La personne en charge m’a dit qu’il n’y avait rien à faire car ça va être réparé plus tard après mon départ, les lits ne sont pas confortables, vieux matelas en ressort qui fait du bruit. Sincèrement, je ne reviendrai pas à cet hôtel et je ne le recommande pas.

• Elizabeth (9/5): Overall we had a wonderful experience. - We had an ocean view room, and opened the door to the ocean. The Adirondack chairs on the deck outside the door were perfect. There is a matted pathway to the beach, which makes it easy to get some of the sand off your feet. The only thing we didn't care for was waking up to the smell of marijuana seeping into the room. That's not something the motel can really do anything about. It's everywhere these days.

Like most of the accommodations on the beach the motel is older. The unit we stayed in had recently been remodeled however. The furniture in the room was a bit sparse and the couch really needs to go (stains). Great location but perhaps we'll look for something else next time.

• chad (4/5): You are paying for the direct access to the beach. - I loved the location, how close it was to the access path of the ocean. The bed was soft, which was nice. Parking was easy as well. The fridge was more of a dorm style fridge which was nice, as it could hold more food. The blinds they had in the big window in the hotel did not block out the light very well, so at night with all the lights on the exterior of the building made it very bright in the room. The pillows were beyond hard. Never felt a hard pillow such as this. The walls were painted paneling, which would not have been bad but the room was painted off white and they went and painted touch up work in a different color. Super old shower doors, sort of gross.

• Cynthia (8/5): Overall, we did like the place because of it being right on the beach, near the pier, and staff. - They were able to put us in a two rooms next to each other. Rooms were clean and I like the housekeeping system they have of dropping off towels and bags, and they pick it all up outside the room Location was great right on the beach, and the walk to town was great. The pool was so comfy warm but it could use a scrub. It was clean and clear, but looked like sunscreen and junk has built up it. It happens in stone pools like that. All the staff were super nice and friendly. The beds are so soft you sink in, however I slept quite well so..weird. The kitchenettes were nicely supplied with stuff, but someone definitely burnt something in one of the rooms prior to us arriving and it had an odor. No fault of the Motel of course, but those Fabreeze plug ins were too much. I removed mine. Room25 had a very slanted floor, and I'm in the flooring business so that was annoying to me. Needs a bit of renovation in there to the subfloor. The pricing was a bit steep for a motel that could use a bit of updating. I stayed 10 days in a brand new Hilton Hotel beach front at Ocean City Maryland for less in July than I paid for two rooms for 4 days here.

• Annette (6/5): Tolle Strandlage aber laut - Die Lage des Motels ist toll. Direkt am Strand (man kann morgens mit nem Kaffee am Strand stehen) und drumherum fußläufig alles gut zu erreichen. Der Service war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Bett war total durchgelegen und nachts fuhr ständig ein Güterzug gefühlt mitten durchs Zimmer. Ich habe richtig mies geschlafen. Für den Zugverkehr kann das Motel nichts, aber für den Preis wäre dann ein komfortables Bett wenigstens schön.

• Mike (5/5): Beautiful view in a quiet town at a motel with some disappointing features. - The location was good and the view from our room was gorgeous. We always love to have such a beautiful view of the ocean and our view exceeded our expectation. For the cost of one night, there were three things that were very disappointing. First, I can't remember the last time a motel/hotel did not have a hair dryer in the room. I had not packed one based on that fact and had to go to bed with a wet head. Next my husband who loves coffee was disapointed that there was not a coffeemaker in the room especially on cool mornings. Thankfully the office had a coffee maker, but that did require leaving the room to go get it. The most disappointing thing was the bed sheets. They appeared to be made of jersey material which was picked making them feel dirty. They were also stained. Having spent over $200 on this room, we really expected these things to be non-issues.

• Bob Clement (4/5): I would not recommend this hotel unless renovations occur. - Good location next to the beach, and the pool was nice. The floor was dirty and our feet were black if walking around in bare feet. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and sloped towards the floor. They need to be replaced. The price was not worth what we paid for. The only thing they have going for them is the location next to the beach. When you leave the room, if not careful there is a big drop which could cause a fall. The room definitely needs some renovations.

• Ella (4/5): I paid almost $400 for one night in this hotel for my anniversary. The only thing that was good about it was the bed and - I liked that it was on the beach. The bed was comfortable. The hotel room itself, looked like an elementary school kid did repairs to it. There were no decorations to speak of the fan only worked with a light on the air conditioner, wouldn’t stay on. There was no coffee maker in the room or hairdryer that it listed.

• Leslie (3/5): Loved the beach and location of Motel, but was not happy with the motel rooms. - Liked that it was beachfront/waterfront. Close to pier and amusement park. Liked the outside of building, the balcony, chairs… Did not like the rooms. Also not what I booked. The first room was very worn, stains on couch, paint chipped walls, dusty blinds, the people Nextdoor were extremely loud, could hear through walls. They did accommodate a room change, due to noise, which I was happy about. The room was a bit less worn, cleaner, and not as beat up but we would not stay there again. Too expensive for what it was. Also was expecting a kitchenette, but just a microwave on top of mini fridge. The pool was very tiny and dingy looking.

Right on the beach, a couple blocks from the strip and walking distance to all the shops and the pier. Our room was HUGE! Which was amazing!! The room could have been cleaner, and some ceiling tiles were in need of repair. Air fresheners were provided, likely to help with odors from nearby rooms.

The beds were not comfortable by a long shot, the kitchenette was two burners from the seventies, no ventilation at all. Utensils look like they came from a cheap yard sale. Coffee machine but no coffee No ice machine but you could buy a $7.00 bag from his brother at the beach shop out front. Would not come back here for free. To top it off after checking out they did not have a restroom available, my girlfriend had to walk to a public bathroom That is how bad I t was!

• Sheryle (5/5): We were disappointed in the accommodations and won't go back. - The location was great because it's right on the beach. Plus, it was close to downtown, so we walked everywhere. The motel is old and outdated. The walls in the bathroom were peeling. The sheets on the bed were old; they were no longer soft and smooth. There was no coffee maker. Even the cheapest motel has a coffee maker!! There was no hair dryer. Again, almost every motel has one. It's a good thing I brought mine. The cable TV was very spotty. It kept going out. For some reason, the A/C never came on at night, so the room was a bit stuffy to sleep in. There was a ceiling fan, but you could only use it if you wanted the light on as well. You can't turn the light off and just use the ceiling fan. It needs to be updated.
