In più davanti c'è un supermercato e lì vicino un ampio parcheggio. Ci torneremmo molto volentieri. Unico punto negativo le scale non sono molto pratiche per salire e scendere con le valigie.

It was quite comfortable, had a nice set up of tea in the room, and has a bar and restaurant downstairs with some great fare! The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the wifi worked great! No complaints

- Ruth (8/5): -
- Heather (4/5): Food staff and hospitality were lovely very uncomfortable beds - Very cosy good food The beds so uncomfortable left early in morning as did not sleep
- W (2/5): Awful room, awful sleep, great breakfast. Ridiculously overpriced. - Great breakfast and lovely lady who served the breakfast. Tiny room, awful camp beds, poor mismatched decor, old furniture, and worst of all the noise from the band downstairs made it feel like we were sitting on the drums, the walls were actually shaking. We were not warned about this and staff were quite rude and dismissive when we asked about it. It was basically we have your money now, what are you gonna do.
- Tessa (8/5): -
- David (8/5): Great for a night stay - Perfect location for walking the RRW.
The room was good with tea and coffee. The Venison Lasagne was fabulous. We couldn’t get the key code to work on the external door but they let us in.
- Jane (10/5): First class - Very comfortable ideal for our visit with family and the staff were very friendly and helpful
- Kevin (6/5): Convenient location, friendly staff. - Great location, lovely pub, welcoming staff. Dated room and the bathroom badly needs an upgrade for the price charged.
- Steven (9/5): West Highland Way Heaven - The major item to point out is the size of the room. At the very top, we had a suite consisting of two separate rooms with a double bed and two singles. This meant a huge amount of space to spread out after walking the West Highland Way. The welcome from the staff was excellent and we felt right at home. Food was very good, simple food but well cooked and presented. We added a couple of drinks for a full evening. The whole hotel was well presented and appointed and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again. It was an expensive stay so be prepared, but it was worth it compared to other hotels offering less.
- Mari (5/5): Not recommended for WHW walkers - Good location for walking the West Highland Way They had a karaoke on the night we were staying, we weren’t made aware prior to the booking. Would be good for an overnight stay but not recommended for walkers wanting a good nights sleep.
Bathroom cramped with black grout in the shower. Small and basic for the price we paid
- Bernadette (10/5): -
- Thibault (8/5): -
- Qing Ren (10/5): - Awesome place !
- Per (9/5): Eine sehr gute Ausgangsstation oder Zwischenstation, um auf dem West Highland Way zu wandern. -
- Michael (8/5): A happy stay in excellent surroundings - Location, friendly ambiance, facilities, excellent food, drink and service We had a dog and felt cramped in our room
- Mia (9/5): -
- Banks (9/5): Lovely local - Lovely pub, nice locals who made us feel welcome No onsite parking
- Michael (7/5): -
- Susanne (7/5): - The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was too small for two big suitcases to open fully. And it was quite noisy from the restaurant/bar downstairs.
- Marion (10/5): Loved it! - Great location, lovely old pub which has been modernised but keeps a welcoming friendy atmosphere. Staff were very helpful. Food is great with an interesting selection of dishes using a bit of imagination. Comfy bed. Nothing
- mark (10/5): staying again - Pizza for both of us for tea, excellent and the breakfast was fab, the scrambled egg with salmon was beautiful. The Guinness was very creamy and excellent.
- Mark (10/5): Great wee hotel will be back next year - Great food great service lovely location and dog friendly
- Claire (10/5): - The staff were very friendly and happy to help. They gave a warm welcome after the first leg of the West Highland Way and I felt very comfortable at the inn. The room was very nicely decorated and had tea, coffee etc, and the dinner in the restaurant was excellent. It is well situated in the village and there was an overall pleasant atmosphere. I would stay here again. Nothing I didn't like!
- Wyntrice (6/5): - Room is very compact.
Parking is at a space across and away from the inn so not recommended if you have alot of luggage.
Service is great, very friendly and their full Scottish breakfast was delicious.
- Ewald (8/5): Prima verblijf voor schappelijke prijs. - Locatie, eten, gezelligheid.
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Ole (7/5): -
- Gerald (8/5): Very nice - Great place. Nice room. Excellent pub. A bit pricey
- Valerie (5/5): The woman who checked us in and out was warm and welcoming. The your girl who waited on our table for dinner was charmin - Central in the village. Room was tiny, but clean. The shower and bathroom had a lot of black mould, we were there for only one night so I decided not to use the shower.
The reviews I had read raved about the breakfast; the one we had was cremated. Pudding inedible. Egg burnt around the edges. Sausages almost black. Mushrooms looked almost desiccated they were so over cooked, potato scone like a frisbee. The bacon and beans were the only edible things on the plate.
- Pam (8/5): Nice cozy inn above a restaurant/bar. - Nice cozy inn above a restaurant/bar. Room was very small, not alot of room to open two suitcases on the floor
- Mandy (10/5): - Staff were very accommodating and attentive
- John (8/5): would recommend the Drymen Inn and would go back again if we were in the area. - the evening meal was really good, we enjoyed the quiz night in the bar. the breakfast was excellent. the rooms and bathrooms were small but very cosy and adequate for our one night stay.
the staff were really helpful and very friendly.
- Christine (8/5): Great location in a beautiful area - Friendly staff, nice size room. Plenty of tea/coffee milk in the room, and could help yourself to more Bathroom facilities a bit outdated.
