James (10/5): - The staff were truly wonderful at Hotel Piazza Pitti Palace and Letizia made sure we were completely welcomed and comfortable immediately on arrival which was a lovely personal touch. The location of the hotel is terrific, we were able to see so much of what Florence had to offer for dining and site seeing and the suites were very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. 10/10 we will definitely be staying there again amazing birthday treat!

Liz (10/5): THE place to stay in Florence! Perfection! - This is the place to stay in Florence!!! It’s beautiful and feels like you’re in a Pitti Palace guest house with the murals and furniture, but beyond the aesthetics, the location couldn’t be more perfect. Delicious restaurants right outside and steps from the Ponte Vecchio. My family fell in love with this place immediately and my son even volunteered to do a silly photo shoot for the reviews. Enjoy!

Wendy (10/5): - If you want to experience a taste of old world elegance for a nominal cost, and be within easy access to the Uffizi and Pitti Palace this is the place to stay. Easily walkable from the train station and perfectly situated directly across from the Pitti Palace. Sleep with the old world Masters surrounding you with authentic tempura frescos on the walls and ceilings. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We were provided recommendations for local restaurants, sights to see and places to go that were not on the tourist tracks. If I had more time I would stay longer. It will definitely be on my 'places to return to' list.
Alexis (10/5): - I stayed in the deluxe suite and it was genuinely the most beautiful hotel room i’ve ever stayed in. It has a very italian feel (rustic, artistic and romantic) with modern bathrooms. The sauna was very much needed and the jetted bath was amazing. The staff as well were lovely and very accommodating. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay, thank you! I cannot wait to be back!

mingqiang (2/5): very bad experience - I want to share my bad experience of what happened when I stayed in their suite on 2/14 night. I booked their Jetted tub, city view suite because we want to celebrate Valentine's day but we didn't expect that their room would have a power outage. We only used their hair dryer . Their reception was off after 7pm and she didn't tell me that how to handle it. She did left the emergency contact but we don't have phone service to call their number. We need to contact our phone company from our country to add international phone plan to contact them. We also don't use WhatsApp app. I can't imagine what happened if we don't find anybody that night and the hotel reception should tell us how to handle this kind emergency situation when they check in. I try to explain how my bad experience when I check out but reception told me that is normal happened. I wrote an email to them but never reply. Don't Waste money to stay .
Heather (8/5): - Loved the room, loved the location. Directly across from Pitti Palace and within walking distance to many great sites. A quick five minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. We had a 2 bdrm/2 bath suite which was huge and having two bathrooms was great. Didn’t have much contact with reception but enjoyed our stayed. Shopping and restaurants all around. Would stay again.

jessy (10/5): - We loved our stay and our incredible room. Our balcony overlooking the street was the downtime we needed to relax in between exploration. The staff was incredibly accommodating and front desk went out of their way to help us make a train when there was a cab shortage.
Richard (10/5): - All the staff we encountered were excellent, being most helpful on arrival as we were a little before check in and the housekeeper, Anna did everything she could to help with luggage and car arrangements as there is No parking on-site. Parking is 30 euro per day. Carolina was fabulous with her recommendations for restaurants and letting us know that the streets were closed on our departure day and helping us coordinate a plan with luggage loading with the garage. Directly across from the Pitti Palace, the location was perfect as it was out of the congestion in central Florence but no more than 10 minutes walk to all the central attractions over the Ponte de Vecchio bridge. The suite was incredibly well decorated and the bathroom luxurious! A wonderful location for a honeymoon or two seventy-year olds dream place!

Some minor items need repair (tile on bathroom floor). It is very clean, however and I appreciated the charm and beauty of staying in such a remarkable property.

Yi (6/5): - The room has good paint on the wall which looks beautiful! Room is clean but pretty old and not quiet, you can hear the voice from you neighbor. Staff service is limited as they are not at the hotel most of the time (I feel this property is more like a B&B than a hotel). Not easy to call taxi, so plan earlier when you have to catch a train.
Yi (6/5): - This property has nice paint on the wall , it’s very beautiful. Room is clean but kind of old. Facility in the room is good, it has everything we need. Transportation is not easy!! You will need a taxi to the train station, but it’s not easy to call a taxi there. I almost missed the train when I left the hotel. I asked the staff to call a taxi for me , and she did it for me. But taxi didn’t come! And I asked another staff to call taxi for me, she said “no taxi is available”. Then we have to stand in front near the gate to call taxi by ourselves. Fortunately we got one and arrived the train station 3 mins before the departure time. So , remember to plan earlier if you take train!

This place is ABSOLUTELY stunning, starting from the beautiful frescoes painted in the room’s ceiling, till the decor and details- it truly looks like a palace. The rooms are wide and ours at least had three spaces, the bedroom and the living room and the bathroom. The hotel was conveniently located right in front of the Pitti palace, and within walking distance to the Ponte Vecchio, and many dining and shopping destinations. We will definitely be coming back this place which is amazing and we can’t say enough good things!

Cathy (10/5): - Such a great hotel. From the minute you check in Letizia welcomes you with marshmallow candies that are delicious. She walks you to your gorgeous room and you are taken back to the 1600s but with the ultimate comfort. The bed is extremely comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with drinks and water, and the Jacuzzi spa tub in the spa room is just waiting for you to jump in. Best experience ever!!!!

The jacuzzi in the room was great for soaking weary legs from long days of walking the city. The staff was very accommodating with our late check in and early check out times. They arranged for a taxi to help us get to the airport for a early flight. Letizia, Ginerva and Sady all contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable week in Florence!

Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved our stay at the Piazza Pitti Palace! It is on the quieter side of the river yet close to all the highlights of Florence (5-15 minute walk). Staff were so friendly and readily available. We stayed in the king suite which was spectacular. Rooms were nice and clean. Only downfall is the walls are thin so if you have noisy neighbors or it’s a busy night on the small street that it is on, it may be a bit loud. I still give it 5 stars because it was a great stay and I am a heavy sleeper.

The room with the balcony had no shower place so that you need to take a shower in the bathtub with the curtain. No 24 hours reception, they are out of the office during office hour too. You need to pay city taxes with them, understandable. But they only want cash. The free cookies and dessert in the dinning room is not changed everyday based. They use ikea Pillow which is ok. But if you uncover the pillow I saw stains on the pillow... and hairs on the blanket, can’t stand...

Our hotel room was Luxury Apartment and it was immaculately designed with ancient Roman murals painted walls, comfy beds, kitchen, dining table, jet tub, sauna, plenty of towels and exotic toiletries,mini bar(surcharge)free water bottle. The amenities in the kitchen space such as the coffee machine and sweet treats were a lovely addition. The rooms reflected the gorgeous traditional location with frescos in the rooms . Rooms were cleaned and tidied daily and left to an immaculate standard. Location is perfect- 5 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and literally opposite the Pitti Palace. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Marianne (10/5): A Florentine Jewel - Staying at Piazza Pitti Palace makes one feel like royalty. This is an incredibly beautiful residence with attention given to every detail. There are only 4 suites and we were fortunate to stay in one of them. Everything was done to perfection. Breakfast is served in a small elegant dining room. Our suite looked out to the Pitti Palace Museum. Loved it!
