Can't wait to return. - Two of the family members (myself being one of them) had been at your place approximately three years ago. Myself and a few family members, wanted to find a nice place up north and we suggested your place since we had such a great time the first time we visited. The cabin was perfect right by the water, roomy, beautiful scenery and a great host! Thank you for a wonderful couple of days. We will be back next year! There wasn't anything we didn't like.

• Cindy (8/5): Great value for a simple getaway in the Adirondacks, no frills, but everything you need to enjoy the outdoors. - Loved that it’s super dog friendly! Location was central to get to both Lake George and Saratoga and go on hikes and restaurants. We loved the free access to the kayaks and paddle boats. And we like the cabin’s enclosed porch area (it rained once), the fire pit and the grill. We were not a fan of the beach that is on premises mostly because of the water in that area. But you can kayak/ paddle across the river and access a nice little beach area that we liked.

Beach was not very inviting for swimming. Our cottage could use some TLC, especially the bathroom, kitchen, and porch, and it was a bit overpriced .

• Robin (9/5): Superb - It was a cottage with a lot of outdoor spaces. We had fires outside, ate meals outside and played shuffle board and corn hole. There was also much to do at the lake/river Kitchen and bathroom tiny,but functional. Squirrels kept breaking in to our porch.

• Sindy (8/5): Overall, because of the location and quietness of the property, I would stay again. It wasn’t overcrowded. It was nice t - The cottages were right by the lake, had a beautiful view. Very good distance to Lake George. The owner is very pleasant and welcoming. Loved that each cottage has their own fire pit, bbq, picnic table and were good distance from each other. The cottages were very dated. Full of spiderwebs and dust everywhere. The screens to porch area needs to be changed. For the price they charge, they should try to remodel. The bathroom was falling apart, shower curtain was moldy. The bedding should be updated to more decent bedding. I brought my own sheets and towels. The outdoor equipment was very old, something didn’t work. The cleaning ladies were rude, check out is up to noon, and they kept passing by and parked gold cart outside the cottages staring at us, very rudely and didn’t even say good morning. Felt very rushed.

• Josolynn (9/5): Superb - We loved our location and the views were amazing! I absolutely love the fact that they are so dog friendly! Our Austin just loves to swim, and we were so grateful he was able to do so on premises!! The only downfal was the electric in our cabin. The braker blew every time we turned on our fireplace. If we wanted to use the electric fireplace, we needed to unplug and not use any other form of electric in the cabin.

When I addressed a few issues the owner was very accommodating and helped out ASAP. We also left our tablet and they found it and sent it back. I would say the cottages are more on the rustic side.

Room was spotless on arrival - remotes for TV and cable in ziplock bags to help ensure they stayed sanitized (never even touched the bags). For the bonus, no-touch flushing toilet. The shower surround could use a little work, but it there didn't seem to be even any (immediate) risk of 'real' issues.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - We only stayed one night but will be back next year for a longer stay! There were several kayaks, canoes, boats and paddle boats with everything needed to go out and enjoy the water. There was a private beach, which was nice and sandy. The cabin we stayed at was nice and has had some recent work done. I think it could have probably used a deep clean because there was some mold starting in one of the air conditioners and dust on the box fan upstairs but, hey, it’s a cabin.. not a luxury suit at a hotel. It was super nice to have a small convenient store on the other side of the fence through the “short cut” that we could run to and grab snacks and various things. It’s like two different “worlds” with the fence separating everything. There is the serene lake where it’s peaceful and quiet and on the other side it was a small town with some stores and light traffic. We didn’t use the fire ring but I saw several people going that and It looked like fun and there were nice chairs all ready for a night around the fire. There were also restaurants in walking distance. There is no cell service but the WiFi was pretty good and we had no trouble. We ate at Rocco’s pizza which I would recommend but I would have it delivered because there was no ac in the building. Hadley’s general store was a two minute drive and totally worth checking out and eating at. Breakfast there was amazing and I’m sure lunch and dinner are too! We will absolutely be back!