- Stephan (8/5): -
- Gary (10/5): Great place to stay and friendly staff - Prime location and great atmosphere Nothing
- Kathleen (10/5): - Fantastic location, wonderful host, Jacqueline was an amazing host, the best Scottish breakfast, will definitely be coming back 😀 Nothing
- Gavin (9/5): -
- A. L. (9/5): Brilliant stay and a very nice restaurant! -
- Alison (8/5): Good location, lovely staff and good food. Just some repairs needed to be done - Very good and friendly staff. Comfy room. Good food.
Was great for us! A bit of a refurb needed in our bathroom. Broken velux blind held on with duct tape! So a bit of attention needed.
- Bert-Jan (9/5): -
- Tim (8/5): We had a good, comfortable room. Food in the pub was OK. - We had a good, comfortable room. Food in the pub was OK.
- Diana (6/5): Pleasant - The place was nice, the pub downstairs and the staff are really nice people. The breakfast was awsome. I paid more money for my single room with dinner and breakfast included than my two friends and their dog. For a way cheaper price they had a much more beautiful and larger room plus they, of course, had 2 meals included contrary to me being single. It is nobody's fault but I felt the whole service was overpriced while they were happy with their budget stay.
- Nicolas (10/5): A great traditional Scottish pub in a perfect location. - Great location - down the road from Ben Lomond the most southerly munro, 45mins from Glasgow. Traditional pub, great food, friendly welcoming staff, clean well equipped rooms. Great value! Thanks! The pub was noisy on a Wednesday night but you expect that from a popular local!
- Janet (8/5): A welcome sight at the end of day 1 on the whw, friendly staff good food and beautiful breakfast - The staff ( Jackie) checked us in, served us at bar and breakfast the next day, very friendly and efficient and works hard. We stayed on a Sat night and they had live music which was very loud ( excellent band ) but we had been up from 4am and had an early start the next morning Jackie did tell us when we checked in. Maybe just don’t book over the weekend if you need your sleep but understand the bar has to run these nights to bring in the people. By midnight it was all over and we slept well.
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jean (6/5): It met our requirements but would be reluctant to stay again because of the size of the room - Breakfast and Dinner were good. The location suited us Parking was quite a long way away. Our room was very small. There was live music which could be heard very loudly in our room, which we didn't know about until we arrived.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff, location in lovely village, dog friendly. Nothing
- Linda (8/5): Great value for money on the West Highland Way. - Great value for money with lovely food. Friendly staff, very clean and perfect location on West Highland Way. Room a bit small for 2 people but fine for one night.
- Heleen (9/5): Superb - The BEST PORRIDGE I ever tasted!! And the fluffiest pillows on the bed. Super friendly staff who are happy to share tips about anything. For dinner some signature dishes were not available anymore which just goes to show how popular they are. Definitely order a packed lunch if you're going up Conic Hill the next day!
- Valerie De (10/5): - Lovely! First inn along the WHW and one of our favorites!
- Xheretic (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional breakfast, splendid full scottish breakfast
- Mark (8/5): Okish - Good sized bed The bedroom had evidence of a water leak in the ceiling area .
The roof window needed a run down and paint .
The end of the window when open was desperately needing a paint and a clean
- Sharon (5/5): Extremely loud music playing until late and overpriced for what it is - I enjoyed my evening meal- vegetarian enchiladas
The staff were pleasant enough during any interactions
The inn was central with a shop close by and parking a short distance away
There was a nice selection of water, tea and coffee- although I didn't use most of it
The room was very compact but that was fine for a one night stay The room had extremely small over bed wardrobes that were useless for hanging anything in- they were too short even for a jacket to hang without getting crushed at the bottom.
I also didn't appreciated being served the "sauteed vegetables" for breakfast which were in fact the exact same filling as had been in my enchiladas the night before- for £12 the breakfast consisted of the previously mentioned vegetables , a fried egg (I wasn't given an option of how I would like an egg prepared) mushrooms, one potato scone , and a grilled tomato breakfast probably cost around £1.50 to prepare.
My biggest annoyance, however, was the noise levels. I had seen on the booking that there could be some associated noise as it was a busy pub so had planned and taken my ear buds to wear to drown out any noises (having stayed in inns/ pubs before I had a reasonable expectation)What I didn't expect was the noise level to be so loud that the floor was vibrating, I couldn't even hear the tv over the music, and even trying to wear noise reducing earphones to listen to music couldn't drown out the music coming up from the pub. There was also a seating area (?smoking area) outside the bedroom window so there was constant sing-a-longs going on from the outside area.
I'm not a bah-humbug kind of a person but that level of noise was not was what suggested when I read the booking- just be honest and say- yep- if you were hoping for a 9.30pm bedtime because you were knackered from a full day of activity then don't stay here as you will not be able to get any sleep until about mid-night when the music goes off and all the happy pub customers make their way home.
I took a recording of my tv playing while the music was going on and have shown it to several people who all agree that the level of noise was way out of order- even for a pub. I would definitely not have booked here if I'd known - I'd been as well sitting in the bar itself.
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, food dinner and breakfast.
- Dalsoo (7/5): Good -
- Gillian (9/5): Staff are so welcoming. Couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely be paying another visit in the future. - Breakfast was lovely. Entertainment on Saturday night was excellent. Locals and staff so welcoming. N/A
- Joy (6/5): Pleasant -
