• Nasyaa (6/5): - Хорошее расположение, прекрасный персонал. Угостили чаем, печеньками, манго, всегда приветливые. Предоставляют шампунь, гель для душа, зубную щётку. Можно оплатить картой, QR, наличными. На кровате есть электроодеяло. Вид на озеро. Состояние номера - уже требует ремонта. Нет возможности отказаться от уборки (табличек не беспокоить). Заходят в номер в любое время, когда Вас нет, даже в день заезда. Зашли, чтобы открыть окно, хотя нам это было не нужно. Окно до конца не закрывается. Остаётся пространство примерно 1см.

• H (5/5): not worth the price we paid. - The woman at the the reception was friendly and helped us with the late check in. The room was old, smelled unpleasant, and definitely needed renovation. The bathroom was rusty and not nice at all. The pictures didn’t match the actual room. There was no room service, and the room was only cleaned after we asked for it.

• Erin (10/5): - We like the location and the room. For its price. It more than what we expected. It really exceeds our expectations. The price is not that expensive for 3 pax and already with free breakfast. We also love the bread in our breakfast!! None. We love our stay really. If there is something we didnt like. We didnt mind it because maybe its not that big deal.
• Louisa (10/5): incredible staff, and lovely lake views - The staff were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. It created a lovely atmosphere and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The location is excellent — central enough to walk everywhere but still peaceful. The views from the hotel are gorgeous. From our room window we looked straight out over the lake, which was especially beautiful in the morning and evening when the mist rolled in over the water. Rooms were cleaned every day and always kept tidy. Breakfast was included each morning and offered a good selection to start the day. There is also a full restaurant at the hotel with a varied food and drinks menu, which was convenient after long days exploring. The hotel also has lift access to the upper floors, which makes moving luggage much easier. Wifi is excellent Nothing at all

• Stephanie (8/5): Un séjour agréable dans un hôtel familial un bon rapport qualité prix - L’hôtel est situé au bord du lac et à une vue magnifique. Les propriétaires sont adorables et aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est bon et fait maison. La chambre sentait un peu l’humidité et la douche sans paroi mouille tout. Ce n’est pas très agréable d’avoir les pieds mouillés pour aller aux toilettes.

I do not eat breakfast early in the morning so was expecting to just miss out on the free breakfast, but the staff allowed me to order later with no cost. They also helped me book a trek & gave me food to take away when I left. Rooms are a tad dated but incredibly clean & spacious, also hot showers. great location with a lovely view of the lake The WiFi on the 3rd floor was sometimes glitchy but the owner reset it upon request. (Perfect in the 4th floor though) The room was also abit moist during the rain so my clothes did not dry but that can’t be helped

Facilitating a late arrival after a night bus. We initially booked for one night and ended up staying 4. The room was a little tired with some power outlets not working. But for the price and location was fine. It was clean.

• Serena (5/5): Not all the rooms have the Lake View! - The location: Sapa Lake View Hotel is located in front of the lake. It is close to the bus station and the centre of the town. The room was warm. There is air condition that works both hot and cold. The water was hot and the pressure in the shower was ok. Despite the poor communication in English, the staff was helpful. Only the owner speaks English and she always tried to help. We had problems with our room and she did her best to fulfil our demands. Tips for travellers: Be careful about the room you book. Even if in the description there is written “View” in some rooms there is a window facing a big wall. This is not a view. If you want a real view, the title of the room you book has to specify “with Lake View”. For example: “Superior Double Room with Lake View”. If you book “Superior Double Room”, you won’t have any view. There is WiFi but it was weak and especially in the evening it kept getting interrupted. The internet speed was around 45 Mbps for download and 24 Mbps for upload. On the first floor of the hotel, there is a restaurant with an open kitchen. When they cook, all the smell of food goes up into the rooms. There is also a fireplace and the first day we felt bad smell of smoke in our room. We didn’t like it at all!
• Shweta (10/5): Charming getaway: Perfect Views and Warm Hospitality - This hotel is a fantastic find! We reached early in the morning at an odd time - 5:30 am, but the staff helped to check-in quickly. The entrance to the hotel is surreal. Our room had a wonderful view of the lake and was very clean. The heated bed kept us nice and cozy in the cold December weather. The host and staff are very welcoming and friendly - lovely people. Breakfast was warm and delicious every morning. The location is perfect for everything - food places and marts are nearby AND is good for catching the monorail to Fansipan at Sun Plaza station. As we left, the staff packed us some bread and fresh fruits for the road. The host also dropped us to the bus stop where we took the bus to our next destination. Oh, I miss this place already! Our Best wishes to you and your team Sapa Lakeview hotel and lots of love from India! Highly recommend for a relaxing stay! We loved it, no cons.
• Caroline (10/5): Owners who care!!! - The room was very clean and spacious. Everything you could wish for was there. But the most important thing I have to say is about these wonderful people working there🫶🏻 I fell sick during my stay at the Lake View Hotel and they were the absolute best. Not only did they make me a hot water bottle in the middle of the night, drove me to the hospital and picked me up again, they even came by the hospital to look after me and brought me some snacks. they took care of me like I was part of their family. They brought me tea several times a day to my room and made sure I stayed until I was healthy again. I could have not imagined staying somewhere else during this time. Much love and gratitude to you, i will be forever thankful

• Deedee (10/5): Exceptional - Staff very helpful with sightseeing tips. They are also kind, letting me rest in an available room while waiting for my overnight sleeper bus to go back to Hanoi. Location right across from Sapa lake offers fantastic views, many nearby food options, and Sapa market.
• keiichi (8/5): - 名前の通り部屋やテラスから湖が見えます。　日本でいうと白樺湖の河畔のホテルのような感じです。白樺湖と違て夜は照明できれいです。　ホテルはファミリービジネスだと思うのですが、スタッフもフレンドリーで親切で最終日にはバスターミナルまで車で送ってもらえました。

La plupart des employés n'omt aucune notion d'anglais. Un lavage m'a coûté 35$US pour 7 kilos! N'allez pas là. Chercher un peu, vous trouverez mieux!

