• Rigoberto (6/5): - The beach at Kino was amazing had a great time unfortunately there were a few issues with our hotel room one the stove did not work properly to and most important was the room was not as clean as expected the place was a bit small nothing like the pictures but as I said the beach was amazing.

• Bruno (8/5): - The Sea is awesome! Town is quite, It is just that at night time there is so much noise at the area. Car with very loud music in the middle of the night. Some vandalism by the parking lot of the Sea.

• Francisco (4/5): Problemas en el paraíso. - Necesitan trabajar bastante en la limpieza, encontramos una cucaracha muerta y muy sucio debajo de las camas, la falta de un velador propició que dos noches tuviéramos “fiesta” con los huéspedes de abajo, tuvimos que salir a pedir silencio con el riesgo que significa pedir esto a personas tomadas. Las regaderas del baño están en mal estado, en fin Kino es un paraíso y uno esperaría por el precio estar en un lugar a la altura.

• Rosa (10/5): - I loved this place. It is in a good location right across from the beach. It's fairly peaceful and safe. It's older but in a good way. Raquel, who checked us in, was very attentive asking if we required anything and usually checking up on us once a day. I will definitely be going back.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Playa Azul Kino is a very nice, well kept, modern lodging in the heart of Bahia de Kino Nueve. The property owner lives next to the motel and she is very responsive to any need you may have. The room was super clean with comfortable beds, hot water and well decorated. It is right across from the beach and only 100 meters from a well-stocked OXOX store. I highly recommend Playa Azul Kino!

Our room was pretty quiet from street noise, but a front unit would have been very noisy. The beach is right across the street, and the neighborhood was super safe/secure. The hotel complex is very small, so we never met the administration, and no room service is available. I would stay there again if in town, since now we know what to bring or not bring.

The owner was waiting for us when we arrived (hint: we reached out to her via facebook messenger to let her know when we were coming because there isn't anyone on site normally). We had an amazing view of the ocean and there is a beach access one block over. Lots of restaurants in walking distance as well as an OXXO. Room was clean and spacious. Don't expect the internet connection to be fast, but it does exist! Kino is a place to disconnect, I think.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Clean, comfortable, nicely laid-back - I'd stayed here before some years ago, and enjoyed my return visit. The owner and her small staff are very kind, though I was a bit surprised that my room wasn't made up the first morning: no big deal, I hadn't made a mess anyway. The rooms are large and bright, with a handy and well-stocked kitchenette with microwave, sink, and stove top. My only real pause was the shower, which could definitely stand to be updated with new tile and fixtures. The air conditioning was great. Internet non-existent, unfortunately, though I didn't really miss it for just three days and could no doubt have got access by going downstairs and closer to the office. I'll happily stay here again.
• Joseph (10/5): Nice house close to the beach! - We rented a three bedroom house that featured a terraza with a view of the ocean and was a block away from a convenience store. The beach was about two blocks away. The property manager was sweet and extremely attentive. The house was clean and had good air conditioning and all rooms had ceiling fans. I highly recommend this place for families or groups of up to 12 people.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Quiet place in a secluded part of Mexico - Thie Playa reminded us of old school Mexico. It is one of only 2 or 3 places in Kino and could use an up grade in windows and doors that seal tighter. It was a good location and clean near a good beach, store and restaurants.

• luke (6/5): Good place for the price - The place is not fancy but has a nice ambiance and location for the price. The room was OK and the free with fi and cable TV helped. Just remember it is an inexpensive place at the beach and you'll be fine. The beach was nice and the ocean waters were crystal clear
• sara (4/5): NOT A HOTEL, cold apartment with no staff - First of all, this is NOT a hotel. There is no reception desk or office. There is no lobby or common area. It is an apartment building in marginal repair. We had to wait 20 minutes for the handyman to arrive with the key to let us in to the unit. He then had to turn on the hot water, plug in the mini-fridge, find some towels & TP. There was no drinking water provided, no maps of the area, no phone in the room, none of the usual hotel-type amenities. The bathroom was grubby with a long-dead roach falling to pieces on the floor. There were 4 random cups and 2 plates and 3 spoons and no forks in the mini-kitchen, no dishsoap or sponge. There was no heat in the unit and the weather was very cold & windy; we were given a few blankets that did not smell clean. Because it was so cold, we stripped the sheet off the bed to stuff it into the cracks in the door to keep the wind from blowing in. On the plus side, the handyman & the owner (whom I only spoke to on the phone, never met) were friendly. The hot water worked, though I had to unscrew the showerhead to get a decent flow of water. Because the town is so quiet we never felt unsafe even though the apartment's locks were flimsy.
