephone number is provided in case of problems. When I dialed that number, "the mailbox is full." Thus, I could not get the temperature of the room, which was unbearably low, adjusted. Nor could any other problem, e.g., a lack of cups at the coffee machine, be corrected.
The environment is beautiful, the accommodations clean and physically comfortable--but the stay gave no pleasure because of the cold.
The "continental breakfast" supplied was very skimpy: one small tangerine, a small apple, a banana, and a wrapped muffin. No cups, so no coffee.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great property. Historic old plantation home! Great grounds for walking, beautiful pond, and great old trees! Breakfast was very disappointing, but somewhat understandable, in the time of COVID-19!
- Leonard (10/5): Nice place - If you have trouble walking on uneven places or a problem with stairs - don’t stay here. It’s a beautiful, well restored plantation that we enjoyed. There’s a walking path around the little pond in front that was pleasant and relaxing. There were dogs running loose (I assume the owners dogs) and barking which disrupts the peace and tranquillity of the place. Breakfast left a lot to be desired (1 each: muffin, apple, orange, bottle of water). There are no coffe makers but one downstairs.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place - Excellent stay. Beautiful property
- Thomas (10/5): Secluded and beautiful! - Wonderful home and beautiful grounds! It is close (10 minute drive) to Natchez, but has the secluded feel of a country estate. We loved everything about our stay. Great for a romantic getaway!
- Steve (10/5): 5 Stars for Brandon Hall Plantation! - We highly recommend the accommodations of Brandon Hall Plantation from check-in to check-out. You will not be disappointed at any aspect of your stay nor with the professional, friendly and courteous staff. You are made to feel special!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent
- Paul (10/5): Living history - Owner and staff friendly and knowledgable. Room spacious, clean and very comfortable. Extensive grounds to walk in. Tea and coffee available 24 hrs. Breakfast excellent. You do need to bring or go out for other meals. We had one night which was not enough to really get the most from this marvellous house and grounds. A good location to explore Natchez ( about 10 minute drive) and surrounding area.
- Dean (10/5): - Spacious room, great breakfast, nice staff, beautiful historic home and grounds. Not an ordinary hotel/ b&b experience.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very condescending owner/host takes a lot away from what would have otherwise been a pleasant stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We travelled from Nashville to New Orleans stopping off at various places including Memphis, some of the journey being on the the Natchez Trace. Brandon Hall was an absolute highlight and a joy to experience. The house is lovingly restored and kept beautifully. The gardens are beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect hospitality, a wonderful room, great healthy breakfast and a very informative tour. We felt we had stepped back in time. The town of Natchez is also a great place to visit, very pretty with tons of history, and we took recommendations from the owner at Brandon and were not disappointed. All in all a fantastic stop off point on our road trip and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Kaiser, the owner, was very knowledgeable about his nearly 200 year old house and property. Very interesting guided tour. Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a very enjoyable, unique experience.
- Gordon (10/5): Will Be Back!!! - Beautiful home and grounds. Great hosts. Delicious breakfast.
- Stephanie (10/5): Fantastic anniversary getaway destination - Stayed in the Louise room for our 15th wedding anniversary. Fantastic location, wonderful owners and one of the most beautiful plantations in Natchez. Must stay for a romantic getaway!
- Dagney (8/5): - Staying in an antebellum home was the perfect fit for a stay in Natchez.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful property. Immaculately clean with serene surroundings. Would definitely recommend.
- Theresa (10/5): Absolutely amazing - Everything was “over the top” amazing!! Imagine getting to spend a couple of nights in a true antebellum home and dine in luxury for breakfast. Plus the owner gives a guided tour of the home after breakfast (other homes in town offer tours and charge $18 whereas Kaiser does it for his guests). Our stay was fabulous and it simply doesn’t get any better!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is beautiful inside and outside. A great experience. Highly recommend
- CurnockCook (10/5): - A beautiful house, a beautiful home & a real oasis.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A true antebellum plantation home is a rare find. The first floor was refurbished nicely and the rooms had modern features but appeared to be period correct.
- Jan (4/5): - The Plantation was nice and the gardens lovely but the mattress was horrible. It has apparently been that way for a long time. I doubt if we were the first to complain. Very disappointing that the mattress wasn't replaced years ago.
- Jerry (10/5): Spring Pilgrimage 2019 - This B & B was very clean and comfortable. The owner was helpful and all our needs were met. We would recommend without reservation!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the plantation architecture. Beautifully restored. Owners live on site and are accessible. Close to Natchez (10 min. drive). A little difficult to find as our GPS sent us on the wrong road, but we were warned about that beforehand. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and extended our visit by 1 night.
- adam (10/5): Enjoy Natchez - Great b&b experience for us first timers.
- Michael (10/5): Stay in a real plantation house - Well kept pre Civil War plantation house. Great base to explore the Natchez area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Preserved slice of history. Owner was very attentive. Beautiful grounds.
- Anthony (10/5): Calm and peaceful - We found the b&b without difficulty as we approached it from the north on the Natchez Pike Parkway, though other guests had found it more difficult approaching from Natchez town. Kaiser explained that he is not allowed to put more obvious signs due to regulations of the National Park. I wish we’d taken a bottle of white wine to enjoy on the balcony in the evening, as others had done (red wine is not allowed in the house). It was a perfect, balmy evening and the rocking chairs and crickets chirping made it idyllic. There were also comfortable communal areas inside the house.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We really liked the privacy of the property and the setting. We also enjoyed the personal tour of the property and all of the history.
- Chester (10/5): - Beautifully restored antebellum mansion with period furnishings. Breakfast was amazing and served in elegant dining hall. Host were helpful and stay includes an interesting tour of the mansion. Very quiet location outside of town just takes you back in time. Will be returning for a longer stay!
- Dean (10/5): - Off the beaten path...quiet. Staff helpful with event planning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Off the beaten path. Quiet. Serene. Staff recommendations were perfect for what we wanted to do.
- Ray (10/5): Lovely Antebellum House - Lovely antebellum house in beautifully maintained grounds. The house has furniture from the period but has also been modernised to ensure your comfort. Loved the shared breakfast table where we met people from around the world. Enjoyed the tour of the house given by our host. It is 16 miles outside of Natchez, so had to drive into town for dinner. Host recommended excellent venues for this.
- Iain (10/5): Exquisite - Can not praise enough
Perfect