Petit déjeuner très light Un seul choix possible sur une carte (genre une unique crèpe avec des fruits) La vue est agréable mais implique le bruit de la circulation, ceci dit, cela ne nous a pas trop gêné
• Alice (8/5): - 호수 앞에 위치한 호텔입니다. 걸어서 다니기 좋은 위치였어요. 사파는 추운 곳이라 실내에 작은 온열기가 있었고 이걸 틀어놓은 덕에 춥지 않게 지냈습니다. 시설이 썩 좋다고 할수는 없지만 그렇다고 나쁘지도 않았어요. 가격 대비 깔끔하고 편안한 호텔이었습니다. 직원분들이 늘 웃는 얼굴로 정감있게 대해주셔서 지내는 동안 마음이 편했습니다. 직원분들 덕분인지 왠지 정이 가는 숙소였어요. 조식은 부페식이 아니고 오믈렛과 빵, 누들, 크레페와 과일 중 하나를 선택해서 먹는거예요. 커피는 제공되고요. 식사도 화려하진 않았지만 가정식으로 정감이 느껴집니다.

• Kentarou (8/5): 最高のロケーション - Sapaのホテル群の中では、最善のロケーションの一つだと思います。前面道路が広い（Sapaのホテルは前面道路が狭いとか、坂の途中にあるとか車の侵入が困難なホテルが多い）し、公園、市場、レストラン等へのアクセスが良いです。

• Voyageurs (4/5): Sapa Lake View Hotel - Personnel accueillant, serviable et attentif aux besoins des voyageurs. Malheureusement, la propreté de la chambre laissait gravement à désirer et est entièrement à revoir... Très déçus à ce propos. Literie froissée et recouverte de tâches et de poils/cheveux (comme si les draps avaient à peine été secoués entre deux occupants) et il en était de même pour les linges de douche mis à disposition. À notre arrivée, il y a avait aussi des cheveux dans l'évier de la salle de bain et de la poussière sur pratiquement tous les meubles de la chambre. Les rideaux étaient également tâchés et les fenêtres sales. À défaut d'avoir pu profiter d'une chambre propre et accueillante, la vue sur le lac était agréable.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Établissement surévalué - Chambre de bain malpropre. Réservoir à eau dans la chambre de bain a une fuite. Le papier de toilette est très humide. Les 2 grandes et uniques serviettes sont humides. Le chauffage est un ventilateur chauffant portatif. Le robinet du lavabo coule, ne ferme pas étanche. La restauration est déficiente.
• joo kwang (6/5): - Our first impression upon arrival was that the reception was not too friendly, Our local friend was trying to help us communicate was rudely told not to touch our passport. This should not have happen as the people in hotel couldn't speak English and we couldn't speak Vietnamese. But to be fair to Hotel, the room was Ok, Nice view of lake. Other problem was that there is always this wedding reception going on with Karaoke & loud music going on until near midnight which (also near the road-Loud traffic noise) interrupted our sleep.

• Randy (6/5): I often use expedia reviews but rarely write one.. - I comment only if I feel the consensus is off base by more than one point. I give this hotel a 3.3, not a 4.3, as is consensus. but...value for money is good, right in line. it is a nice, mostly clean, basic hotel. good staff, good location for its purpose. but not a 4,3, which implies level of luxury or extra special setting or attributes. (the receptionist with the young daughter is an absolute delight) the one negative...interior noise from other guests or staff...nothing is carpeted, nothing softens or absorbs noise....just tole floors that amplify all doors closing, all chatter and other noise...so a bit crazy in this regard. expect to be woken by noise, often. makes the not inconsiderate street noise seem tame. ps...to owners or management, if you read this....the good news is, this problem is easy to fix: 1. speak to your staff about not socializing in stair wells, 2. add a small rug each floor...even a wall tapestry, your local markets have many featuring local ethnic art! bon voyage.
• Sadikin (10/5): For New Day Hotel - My stay was good, could be better!, due to overbook, they send me to New Day Hotel, not far but not located on they lake front, However with Lake view from the balcony. The New Day Hotel staffs can not speak english, I had a hard time try to expain to them, and have to ask Ly ( Sapa Lake View Hotel) to help which not convenient. The only exception is Ly. She is very helpful and generous, help me hire bike and book bus tiket as well.
• Brian (10/5): Sapa stay September 2016 - Wonderful staff. Even gave me some refreshments for my travel back to Hanoi, after I had checked out. How is that for customer service?
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, near the centre of Sapa but not loudsy. No free breakfast but good food. The price is rather high for 1* hotel without breakfast.
