El hotel es una bella casona con cuartos de buen tamaño, el restaurante aunque rico es muy limitado. las habitaciones que no estan en la casona podrian ser mejoradas un poco. reserve 3 suites y una estaba muy por debajo de lo esperado.

Das Zimmer war top ausgestattet, das war eine der wenigen Orten wo es in echt besser ist als auf den Bildern. Kann ich nur zur 1000% weiter empfehlen, gerne wieder.

- Charlene (10/5): Absolutely Wonderful!! - We cannot say enough wonderful things about Hacienda Peña Pobre. From the moment we arrived, it felt more like staying at a beautiful European estate than a hotel. The grounds are absolutely pristine, the entire property is spotless, and every detail has been thoughtfully cared for. The rooms are beautiful, exceptionally clean, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are wonderful, the sheets feel high-end, and the pillows are so cozy that we slept better here than we do at home. What truly makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone has been warm, kind, and welcoming, but Antonio at the front desk deserves special recognition. He has gone far above and beyond for our family during a very difficult time while our son has been in the hospital nearby. Antonio has treated us like family and has shown us such kindness, compassion, and support. We will never forget how much that meant to us. The location is also excellent. There are several great restaurants nearby, and a huge three-story mall within walking distance, which made it easy to get out, take a walk, and have a change of scenery. We give Hacienda Peña Pobre our very highest recommendation. It is a beautiful, peaceful, and comforting place to stay, with exceptional service and genuine hospitality.

El servicio de comida es en su mayoría muy bueno... les falta tener la suficiente agua para tomar... se les acabo la fruta... el pan dulce el agua para tomar... el café es poco profesional...sale mas rico y cargado un andatti de 20 pesos q el q tenian en hotel...

- Kristian (9/5): Beautiful Hacienda! - Beautiful Hacienda! Very nice high ceilings, clean comfortable room! Its a bit hot in the room, however, there was a ventilator Nice shower! Excellent breakfast which was included! Staff was very friendly and helpful! The room/hacienda is great! However, you can hear every single sound and word from the room next door. Door separating rooms should have some sort of sound proofing! We could hear the entire conversation happening next door, at 3 am. Parking should not be charged.

- MIGUEL (7/5): Las habitaciones standard no son lo esperado - La hacienda es un lugar histórico y bien remodelado. La cama muy cómoda, pese a coger una habitación standard. El desayuno continental tipo bufet está muy bien, aunque había opiniones que ponía que era malo, nos pareció más que correcto. Bollería de calidad, fruta recién cortada, zumos, café, cereales, yogur. El personal muy agradable Fallo muy importante! En el edificio anexo es donde están las habitaciones standard. No hay ascensor! Por lo que has de tenerlo en cuenta. No lo pone en ningún sitio y te llevas la sorpresa, si tienes algún problema de movilidad como es nuestro caso. El hotel estaba lleno y no nos pudieron cambiar de habitación. El hotel esta muy lejos del centro, casi 1hora y andando por la zona no hay nada.

- JOSUE RAFAEL (9/5): Excelente - Excelentes instalaciones, habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias, el personal es muy atento, se nos incluyó desayuno continental y su menú adicional de desayunos aunque quizá limitado, estaba rico a precios normales para el tipo de hotel. El edificio es histórico, con mucha historia y restaurado con excelentes detalles. El tema de comunicación y divisa en costos, el hecho de que toda su comunicación visual esté en inglés así como sus costos en el restaurante en dólar, considero resta importancia e incongruencia al ser unas excelentes instalaciones en este país México, como para eliminar el español y los pesos mexicanos, sus costos son justos, que sea lo justo que siempre arriba vaya primero el español y los pesos, y luego alterno el idioma y divisa para el extranjero. Es lo justo también, pues cuando se viaja a USA ellos no cambian su idioma para recibirnos.

- CLAUDIA (7/5): el lugar muy lindo, pero el servicio no es el mejor - Super mal que de inicio no había ni agua en la recepción al llegar a hacer check in, en la mañana del domingo no servían las cafeteras?¡ ni una sola cafetera funcionando el domingo? pues pésimo no poder tomar un café, el joven que nos recibió en recepción al hacer el check in no encontró nuestra reservación, al salir un desastre para cobrarnos, porque no tenían idea de con qué tarjeta nos cobrarían, al llegar una toalla en la habitación! por lo menos dos necesitabamos, el domingo en la mañana solicitamos toallas, tuvimos que esperar poco más de una hora porque no había toallas limpias en el hotel?!, el lugar es lndo, pero qué desorden y decepción.

- Ricarda (7/5): - A wonderful building – an old hacienda with great character. Very beautiful and full of charm. The staff was outstanding, incredibly helpful and extremely friendly. To clarify in advance: this is a hotel that is part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Breakfast offered very limited choice. Already by 9:00 a.m., there were no croissants left and not enough yogurt available. There was no option to have breakfast indoors. Outside, it was extremely cold, meaning it was only possible to sit outside wearing two sweaters plus a jacket. Our room was also not heated, as there is no heating system in the hotel. We were provided with a small space heater, which did not sufficiently warm the suite. The location is very remote. No matter where you want to go, you need to travel at least 20 km to reach the city. On the positive side, it is very quiet

The property itself has several issues: Some rooms (like ours) are on the third floor with no elevator, the air conditioner didn’t work properly, there was no hot water in the bathroom, and the toilet flush was unreliable. The room also lacked basic amenities such as a kettle, refrigerator, TV, and iron,. Overall, the staff were kind, but the room comfort needs improvement. Also, the location is way far from Mexico City’s vibrant and fun neighborhoods.

Al llegar hacen un recorrido por toda la casa y te cuentan algo de su historia Tuve un poco de frío en la terraza donde está el restaurant, pero te dan unas cobijitas para mitigarlo.

The building is gorgeous and well decorated, the staff was super nic - Facilities are gorgeous, it’s very quiet inside, you feel isolated from the city. The staff was super attentive. The lunch and dinner menu could have more options, that way you don’t want to go out of the hotel.

Muy buena atención en general, limpieza impecable en las habitaciones, privacidad y mucho más encontrarás en este hermoso lugar. Quizás pudieran mejorar la oferta gastronómica.
